Welcome to the guild Lady mewcat. I love your username. It's cute! Lol. Perhaps you might try checking the Request Rp Partners thread, to find other people interested in rping a 1x1 with you. You can also fill out a GRID to let others know what interests you have in rps, and see what interests they might have. Here are some Helpful links for RPing improvementand the brand new Role Play Creation Guidelines to help people learn about how to make better role plays. @Azukiarai: I'm not sure why you're apologising for being active, that sounds like a good thing to me. By all means, go ahead and enjoy role playing here.

I've been trying to forget somethings and well its the only way I can think to do it, without hurting myself *bows* -hugs- It's okay, I do the same thing when I can. If it also helps everyone here is really nice and will talk to you if you need someone to talk to. Everyone here really made me happy when I was having a tough time. biggrin Although im still rather busy busy so its hard to get in some rps at times... ehehehehe sweatdrop

I'm glad to see Siridia getting its own sub-forum. Very nice! I loved that role play idea and would have joined if I wasn't in so many already. Darn. At least I can still read along. biggrin
Also, Star, I wanted to tell you I like your new anime subforum for anime and video game-related role plays. I moved the Chobits Pregnancy Edition RP there which I'm still doing with Shade. It's the first one to christen the thread!
I'd like to see a few more anime-inspired role plays around, though I do love all the original ideas as well.

Thanks Mey, I really don't know why I never made that thread in the first place a long time ago. xP
Man, I wish sometimes I could get someone to draw my characters so I don't have to spend forever on photobucket. Like a few of my characters like Max. Some of them are just different and what you don't see out there. ^^; Meaning, the idea hasn't really crossed people's minds.
I hate the fact that I can't draw well, or have a desire for it. ^^;

I would offer to draw some of them for you but right now I don't think I have time to. I might be able to later on though, if you wanted...^.^ Not that my art is spectacular, but I do like to try to draw characters.
And that's a good thing to have unique and different characters that no one has heard of. That's what you want. It makes them more interesting and diverse. biggrin I love to see characters like that.
Well, someone said to me that you just keep practising and eventually you'll start to draw something that doesn't suck. I am working by this principle at the moment. I figured that we can only learn by making mistakes so I should just go make a whole lot of mistakes and learn as I get feedback. *shrugs* That way, I hope to get better.

Thanks, I hope we can get some people to make roleplays in that thread. I would move it closer to where the other roleplay threads are I just don't know how, or if, you can do that. ^^; If the rp I made in the forum doesn't do anything I'll probably scrap it. Which is sad because it's an idea I've always wanted to see get pretty far. We need a "Roleplay Advertisement" thread or something? Maybe I should make that. ^^ That way people could advertise their roleplays on the front page and people would know about them a bit. :3 Well my problem is I don't want to bug or bother people with asking to draw my characters. That and I don't really have any money to ask. ^^: I've thought about making a thread in the free drawing forums on Gaia but I'm not sure yet. I just don't want to be a pest with it honestly. ^^; I know that's all some people do is beg and beg and beg and pest, I never really wanted to be like that. The thing is, I get more joy out of writing and being creative than drawing. The "anime" style is just kind of too hard for me, but most of the other cartoon styles seem silly. ^^; I used to love drawing, but I think I just lost my urge when I realized no one really cared if I drew or not. ^^; (yet that was on DeviantART so it might be different here.) I also don't have a camera or a scanner, or a computer of my own, so getting artwork up on the internet is kind of impossible for the moment. I wouldn't mind picking it up again, but I don't know if people would even care to see it. ^^; Though I've always wanted to make my own manga/comic for fun. :3

I would make one but I'm already stretched to my limit. If I take on any more, I won't be able to keep up with them. I saw your thread though and I liked the idea. You could always put the RP in the library or save it on the computer in a document to come back to later on, if no one joins straight away.
I don't know. You could create an advertisement thread, letting people know of the newest RPs, most popular RPs, longest page number RPs etc. That might mean they get noticed more.
Hm, well I think if you just posted a search thread stating what you wanted done, that wouldn't be pestering. If artists are interested, they can take a look and contact you. That way, you're not barging into threads and asking for art, you're letting them come to you of their own free will. The only problem is getting the thread noticed. Bumping it to keep it active may help.
And that other thing you said about no one caring. I just think that if you enjoy it, then others will too. But if you don't find it fun, then maybe it is best to focus on pursuing those other interests and coming back to it at a later time. I was going to suggest drawing classes, but I'm not sure how much they cost or if you'd have them in your area. Still, I think there are tutorials online and on DeviantArt that can help practise different things.
Anyway, if you toss any art up in the art subforum on here, I'd be happy to take a look at it and try to give some constructive feedback. I've been meaning to put some new stuff there but I have to actually sit down and draw the art first. Lol.
