Travis looked at the new girl curiously. She didn't seem to be much of a talker.
"Your wings look nice," he said, trying to make small talk. "They frame you well when they fold around. I just ended up with big feet and a pouch." He shrugged.

Ayame giggled slightly as she looked over at Travis and smiled as she walked over to him being careful of her expanding belly and smiled as she looked down at him " actually kangaroos are one of my favorite animal." Ayame said smiling at him

"Th-they are?" Travis blushed at the unexpected compliment. "Well, I have to admit they're growing on me, too..." He winced. What a lame pun. He looked back up. "Are you still growing? Maybe you should sit down until it stops." He turned to grab a chair, nearly knocking over a table with his tail.

"Wow really! I bet you're very good at it too! Have you thought about selling your knitting?" he asked popping some candy into his mouth. He was glad to hear her talking a bit more positive and cheerful. Stopping he looked at Travis and Ayame and he smiled happy they could possibly share some things in common too.
"Would you show me sometime? I would love to see you knit." he blushed shyly.

Lana smiled. "Maybe you can something. But I left my things at home..." she flinched "At my father's house." she ammended. "I was working on a blanket last time I did. It harder than I thought to knit something so big, but it was an interesting challange." she said. "I'm not good at selling things. Last time I trying I ended up giving it away for free." she said with a nervous laugh.

"Hey..." he said giving her a look of compassion when she mentioned her father. "Well you could always travel with me. I wouldn't mind having someone to talk to. I could help you find your own place..a place to call your home no matter what people say! Your father is wrong. What kind of man says something like that to his daughter! If you were my daughter I would have at least pulled you into a hug and held you comfortingly. Then helped you deal with the change..." snapping out of it he gasped.
"Oh I didn't mean to over step the line! I'm so sorry Lana!" he frowned.

Lana shook her head. "No it's fine. My father was no a compassionate man. he hasn't been for a very long time. In f act he was a cruel man and I'm happy to finally be rid of him." she said with angry shake of her head. To change the subject she switched back to what he had originally been saying. "You know, traveling around would be fun. And exciting change. I'm afriad that might be unlikely soon." she said, gestering to her appearance.

"I'm sorry though...sorry that he was such a cruel man to a beautiful woman like you." He smiled fidgeting a little. When she mentioned change he frowned.
"Don't say that! You're not a monster...never! I think you'd be fun to travel with! We could perform for people! I'm sure eveyrone would just love your voice! If you grow a tail I'll carry you around if I have to! I...just don't want you to feel alone or rejected ever again..." he said sighing sadly.

Lana sighed. A little embarress that this was happening for all to see. She patted Matthew head, where he sat in front of her. "Stop apologzing. He had nothing to do with you." she said patiently "And I wasn't calling myself a monster. I was meerly pointed out the fact that..." she flinched and blushed, "that I might be stuck in a pool pretty soon. Not to mention I hear it's not good for women to travel when they react a certain point." she said, tapping her belly for emphasis. It poked out slightly from her now too small shirt. For all she knew she might be ready to give birth in a matter of days. All of them in this room looked close to giving birth when you considered the rate of growth. Lana hoped that they'd be able to handle all the kids.

"I-I see..." he said blushing a little. Matthew fidgeted a little. Why were her eyes so preatty? Lana looked so beautiful and so motherly sitting there. "Even if you were stuck in a pool..I'd never leave your side..err..uhh..." shaking his head he looked away. What was coming over him? Was she also gaining some enchanting powers too? His mind always seemed to go numb when he looked into her eyes.

Ayame blushed a bit but in turn sat down beside Travis and smiled at him "Its a bit strange for everyone to be pregnant like this...but its nice that most of us who don't have a family or need someone...have someone now." Ayame said yawning softly

Lana looked down at him, shocked by his suddened outburst. She turned bright red agains and covered her face with her hand. She didn't know whether to be irritated with him or flattered. She seemed to be torned in two. Her head saying one and her hear the other and she only ended up confused.

Matthew stood up. He didn't know what to say but didn't care. "I mean it..I'll always be here for you Lana..always. You're too kind of a person to be stuck alone." he said quietly. He was madly blushing though but she was just so beautiful..and kind. Matt could tell because the way she sang expressed the music in her heart.
This would have been the part where he hugged her or something, but didn't respecting her boundries. Though he hoped she didn't mind or worried about what he said.

The kangaroo creature's eyebrows rose. "You... are alone, then? Do you not have a family?"

Lana couldn't help the smile that came to her lips, however shy. She reached out and grabbed his hand. She gave it a gentle squeeze. "Thank you." she said, touched. Lana would have like to stay like that. His hands were warm and gentle. However the itching had started again and she pulled away so she could start scratching her sides.
