Adrian winked at her when she knelt down. "You could, if you wished... though I kinda doubt anyone would look at me more than once with you anywhere nearby," he said with amusement before he frowned slightly, looking down at his ankle when she spoke in a low voice that was obviously annoyed. He shifted, forgetting he had the silver arrow stuck in his belt as he drew it, missing the fact that the metal rippled as it flowed as if it were liquid before solidifying into a dual edged blade that sheared through the branches and narrow vines with a low satisfying popping sound just behind his ankle. He blinked as he lifted his hand, noticing the knife. "That's odd, I thought of a knife... yet how..." he thought, not realizing that to any telepath or psychic sensitive to telepathy his thought was like someone yelling at the top of their lungs.

Lillian heard Adrian saying something, though with her mind flooding with thoughts of how to remove the rose bush from Adrian's ankle, she couldn't pick out much of what was said. She was still gripping at the thorny branches, unaware that she was getting cuts on her hands. "Get off him... Huh?" she growled, yet stopped pulling at the branch as she noticed a knife cutting through them, just behind Adrian's ankle. "Where did you...? I mean you didn't have that with you before... Did you?" she asked, looking at the knife in utter confusion, yet she somehow could tell that Adrian was just as baffled by the knife as she was. There was blood flowing from the scrapes and deep cuts on her hands, though she honestly was not paying them any mind because she wanted to check if Adrian was all right.

Adrian heard the leopard chuffing as if to tell them to 'hurry up'. He frowned as he saw the cuts on Lillian's hands before he shifted his arms, unconsciously flicking the knife through the air so it hit the tree next to the leopard, who didn't even blink, obviously more focused on them. He tore his shirt into a few strips, using them to bind the cuts on Lillian's hands to stop the bleeding. He blinked as he noticed that there was no mud on his shirt, though he had fallen in the mud obviously a short time before. "No... but the only thing I had with me... was the core of that arrow that was used... earlier," he said quietly, kneeling and jerking the thorny branch out of his ankle before sliding it carefully upward and closer to him, freeing it completely though he knew due to the adrenaline flowing through his veins it wouldn't be aching immediately. "Seems we're having a rough evening, but it's a beautiful area," he observed as he shifted his weight, stepping up the hill close to the leopard, who nudged against him like a housecat desiring attention; in that moment he was more focused on helping Lillian and didn't really notice the strangeness of that particular movement as a wild animal would never nuzzle or try to snuggle with someone they didn't know or spend time with.

Awaiting an answer from Adrian, Lillian felt her hands were sore. She looked at them briefly, yet had to look away because of all the blood. "Th-thanks..." she said after Adrian bound her hands to stop the bleeding. "Are you saying that the arrow core turned into a... knife? How could that even happen...?" she asked, though it was directed more to herself because of how absurd she thought that it would sound if she were really asking Adrian what he thought of the matter. She nodded in agreement to Adrian's last words and she looked to the leopard, confused as she barely caught its nuzzling Adrian in an almost affectionate way. 'That was kind of weird... Yet kind of cute how the leopard nudged him.' she thought softly to herself as she waited for the leopard to lead the way.

Adrian exhaled. "Very good question, because I have no idea how it could be remotely possible," he murmured quietly as he noticed the leopard loping up towards the top of the hill and pausing, obviously waiting for them.

Lillian nodded at Adrian as she looked to the leopard. "I guess that if we follow the leopard we could find out?" she said before making her way after the leopard. She didn't know why, but for some reason this leopard seemed way more friendly than a large cat should and that in turn made the blue haired girl want to go up to and hug the leopard. "I wonder if I'd get in trouble or something if I hugged the leopard..." she thought aloud, though she covered her mouth in embarrassment as she realized that her thoughts had floated from her lips.

Adrian shrugged as he walked up the hill carefully. "If she's friendly enough to snuggle a perfect stranger, I don't see why not," he said with a faint half smile, half teasing Lillian.

Looking from Adrian to the leopard she thought about hugging the big cat, yet stopped herself. "I doubt she'd like that too much. Yeah sure, she seems nice enough, though I don't want to offend such an amazing creature by up and hugging it." she said, calling the leopard a she, not really certain if it was really a 'she' or not. She could kind of tell that Adrian was teasing her, although Lillian was not going to just waltz over to the leopard and hug it. "I think that I am going to skip my botany lessons in the greenhouse with the gardener for a while..." she said as she looked down at her hands that had been cut up by thorns.

"Your injuries will be healed, do not worry," the male voice from earlier said quietly. Adrian shrugged. He noticed that the leopard crested the hill before vanishing over the other side. What drew his attention was the low gurgling sound that he could hear through a nearby dead tree. Underground stream, most likely, he thought. He cocked an eyebrow when he noticed the leopard near what seemed to be a hill to their right. He noticed almost immediately the small two foot wide, foot and a half tall opening that firelight gleamed out of as well even hidden by the blueberry and strawberry bushes that the leopard stood near.

Lillian was walking slowly as she followed the leopard and she jumped as she heard the voice from earlier speaking. "All right... Please don't do that or I'm liable to have a heart attack or something..." she said, meaning that she did not want that male voice to just talk and startle her out of the blue. All that she wanted was to get to where ever that leopard was leading her and Adrian. She soon saw the leopard and she closed the gap between the two of them rather quickly because she wanted to see who was there to help Adrian. "I wish that I had something for you, though I am not so sure what a leopard would want from me." she said, cautiously putting a bandaged hand on the big cat's head, rubbing it gently and hoping that her arm would still be in place when she went to pull it back.

"Do what?" the voice said, sounding distinctly amused as a soft creak came from a nearby tree gave away the speaker's location. The near seven foot man with long curly black hair oddly similar to Adrian's with brilliant teal-navy eyes crouched in the tree. Adrian blinked, looking up as the leopard chuffed before a low feminine chuckle sounded through the air.

Lillian was still rubbing the leopard's head softly as she heard the male voice speaking again, yet this time it seemed to be right near her. She jumped, pulled her arm back from the leopard, looking ni the direction of the voice. "Don't scare me... That's what I don't want you to do, though you can... if you want..." she said, her words pouring from her mouth before she had her eyes fully on the man that was no standing near a tree; however she added the last bit as she saw the man. She hadn't ever seen anyone as tall as this man in her life and she hoped that she'd not say or do anything to offend him. 'I really need to control my tongue... Maybe Daddy was right about that... I don't want to offend someone like that guy... Although, I shouldn't be judging him by what he looks like either, since he might actually be nice... Oh shut up and stop staring at him like you're terrified or something...' she thought, talking to herself, all while looking at the ground.

The giant chuckled, looking amused. "You remind me of my sister Natalya, feisty, opinionated, and determined," he said with amusement as he leaned against the tree trunk. Adrian cocked an eyebrow, wary. It was clear the tall man found Lillian amusing rather than annoying. He jumped slightly as he realized the leopard was gone and Ivory leaned against the tree next to him, looking highly amused as her deep golden eyes flicked from him to Lillian, then back.

Lillian looked at her hands, sighing as she thought of how she'd be able to explain how she got hurt. She knew that the man had said that her hands would be healed, yet she didn't think it possible to completely remove the scratch and cut marks that would be on her hands after they were healed. Yet, she wasn't sure what was possible and what wasn't, due to the weird things that were happening and being seen by her. "I guess I'll take that as a compliment...?" she said, looking up and noticing Ivory. "Umm... would you be able to help Adrian now? I don't mind if my hands aren't fixed up... I just want to be sure that whatever is happening to him doesn't make him fall apart, kill him or something awful like that..." she said in a questioning sort of way to Ivory, concern for her new friend lacing her tone as she spoke. True, her words, if heard by the wrong person would sound completely terrible, though she wasn't exactly positive about just what may happen if Adrian wasn't helped right away.

Ivory tilted her head with a small teasing smile on her face as she saw the human's flustered expression. "If he truly is of the Dragonseeker bloodline like my lifemate Razvan, then there should be something we can do, though we've found the best thing to accelerate the change is blood," she said with amusement. Adrian blinked at Ivory's words, confused. "What, a blood transfusion or something?" he said blankly, just as confused and cautious as Lillian as Razvan pushed off the tree. He jumped slightly as the man did so, as it was obvious the man was a warrior and he was quite intimidating. He was mildly surprised when the tall man took Lillian's hands extremely gently as it seemed that a faint silvery white glow flickered at the edges of the fabric bandages before he slowly pulled them away, wiping off the excess blood to reveal unmarked skin. "No, not a transfusion in the way you know it... but by drinking it," he said in a low voice. Adrian cleared his throat, somewhat disgusted by the idea. "You're joking, right?" he said suddenly. Ivory sighed. "As we said before, the undead are our kind who have willingly given up their souls. Their rotting appearances match that of their dark, twisted spirits within their bodies. We have strong psychic talents which extend to empathy, telepathy, elemental manipulation and limited matter manipulation as well as accelerated healing and enhanced senses. Among our specific bloodlines are the Dubrinsky, Savage, De la Cruz, Daratranzanoff, Justicano, my own bloodline as the only Malinov who hasn't turned, and my husband's as one of the six or seven surviving Dragonseekers," she said quietly as she touched Adrian's shoulder, feeling his body trembling slightly. She knew the young man had smelled keenly Lillian's blood but was impressively able to restrain himself which was a very good thing as one of the few things that could turn a Karpatii to a vampire was killing while feeding. She herself could smell keenly the girl's blood as could her lifemate and husband though both of them had considerable restraint.
