By the time Cane had come out of his room Roda was asleep, though, sleeping with her eyes open made her look awake. She didn't even wake when he left, which she would have gone with him if she had. She woke up only a bit later, and slunk to one of the girls room, leaving her half eaten ice cream in the doorway of Canes' room. It was quiet in the house as she got in her sleep for the day. She didn't sleep very much, mostly because she was a night person and a demon. The night was were she usually spent most her time, but with the mission of going to the Human world she was told to try and sleep during the night for a while so she could stay awake through school.
Roda awoke sometime later, to the bellowing of Cane for her to come see him. Her eyes opened slowly as she reached for were an alarm clock would have been, till she realized that she was sleeping on a floor pillow in one of the rooms. She stretched her feet and toes, then went into stretching her whole body in a few motions. Roda go up from the floor and wiped the droll from her mouth and went out of the room and down the hall to Canes' room. Passing the bathroom she found her way to Canes door, her eyes still tired, but now she wouldn't sleep for sometime to come."Yes?" she called coming into Canes' room still rubbing her eyes.

It made Nina happy that she was alright. Cause if something was actually wrong, of course she would want to know. Cause then she could come up with something to make it better. "When you cook, huh? Well that seems peaceful. And yes..." she said as she took a strong waft of the chicken she was cooking, "It smells delicious." When a knock came from the door, Nina paused, and turned the heat down on the chicken before walking quietly to the window as Patience went to answer the door. She looked out to see the man from before gone. Hmm. Bummer... I wonder... she thought before looking to see who was at the door, but she couldn't see because Patience closed the door behind her as quickly as she opened it. "I guess I'll just stay here and wait and see."she said with the smallest of blushes. She finished the chicken and walked over to the table to place each piece on each plate. As she did, she looked up to see the door open and the man from the rooftop walk in. Her eyes went wide for a moment before realizing she was loosing her grip of the pan. She strengthened her grip once more on it and caught it, but not without receiving a small burn on her left hand. She stayed quiet though as Patience walked into the kitchen. She finished with the chicken and looked over at the man, the blush returning. She turned towards the oven to hide it and placed the pan back down. Then she asked Patience, "Need any help with dessert?"╚══════════════════════════════════════╝◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦   But he’s gonna leave you - cryin' -

Cane had put his mouth together in a weird way. Umm... Okay, I locked the fridge up and I ain't supposed to feed you, but I got you these. Cane had actually stopped by the grocery store, his face slightly contorted, his face mixed between a few emotions, like confused,awkward, and apologetic. He handed Roda a small box of candies. Cane then nodded at her once more. Sorry. Again. he told her before he laid on his bed, laying his long legs across his bed, Cane's blood red hair covering his face. Patience smiled. "Ahh, you guessed correctly." she said walking into the kitchen. Chi-Lan nodded her head. "Yes why don't you set up the smores while I get the cookie dough so they are ready to be wrapped." she said as she got a big scooping spoon and began to get giant balls of dough with chocolate chip all over it.
She let out a sigh and saw a piece of dough on her finger. She licked the dough off and wiped her hands with a napkin. "These are going to come out good." she said softly. "Kindness, if you don't mind would you offer our guest a drink?" she said handing her a cup of water.

Nikolai was casually glancing around the room, checking out the decor, when suddenly his blue haired beauty waltzed right into the room and began serving food out onto table. At first he was taken back, a bit speechless, as she looked much cuter and more beautiful up close, and the girl seemed just as shocked to see him. Suddenly the girl began to drop the pan, but quickly caught back onto it. "are you allright?" he asked starting to get out of his chair to help her, but she had disappeared back into the kitchen before he could get an answer, though he did notice a small flash of pink on her cheeks. "oh my...so bashful, and even a little bit clumsy...I can't believe it she acts just as cute as she looks" he thought slowly sitting back down, his mind cluttered with thoughts of her cuteness, both pure and otherwise.
"man I need to calm down...try to focus on something else or I'll blow my whole cover" As much as he would like to think otherwise, his "admiration" for cute things was much more like a fetish in its intensity, and it was starting to seriously mess with his ability to function. "ok ok focus...dinner...right yeah your really hungry...so focus on that" he told himself looking down at the chicken alfredo. "chicken.....well isn't that ironic" he thought wondering if this was all some elaborate dream and he was still sleeping at his teacher's desk back at school. sighing he took a fork full and slowly raised it to his mouth. Unfortunately, in what was seeming like a pattern today, the second the food got within an inch of his lips the girl walked back into the room, and seeing her caused him to drop his fork back onto his plate. "smiling so innocently while blushing....." he began to think. Fortunately he managed to catch himself before his mind went on a tirade. "u-um...sure" he said blushing as he reached out to grab the cup of water. However as soon as he grabbed it he noticed the burn on her hand. Immediately he put the cup down and grabbed her hand, his blush gone, replaced by a look of nurturing concern. "oh no you burned yourself. It was because I came in so suddenly and distracted you right?....I'm sorry" he said closing his eyes and gently blowing on her hand, hoping to sooth the burning sensation.
"but when done righteously it is a chore, just like any other"

Her first reaction would have been to pull back, but something was keeping her calm. "Well, to tell you the truth," she started quietly, "I didn't expect the man who I'd just seen sitting on the roof next door to come over for dinner." She smiled nervously, her cheeks the same pink. "It'll be alright," she told the man, watching him try to help her burn. The air was helping a little, but she was sure that a little water could help too. She didn't want to pull her hand from his, for the contrast between her warm hand and his cold one was simply wonderful. It felt fantastic. Chastity looked up at Temprence who held a bag of marshmellows.Chastitys lip trembled when he asked for her to forgive him.she stood up and hugged him."im so sorry for making you lose your temper...i shuld have been more carfull.."she said befor looking up at him and smiling sadly."im so sorry...."then she sat down and put some marshmellows into her take out hotchocklet container.then she stood up and grabbed the cake she had bought. she held both her hot chocklet and the cake with one arm and then she used her other had to grab Temperances hand."we shuld be geting back shuldent we...they must be worrieing about us..."she said and smiled up at Temperance.he was defently her big brother, no questions asked."will you forige me?"she asked as her and temperence made there way home.

Roda came all the way into Canes' room and took the box of candy from him. "Thank you..." she said turning from him so that he wouldn't see her blushing. She turned around and flopped down onto his bed, "Cane I'm sorry I was mean to you earlier." she whispered quietly the blush on her face rising, which she would never want Cane to see knowing that he would never let her live it down. The good part was that it was dark in Canes' room so the chance of him seeing her blushing was low, except for the fact that the moon light came in through his window in blue streaks. She liked Cane, but she could never admit that, not even to herself. She looked at him, the blush on her face now less then before, he looked like he was trying to sleep or ignore her. "Sorry..."
