She laughed. “Charges you right up, huh? Then I’ll make sure to pat your head more often. I hope you don’t mind.” Tarot looked at Matt and gave him an appreciative nod. “Helped? That’s great.”
Then there was a Tex and May. “Hey!” Tarot happily waved to them both. Perhaps May might notice a certain red and purple bracelet tied around the ghoul’s wrist. It was only when Westhor began to mention making love that she noticed the two of them were holding hands. She smiled. How sweet. Although it looked like the elemental was ready to tear up. “Um, Westhor. Are you okay?”
Tarot paused as she sniffed the air. She smelled smoke. What the..The reaper looked around and stared at all the fire with a blank expression. Oh…okay. She looked at the group then back at her table. Yeah, she should definitely put out that fire. Calmly, the reaper walked over to the table and pulled off the cloth, letting the cards and props clatter to the floor as she put the tablecloth down and stamped out the fire. Yeah. That would work. She fixed up her table again. It didn’t look too bad.
Then she hurried back toward the others. “Managed to put my booth out! How about everyone else?”

This was proving impossible. Macthor was ready to flip a table, but unfortunately for him, they were all on fire.
At the very least, he was glad that the booth itself was fire proof, but as for everything else...

"Areeeeelllll~" Cricket half-sing-songed as she looked for the Ice Demon, kicking over a few rocks that weren't even the size of her hand to check underneath them, just to be certain, before she continued on to try and find the boil's table.
"Arel?" she again looked underneath a lot of debris for the ice demon - not very hard, but it was the thought that counted, right?

More desperate flailing hurriedly ensued. He didn't have much on his booth but what he did have he kind of wanted to keep. It was important!
He even tried flapping his wings, maybe it would blow out like party candles. But no. Apparently flapping air at fire only made it burn even harder. Who knew?

The yeti monster was starting to frown because he couldn't find his minipet. He paused thinking he'd heard squeaking from the teapot. "GEORGE!?" He summoned a snowball to put out the fire dumping snow all over his booth.
Before scrambling for the snow covered teapot. "George!?" He opened the teapot which was the only thing not completely destroyed. Finding an unconscious mouse, "Wake up george, please wake up."
Maybe he shouldn't've slammed the snowball on the table like that.... oops.

Oh no, oh no. She could see the edges of her papers starting to turn black and crumble, and was that a flame licking up the side of her display dress? She cried out and tried desperately to put out the flames but they just weren't relenting.

When Callie said color, she didn't mean fire. Sin wasn't the only one flailing now. Two people with paper properties weren't well-equipped to handle the heat, but somehow the demon managed to put his out before too much damage was done. "Phew," she sighed, her papery skin rustling with anxiety at the close call. "Where'd that -"
And then she noticed the fiery colors were not just restricted to Sin's booth, but to most of the others as well. Including her own. She gaped at the spark of flame at the base of her stand, shrieking.
"SON OF A JACKDAMNED BANSHEE WHORE!"
But she could shriek all she wanted, the fire would continue. Yet she was rooted to the spot, struck dumb by the sudden onset of heat. Everythign was supposed to have been . . . perfect.(( Turn 1 ))

Dis pulled back with a smile, acting as if she'd stabbed him in the heart. "Ah! The heated passions of my desire shot down with an ice cold arrow. You wound me sweet Pyre." Still, he'd be a fool to give up so easily. "But I think I can handle a little ice burn. You're hotter than hot, in a lot of good ways." He leaned into her, face getting rather close to her neck. "You're a woman of class, hardly a whore, never say such things dear fire bird." The others around her got a wink. He totally was gonna get some. Totally.

She finally got the fire to die down, but her booth looked horrible. Her pretty white dress was charred and probably a couple inches shorter than it had been before the flames. Not to mention she was missing a few design sketches that she put out. All that work, just to go up in flames.
"Auuuuuuuuugh!" She stamped her foot on the ground, entire frustrated.

"Hey Babe, come sit in my booth over here. It's nice and fireproof, ehhhh?" d**k suggested of his huge stone fortress of a booth. No seriously, he'd petrified the entire thing and it was like a bomb fire shelter for real.

Norvegicus glanced about the chaos erupting from the booths around him, fire licking at the sky and smoke filling the fairgrounds and gave a long sigh of relief.
At least he wasn't the only one having problems with booth quality.
And at least this time the explosions were not his fault.
He beamed and sparkled.
"Looking good, friends!"
He thought about finding a fire extinguisher, but then had better ideas. They could put it out... WITH SCIENCE.
Time for a new Rube Goldberg.
