While the others were busy talking among themselves and working hard at the puzzle, Savior was exploring. Her wounds were still open and therefore bleeding, leaving behind a sandy trail of citrus-scented red in her wake. She climbed over furniture, she climbed over anything and everything, and eventually she found her way back over to her companions. They all had the weird hat things on now and West didn't look happy. Levi had been laughing, it seemed that she liked to laugh, and Holly was busy doing work.

If there was a chance that Savior could have felt useless then now was the best of times to feel it, but thankfully her brain couldn't comprehend such things and instead she was content to stand there and watch them all. It's not as though any of them expected her to be useful in any way, shape, form, right? Hoping for Savior to be anything but comic relief was like hoping an undead would come back to life one day - it didn't make sense. She made for good company though and probably a decent form of pack mule.

Plus it didn't help that she was terrifying, not that Savior knew that and could use it to her advantage. ". . . . . No, never minds." Perhaps she had wanted to say something but it didn't last long, and she went back to ruining things.

A small feeling of satisfaction bloomed in West as Levi took a crumb to the eye and he sat back in his ridiculous beanbag with a smirk. At least he didn't laugh. When Holly declared that she was done, the boil leaned forward, bracing his hands on the tiny table and looking over her work.

"I put the bone in the right place," he muttered, pointing at the square on the lower right. He supposed it didn't matter. The rest of his attempt had been completely wrong.

He immediately reached for a couple of the pumpkin tokens scattered around the table and began laying them out on the second puzzle. Even if they were in the wrong place, at least he was first. He had even forgotten all about his crown for a minute.

She grinned at Levi. The puzzles weren't really that hard were they? Compared to the last rooms and all the possible death, she'd take this any day. Oh! A new puzzle. This seemed to be the last one. So possibly solving this new one would free them of this Jack awful room. At least she hoped. Holly looked at the suggestions that Levi made. "Hmm, yeah Levi, that seems like it could work!" Awesome, they were finally getting the hang of this.

The ghoul looked at the random puzzle pieces that West was placing.

... Really? Holly pushed a wrong one off of the board and motioned to a different one. "Well, that one is right. See, the crown is helping you West!" Or so she'd like to think. There, this puzzle was coming along nicely.

Oh, she was definitely going to move that pumpkin now. First, however, she needed to find another spot that required a pumpkin. The tatzel at least had enough sense to not waste the piece if she was going to pick it up and move it. They were supposed to be trying to get OUT of the pink room.

... perhaps West really didn't mind that crown as much as he led on.

The smirk came back. Picking up that same pumpkin, she'd found another spot that seemed correct for needing one. Oh? This one? Don't be movin' this, ya say? Well, sorry 'bout that then~ She set it down in the new square with a toothy grin.

It looked like everyone was done, or had settled into something, so the monster made her way back over and dropped down next to Holly. She looked over at the table and the charts, her head tilted sideways. "Horree." Mostly she wanted to know what was going on but meh, she was also impressed. "So smart. Gewd jaws."

Or she wanted to give an awkward compliment to the nearest person she saw. Close enough.

O-ho. She'd tweaked something in him. Excellent. As long as he was the one starting it, she was fine with playing a little now that the puzzle had been filled out. Abruptly rolling into a crouch off of her beanbag, missing the first two flying stuffed critters. She looked up at him, noting his expression- oh, this is happening alright. She playfully grinned back, showing some shiny whites in the process. He threw hard with a strong arm to him, she'd have to give the demon that much. The difference here was in his speed. She caught the seal in one had, the flamingo in the other, and flickered her tail in front of her to coil around the dismembered head. Squeezing the stuffing out of it, her eyes narrowed at him. Now, what'd this critter ever do ta yew? tsk tsk.

She shook her head; had she not been catching stuffed things in this case, the tatzel admitted to herself that he likely would've bruised her palms from catching the things he threw directly. DARE ya ta try that again, Westus! She flung the battered bumblebee head back at him, following up with the flamingo. Tossing the seal in the air first, the ghoul caught it back in her hand before whipping it as fast as her muscles allowed. It was all in good fun, and she enjoyed the challenge of it. He wasn't going to win this one, nope.

He had been counting on Levi to retaliate, and she didn't disappoint. West took the opportunity to duck behind a... thing... that was probably a chair, but it was so blindingly pink that he didn't think about it for very long for fear of chafing his brain.

When Holly laughed, he popped his head back out of his lame attempt at cover. "Yeah, what of it?" he said, catching a pink blob and a seal with various parts of his face. "Dammit," he muttered, retreating back behind the chair. The boil quickly resurfaced, throwing a giraffe at Holly and a strange tiny plastic man at Levi.

It was difficult to say exactly how long they had been there. "They" being two statues made out of copper, standing on raised pedestals set between two doors. The statues had the bodies of dogs and the heads of lions; they were Fu Dogs. Each one wore a different collar decorated with skulls; one had a collar that was red, the other a sky blue.

Each Fu Dog had one paw raised, resting on a sphere. Or is it a skull? It is difficult to tell. They move, their paws tightening around their treasures as you approach.

"Well met," they greet in unison. "Your trials are almost over, Students of Amityville. What you have gone through is a sample, a mere taste of what is expected of some on a daily basis. But you are not here for that."

They fall silent, looking down and studying each student carefully. The one with the light blue collar speaks first. "Your last trial awaits you. It will not be easy."

"You will get to choose," the red collared one says, "This is a choice for each of you to make."

"Not as a group."

"Not together."

"But individually," the two say in unison gravely. "You may only go through one door. Once you have made your choice and gone through it, you cannot back out."

"The doors are locked for now," the one with the red collar says. "They will unlock when the time is right."

"For now, consider your options," the sky blue collared one says. "You may change your mind before entering, but once you go through a door you cannot return."

The statues fall silent as they exchange a glance with each other. "To determine which door you pick, please tell us...
