Admittedly the Nergal hadn't at all counted on this being Marosa's reaction to his touch. It was difficult enough, making the will saves against the avalanche of emotion...this...this was a bombardment on all of his defenses. Stunned and breathless, he quite forgot, for a moment, that the proper course of action would be to mount some sort of defense against his best friend's incursion.
It felt as though fireworks were going off somewhere in his core.
Pulling back from the kiss he was about...55% sure he had participated in, the Nergal touched two fingers to the fey boil's lips. "Hoooo. You, sirrah, are a hard one to quit, I see."
And the blond wrapped an arm about the slight demon's waist, pulling the winged male flush against him, a clever ploy...as he then ducked to one knee, pulling Marosa over his shoulder and straightening as quickly as he was able. Now that he was carrying the other he could put an end to this nonsense. Or at least the outward symptoms.
With a ponderous inhale, he then turned, without missing a beat, to his ghoulfriend, trying not to look too long and hard on the expression that was most likely on her features. "This happens sometimes. It's a condition." That was...about as straight-faced as he could muster. Yep.

All unasked questions were put on pause as another great beast rose from the ground to rain terror and violence upon them. Hadiyya had been expecting it, but still she'd given a startled cry as those long claws unfurled and began swiping at their classmates and friends. Just as before though, the gathered students and those that were there to protect them had managed to bring the beast down, with her dear Sharra delivering the final blow.
Sadly though, it wasn't the recently fallen beast, nor the worry of another that twisted her stomach into uneasy knots. It was the interactions between her nergal and the fae boil that inspired anxiety within her.
The delicate frown was back as she watched them talk, picking up words here and there that were not at all comforting. Each time her boilfriend turned back to glance her way he'd find the unhappy expression 'pon exotic features more and more unhappy, and quite steadily growing in suspicion. With their history, what they'd only so recently been able to move past, it was woefully easy for the nergal to p***k at the djinn's emotions.
She understood very little of what was going on. Only that the bewinged boil hadn't fed properly and Sharra was worried. Then he'd reached out and touched him, palm to his cheek, and Hadiyya couldn't help but notice the change that befell the nergal boil. She didn't like what was happening, not at all. Never before had she ever felt stirrings of jealousy, she'd never had a need for them, but they were there now.
And they were certainly there as Marosa leaned in and stole a kiss from her boilfriend. A kiss that was not entirely unreturned.
That was it, the djinn had had enough. Three long strides had closed the distance between them, and she'd reached out to tear the two about when SHarra had stepped back himself to turn and reassure her that all that was happening was mundane. The marid glowered at him, angry now as she hadn't been since she'd walked him walking back to school from the huanted house some months back.
"This happens?" She asked, gesturing between them to indicate the kiss. There as a fine hiss to the ghoul' words, but her voice was low. There was a crowd around them, and she had no intentions of airing dirty laundry in front of the entire school. "If this happens sometimes, then we are in need of a talk, Sharra. Badly." IT wasn't often the djinn got truly angry, but when she did she wore it well. Glowing eyes were blazing.

It was pretty much inevitable that the Lotus Eater would tap out, and face the repercussions of the trifecta of being very high, terribly wounded, and dodging death three or so times. It must have happened near the end of her last attack that she'd just faded off to the side to watch, fully confident her friends and peers had this covered.
She was extremely happy to note that she was right.
And, now that she'd rested a little, she was (though still pretty high) more or less feeling happier. She used this opportunity to spy Muka spying on a trio of ... well, whatever was going on over there, Mar was pretty certain it was none of her business.
So she used his focus to attempt to creep up on him for a tackle-hug from behind.

Sin was still crouched low her legs quivering under her, Jack damn but she felt drained, still she managed a glare for Zeek and Zevael. What in Jacks name had they been doing?! She'd heard Zeek say something that sounded suspiciously like they were HELPING that creature. She was considering going over and giving them as swift a kick as she had for the yellow eyed thing that had been rising back up,if she could just stand. She took a deep breath and her wings gave a few hard beats as she managed to push off the ground with her arms and get shakily to her feet. Her wings folded against her back again and she brushed off trying not to look as shaky as she felt. Luckily Professor Selene seemed to have the two boils in hand so she was able to turn her attention partially away, she still didn't trust them.
Her eyes fell on Yaya and her lips twisted up in the flicker of a smile, she hadn't been able to even greet the other ghoul properly with what was happening. They weren't friends per-say but Sin liked the djinn and wished they could be. Then again having more close friends to worry about wasn't really a good idea while under this onslaught. Still she noticed Sharra and…the kiss…but wasn't Sharra Yaya's boilfriend? Her eyes went wide in confusion and then narrowed when she saw Yaya's anger through her body language. She was too polite to interfere directly but she did walk closer and give Sharra a look.
"Those creatures might be back again soon…I'd suggest vigilance now and…other concerns later…don' worry Yaya I'll watch your back." She turned her frown from Sharra and gave Yaya a slight reassuring smile.
Jack, she knew how enraged she would be, far less calm and able to moderate her tone than Yaya if she caught Rosc kissing anyone. Which wasn't exactly fair of her because she knew kissing was used for a lot of different things...but still it was the principle of the thing. She flicked her hair back and tried not to dwell on the thought, they had bigger problems at the moment, hopefully not literally bigger...they kept coming back bigger.
Sin looked back to the gates her breath coming in slow steady pulls, she would have held it if she thought it would keep more of those things from materializing from the ground, the shadows, around the gate, everywhere and anywhere.

Muka was so engrossed that he was easily attacked from behind. He jumped, flailed, and feathers flew everywhere. Eventually it just lapsed into manic giggling as his head spun around to see who it was.
"Oooh!" He grinned and bumped his large head against Amarus' since he could hardly hug her with the ghoul hanging on his back. "How are you, oh warrior ghoul?"
His head turned back to peer at the domestic confrontation. Another head turn to Amarus and he 'whispered', "Trouble in paradisse! hee!"
"Paradise, dear vicious feathered companion?" she asked, attempting to follow his gaze at the group. She smiled wickedly. "You know... I could go bleed all over them. It is hard to fight when you are high. Maybe they would all, ah, learn to ... get along?" Amarus suggested, her silver eyes glinting.
She was clearly talking about something inappropriate. Again. Amarus had been exposed to way too much Lotus Essence, and looked forward to sleeping this off. She was utterly reluctant to let go of Muka; he was kind of comfy. "...If you'd like me to disembark, I may need some assistance," she admitted, once she realized she wasn't entirely sure how to get off his back.

"If you are injured.. I can carry you!" The ghost was hardly a weight to the monster boil. He even shifted and shook until she was settled right in the center of his wings, where his shoulders dipped into a bit of a fluffy crevice. "I do not mind." He was also sure Needle didn't mind him helping an injured friend.
At her suggestions about the trio they were observing, the owl simply snickered more. With his keen hearing he'd taken in enough of their conversation to feel slightly informed. "I have a feeling theres a bit of aaaah.. high.. going on already. I wonder what happens if you mix them!?"
Shun had just about been ready to continue on, once he was back to his feet, but there was no need for this as a couple of others went on to finish it off instead. Feeling a sense of relief, he dropped back down to his knees, just trying to take some time to recover. He was battered and worn down, and he really hoped that was the last of it now.
Of course, then two students had to go off... one was crying about it? Furrowing his brow, he watched them, only to see the fact that they had actually revived the damn thing.
The creature was dealt with quickly, but the Reaper was still very unhappy with the two. Given his current state, his tolerance level for such things were not all too great. Not really caring that Selene was approaching them right now, he shadowstepped over towards Zeek to reach out and try to slam him to the ground.
"What the hell did you think you're doing?" he asked sharply, though lowly.

Yes, sir. This scenario had played out far better in Sharra's mind. He was still rolling will saves, after all, and his ghoulfriend's own torrential downpour of emotions (which he could hardly blame her for), was causing him to take a few penalties to those checks. It was hard not to look at Marosa, dwell on the clown-car of emotions that was currently screeching and honking and doing circles inside him....considering he'd just plopped the fey on his shoulder, it wasn't like the boil was running off. Yep. This problem was going nowhere fast.
Kids these days.
As the Djinn scolded him, Sharra cringed, bracing his shoulders slightly, as though the words came as a physical blow. "We are going to talk about it!" He hissed back, "We were going to talk about it before! I swear, this was not exactly the way I wanted you to meet my best friend. " The Nergal demon was acutely aware of those around them now. Most notably Sin and Muka. Sin who was glaring, Muka who...
....all right that was a touch unsettling.
He couldn't blame either of them, mind. This wasn't precisely something that he'd wanted to do in public. "This." His lips set themselves into a thin, unhappy line. "Is why you've got to feed more often, bro. Things don't get sussed in a civilized fashion otherwise." The demon patted his captive.
"I'm sorry, Yaya. It's like I have the butterfly gymnastics performing a routine inside my stomach right now." Somewhere inside his mind it seemed like a good idea to be honest with her. "This effect he has on people is temporary, it gets really bad if he doesn't feed via touch. So it's his fault, but it's also not his fault, and as for him latching onto me...well, that one's mine, a bit, I guess...I didn't realize..." An exasperated sigh as he scrambled to put words together. "I promised Marosa that if something happened I'd chase him down if I had to." The delicate details of that situation, he'd keep as private as possible. He'd tell the djinn all she wanted to know, but there wasn't a further need to make a spectacle of themselves. They'd already done a fine job.
"So can we...just..." He took in a shaky breath, trying to calm himself, "Focus. Yeah. Can you...help me focus...?" The last thing he needed was to be with Marosa unsupervised just now, if only because of the aftereffects it would likely have on the fey AND his ghoulfriend should anything happen. The redhead would blame himself, and his ghoulfriend would likely explode and kill the whole lot of them.
"Though if you wanna go...hang out with Sin instead of me I won't fault you." Ghouls had their own version of the bro code, after all.
Brows furrowed as he regarded the djinn, "I-I'm entirely sorry." He'd take responsibility for this disaster, but so help him, Marosa was going to have round two of the 'Sharra shake 'n' lecture' after this was over. That and the emotions on steroids weren't going to let him relinquish the slight fey demonling any time soon.
He was a deplorable boilfriend.
Doghouse, Sharra. Dooooooooghouse.

Muka perked when Mot inquired. He somehow enjoyed having a little info for people, the act of gossip was too much fun.
"Well.." His eyes blinked unevenly. "The spikey boil was with Yaya but then the faerie wings boil came over and he and the spoikey boil kissed.. Something about feeding.. and the effects.." He made a hooting 'oooooooh' sound. His hearing was keen, some of the best, but it didn't mean he fully understood it all.
Wonderful. Despite her attempts to keep her voice low enough to not draw attention to their lovely little situation, somehow they'd managed to draw an audience. Not that the djinn bothered to pay the spectators any mind, save Sin, whom recieved a somewhat strained smile and nod of gratitude.
She couldn't just let what had happened drop though, not after everything she and Sharra had gone through as of late. Shadows be damned, she would not stand out and pretend she hadn't just witnessed her boilfriend kissing another boil. She very much wanted to know why, if he was supposed to be Sharra's best friend, she had never met this boil before. Nothing good came to mind. Only ugly thoughts that made her suspicions all the stronger.
The sudden comment on the nergal's stomach made the ghoul blink, and it was an odd enough thing to say that it managed to disrupt her seething anger enough for her to listen, truly listen, to what he was saying. She wasn't entirely sure she believed everything he was telling her, and those glowing, narrowed eyes snapped up to the boil that was still draped over the nergal's shoulder.
They snapped back to meet acidic green at the request for help, and the djinn actually released a growl before sighing. "Fine." He wan't her help, he'd get it. "Put him down, now." Friends or not, Sharra and her had been together far longer then this boil had been around. Whatever the nergal owed him, whatever promises he'd made. Didn't she come first? Wasn't she supposed to be the most important thing to him?
The thought of simply walking away from him was a promising one. She could certainly use the distance right that moment, but at the same time she did not trust this Marosa to be anywhere near Sharra without her there.

There was something interesting, she could tell by the way a few voices carried in the air (or well, maybe two interesting things happening) and she was obviously missing it by staring at the sky instead of all of them.
It took a little bit of effort, shaky limbs she didn't realize she had to roll over and push herself to a seated position. Olivia hadn't mustered up enough to get herself to her feet just yet but if they were going to be here a little while longer (especially with a show) then sitting didn't seem all too bad an option.
Olivia set her eyes on as many targets as she could, without having to move her head too much. And watched. OuO

Mot cringed at Muka's enthusiasm, his posture shrinking into meekness. "I don't... think we should be watching a lover's quarrel... b-because... it isn't proper..."
But Mot knew. He knew others did not share his moral compass.
"um.." He flustered, scratching his cheek and averting his gaze.
AH SHUN WAS ATTACKING SOMEONE!
Mot sputtered a sound of surprise and ran over to him, grabbing his shoulder back. "Shun, what are you doing?" He asked in a hushed but harsh whisper.
