C.J. smiled. He wasn't dreaming, she did say yes. Wow, this was turning out to be one hell of a night! He was rather surprised that she did say yes. He usually didn't get to this part even. He was actually prepared to take the "impending" slap across the face when he heard that and relaxed. A look of relief on his face.
"Thanks. That'd mean a whole lot. Any idea what you would wanna do?" the fella asked.

Joker simply smiled. It was the kind of smile that made hyenas stop finding things funny. His hands slowly raised up next to his head and neck. "Oh, you'd need to hire a mathematician, a tax collecter, AND a waitress just to count up all the problems I have. But still, I disagree with your other thought. I reckon we ought to keep this right here." His hand shot to his lapel, and pressed his flower against himself. A gout of green liquid shot out of the flower, at Arell's neck and clothes. The acid compound wasn't strong enough to kill, but it would leave a few good burns on him. Definitely strong enough for an escape.

Joker's acid burned through his shirt, but leave Arell to not realize the stuff got on his bare skin. If he did, he hid pain well. He sheathed the knife to let a sledge-hammer fist fly into Joker's face and then dropping him, the burn now sinking in and searing. Leaving the Cajun kicking himself for not bringing his shotgun with him.

Joker staggered, slid down the wall, and then away from Arell, quickly moving to pick up his Rosie, holding her in one arm. "I'd reccommend checking on your friend. He looks a little... burnt out at the moment. Heh heh..." He used his free hand to grab up Rosie's two bags of candy, spilling a little from both bags from how full they were.

Arell growled. "Dat sombitch gave Vice de ol' Glasgow grin. Doan' worry 'bout me. I'll tend t' Vice. Do me a solid an' bust de hell outta de bigger Joker, dat'd be great." Arell said, working through the pain as he whipped out his cell phone and was about to call an ambulance for Vice. He got down to him. "Vice, you okay, fella?" Arell asked, figuring out his name through some of the others.

The little Joker's attention had been drawn away from her double immediatley after Arell jumped in and pinned Joker against the wall. Her eyes widened and she watched with a paniced expression, keeping her gun on her other half.
When Joker came and picked her up, she wrapped her arms around his neck to make carrying her easier on him. She made sure that she had one arm free to shoot anyone that got too close to him
The little witch didn't bother doing anything to Joker as he got close. She immediately moved towards Vice when the gun wasn't on her any longer.
".....fine...." Vice replied carefully. Hurt to talk.
"Movie sounds good to me." Sapphire replied.

Joker shook his head as he approached the door, making sure that Aiden could still see his little Joker Rosie clearly in the clown's arms. "No, I don't think that's a good idea at all. I'd really hate to have to get all LETHAL around here. I've been doing such a good job of keeping people alive so far."

Arell thought fast. He nodded to Vice as if to say he'd be back to help later. He got to Aiden. "C'mon, che'. We've dealt wit' worse dan a heat packin' kid and a clown. Let's roll!" he said and gave pursuit after the Joker, knife in his hand.
Meanwhile, C.J. smiled, which faded fast when he saw Arell running the Joker down. "Hang on, hon. I'd better help out my friend. Lemme know if you think up which movie ya wanna see, a'right?" he asked, running to catch up with Arell.

Aiden raised his hands in a calming gesture. "Hey, now, fella. Let's all just calm down here, alright? I normally wouldn't mind dislocatin' yer jaw, but I'm not gonna be fightin' anyone around kids."

Sapphire paused when C.J. left, and she looked for what he was running after. She found Joker and his little girl, being followed by the two other men. Her eyes narrowed in on him and she followed after C.J.
Now what did he do while no one was watching?

C.J. just arrived when Arell noticed the person packing the gun wasn't a midget, but it really was a KID.
"Y'all're right. Get outta here, Joker. Jest don't lemme catcha up t' no good again. Rather not make dat pistol-packin' rug-rat ya got an orphan." he said, hocking a loogie and spitting.
"Jesus, Arell! What the hell got into you?!?" C.J. asked "I think that stuff Sapph said about Vice worked. I haven't seen you this mad since that Zombie invasion." he said, shaking his head.
"I went inside t' get my hat and smokes when I saw Vice on de groun' getting himself cut bad by de Joker." Arell growled. Zombie invasion?!? he thought. Little did he know that C.J. referenced a different canon.
