Kaori looked up at her brother and gave him a slight smile. She was not proud of her freak out, but at least she knew her brother was supportive of anything that could potentially happen. She took a deep breath before she patted his hand in thanks, "Thank you. I know that we make the impossible happen, but this is far from a battle that can be fought and won easily, or an enemy to dispatch. Honestly I'd prefer that, war and battles are easier and more straightforward." Kaori turned and hugged her brother for a moment. It was heartwarming to know her brother supported her, since he was all the family she had left. She sighed softly and released Iwao, "Matters of the heart are far more complicated. And it is more so when you have to deal with titles."

Iwao smiled slightly when Kaori turned and hugged him, hugging her tight. When she released, he sighed a bit too, “Trust me, I know, sis…..bears may be mostly solitary, but I’m not a full-out bear, I know how lonely it can get. The same way people might call favoritism on you if Kaz were to get some big mission would probably be thrown at me if someone I was with got the same thing, because I’m your advisor. Hell, I bet some people gave you a hard time about making me your advisor instead of one of the older shinobi, since I’m only a jounin.” Iwao would then make a small chair out of iron sand from the gourd on his back and sit down to be at eye level with Kaori, “The point I’m trying to make is, you have to do what you feel is right, and what makes you happy. The people in the village that trust and respect you won’t question it, and those that don’t…..can be fed to Grym and Nova, we don’t need them around anyway.” The big man would then chuckle a bit, smiling a little more. Grabbing Kaori’s arm, he’d pull her into another big hug for a few seconds, scratching her hair a little with his claws trying to comfort her.
"Disturb my desert, and the desert itself will feast on your blood!"

Kaori grumbled when Iwao sat and was still eye level with her, where he got his height she would never know. But he was right, as usual, if she were dating Kaz, and gave him a mission that she knew only he could handle, others would claim favoritism. She relaxed slightly when Iwao scratched his claws through her hair, it had never failed to calm her as a child, and it was still a weakness that her baby brother exploited shamelessly when he felt he could get away with it. "I'll see where this can take Kaz and I. But I want us to be happy, and I want you to find someone. I know Grym likes to bug you about having cubs he can spoil." Nova perked her head up and stared at her tamer and Iwao, "Cubs? Are you or Iwao finally giving me and Grym cubs to play with and spoil?" Kaori groaned and hid her face in her brother's shoulder as she mumbled not nice things about her partner.

Iwao would chuckle a bit as Kaori stood there grumbling, then calmed down as he scratched her head. When she finished, he smiled, his fangs showing easily, “Good, I don’t want you thinking that just because you’re the Kazekage that you can’t do something that would make you happy….and you aren’t the last line of defense for the village, WE are. You may rule in the oasis of the village, but the desert is mine, and you know it.” He grunted slightly, nodding, “Yea, I hope I can find someone too… but most females seem to see my massive size, claws and fangs and get scared. As much as you complain about being short, it’s rough being a giant too.” He chuckled a little, then when he heard Nova’s excited interrogation about one of them having cubs for her and Grym to play with, he slapped himself in the face, dragging his claws lightly down as Kaori buried her face in his shulder and muttered a bunch of mean things about Nova. Iwao looked over his shoulder at the large tiger, growling low, “Not now, Nova…..” he said, still scratching Kaori’s head lightly.
"Disturb my desert, and the desert itself will feast on your blood!"

Kaori shook her head at Iwao and Nova going back and forth, because Nova didn't let up, once she got on something, she tended to attack it with a single-minded focus that would be admirable if not directed at yourself."Drop it Nova. Besides, we've had this conversation, human children are too small and fragile for you to play with until they're at least seven." If Nova's face was capable of it, Nova would have been pouting. She huffed at them and patted Iwao's shoulder before she stood up fully and ran her hand through Iwao's hair, lightly scratching his scalp like he had hers, "Seriously, thank you Iwa. I don't know what I'd do without you."

After going back and forth with Nova for a minute, Iwao looked back at Kaori as she stood, him grinning as she scratched his head, and thanked him for helping her, smiling softly as he stood to tower over her again, “It’s nothing, Kay-chan, just doing my job as both your advisor and younger brother. Making sure you don’t make any foolish mistakes, whether they be political, or personal. Though I must say, we’d probably have more, and stronger, shinobi if I wasn’t around… because you would probably have run us into a lot more wars by now.” The giant jounin would laugh a bit, sticking his tongue out at his tiny sister slightly before scooping her up into a quick hug and setting her back on her feet, “I’m just kidding, of course, Kay. But I’m happy to help anytime.”

Kaori smiled slightly at her brother and shook her head,"I am fully capable of not going to all out warfare on my own, thank you very much." She said playfully, then shook her head and looked toward the door to her office, worry in her eyes, "Iwa... Could you do me a personal favor and check on Kaz? I'm worried for him, if I lot it... I can only imagine how badly he's taking this." Never mind that it was technically Kaz's choice in the first place, trying to be the noble one. She sighed softly and looked over at the shattered lotus,"I have some cleaning up to do before anyone other than you sees that I had a fit."

Iwao stood there listening to Kaori as she spoke, he could hear the worry in her voice. When she asked him to go check on kaz, he nodded, “Sure thing, Kay-chan, I’ll go look for him.” He then glanced over at the shattered crystal lotus by the wall, “Don’t worry, sis, I’ll get that cleaned up for you too.” Just then the sand in Iwao’s gourd would start to fall away, forming a thin wedge which moved to scoop and gather up all the shards of the crystal lotus into a ball of iron sand. Iwao would then clench his fist quickly and the crystal would be pulverized to nothing within the iron sand before the whole thing went to reform into the gourd. Iwao would then smile at his sister, “See you later, Kay-chan.” Je’d say as he dissolved into the stone floor of the office to leave the building. (exit)

Kaori sighed softly and watched as her brother left her office. She shook her head and bit her lip as she looked at Nova. She stood up and looked around, then created a clone to stay in the office. "Watch the office for me please. If Kaz or Iwao return, let them know that I'm going to the hot springs to relax for a while. They are both welcome to join me." The clone nodded. Kaori motioned for Nova to join her as she left the office.

This was it. Sadayo had arrived at the Kazekage's tower to at last receive her shiny new headband, or in her case, she intended for such mark of achievement to serve as a rather fashionable new belt piece. It'll be gorgeous, she thought, slightly awestruck. Sadayo has never seen the Lady Kazekage, not up close, at least.
The anticipation was to finally receive her official symbol, proving she's a dedicated Sand shinobi, was nearly enough to motivate her to leap over a chasm somewhere. Bad idea, really, after she realized what she was thinking. Never-mind, just be at the ready and don't start any victory dances just yet. Why, Lady Kazekage may secretly have some bad news for me- I may have actually failed- I may have secretly done something illegal- I- stop! Sadayo thoughts finally ceased the wild race of false illusions. Just knock on the door. I could all ready be training by now, just knock on the door.
Sadayo would reach out to knock on the Kage's office door.

The clone of Kaori looked up at the knock on the door, it obviously want Iwao or Kaz, which she knew would disappoint the real Kaori if she knew, but she was so the Kazekage, and as such had duties, "Come in and state your purpose."

She opened the door as the voice, of who she could only assume was Lady Kazekage, instructed. For a moment, Sadayo was applauded by the finely kept indoor garden, but she quickly spoke: "I am newly appointed Genin, here to claim my headband, ma'm. I'm Sado- Sadayo Soga." she cleared her throat, feeling a bit embarrassed to fumble her own name. "Pardon, butterflies" she said through a breathy chuckle and gently closed the door behind her."It's Sadayo."She would add, taking a few steps from the doorway. Sadayo bows her head long enough to imply a respectful gesture and to take a second to settle her nerves.

The clone smirked slightly and watched as the genin fumbled on her name, if she were in a more playful mood she would probably have poked and prodded at the genin to try and get her to relax and shape up a bit. She wouldn't last in Suna long with a shy attitude. The clone nodded and pulled out a headband from the drawer they were kept in, "Welcome to the ranks of Sunagakure shinobi, Sadayo. Train hard, life in Suna is not easy, or for the faint of heart, we are to be as tough as the desert, and as fierce as a sandstorm. Remember this, and you will do well. Also let it be known that we are currently allied with Kumogakure, so unless it is friendly spars, no engaging in battle with them. You are to treat a Kumogakure Shinobi as if they are a Suna. Any questions?" Kaori asked as she set the headband in the desk.

Sadayo once more could feel like herself. Her promise to achieve Genin rank was true. A word as simple word as 'happy' wasn't enough to describe the extensive, profound emotion she had to bottle up in a dignified setting such as a Kage's office. She would raise her head attentively and nod."Thank you."Her voice held a strong and unwavering tone. The Kazekage's words, if anything, were of utmost truth concerning a sand shinobi. "Without question,"she agreed. "How else could I eventually prove I'm gonna' be the best puppeteer of my generation." Sadayo would trail off into a breif, warm laugh. "But, in all seriousness, I acknowledge our standings with Kumo and allow your words will be root for the rest of my hard-work." Sadayo advances steps further, approaching the desk to accept her headband. Her palm felt cool to its cool metal surface.

The clone nodded at the new Genin and motioned to the door, "I'm sure you have a lot of training you wish to get done, don't forget that there is a missions board if you wish to earn a little Ryo and gain some experience as a shinobi. Welcome to the ranks, Sadayo."
