"Hello Mr. Tortoise again." Lacie smiled. But recalling the last tortoise that hadn't responded favorably to her fear, Lacie was a bit hesitant. "Perhaps not this time." She let the animal rest, moving along her designated path for something else, perhaps.

She heard the familiar bleating again. For the first time, she narrowed her eyes against the creature. Never again.
She had learned her lesson.

The more she searched further into the jungle, the more she came up with no results. Maybe between the tortoise and the dragon, they had warned all other critters of what she was doing, and they all plotted against her to avoid capture..? Those bastards!

Coming out from behind a bush, Lacie stumbled into a larger creature than she had before. She steadied herself, her hands using a hard scaly body as a support. The reptilian wings shuffled, Lacie tilting her head in question.
A dragon..? "You're.." He looked so very much like Vaith's dragon! She reached out her hand to touch it, stroking it gently. "I know one of your friends." Quote: 5. You find a small dragon waddling through the jungle.

The small dragon couldn't fly just as her last dragon mount couldn't during the trials. The tatzelwurm dragon couldn't jump up and onto the dragon with ease either right now so- Levi used what she had learned from yesterday's class and the evening antics of "practice." Lassoing over the head, Levi dominated was respectful to the dragon. She got herself a dragon mount. Success! (( Levi: 7+3=10-6=4

Growing more irritated by the second, the ghoul glanced over her shoulder, almost sure she had heard something. Scanning the area for any sign of life, she came up with no results and started forward again. This carried on for a good few minutes, before the unexpected--yes half expected--dropped down on her. Falling face first into the ground, Mei grumbled something to herself and rose to her feet, only to come face to face with a jaguar. "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!"

Mounts? Jaaaaack, it was the obstacle course from the tournament all over again, only worse. Moist jungles were not suitable environments for zombies. He passed along the somewhat uneven ground with mild grumbles, keeping his eyes peeled from movement that was exclusive from his multiple pushes against leafy fronds and intrusive branches.
Various sounds echoed about him, but he didn't stop - no, Mort decided, he was just going to keep moving until he ran into something and just go from there. Beggars couldn't be choosers, and he personally wanted to leave the jungle asap.
Unfortunately, fate decided to give him a dragon to contend with first which, now beholden to his personal goal, he was now going to have to tango with.

Alright... how to do this.
Mai faced the dragon fully and did her best to think intimidating. The creature seemed to eye her speculatively. It wasn't convinced, not yet, but it seemed interested anyway.
It was a start, at least.
Mai's result: 8 + 2 = 10 - 6 = 4
Dragon's result: 7 + 1 = 8 - 6 = 2
Success: 1/2

Standing back, Lacie inhaled deeply -- and exhaled. "All right then!" After losing to the the tortoise -- she would try her best this time!
The dragon appeared mildly interested.

The goat stared back at him. It wasn't listening though. It was eating his clothes.
"Really?"
Why was he food for all of these so-called mounts?! Fallow scowled, tail twisting in aggravation as he planted both hands on the goats nose and pushed until they separated. Huffing, he turned, and stomped away. He would not ride a goat.
