When receiving a gift, would you prefer it be a mystery or to know what your getting?

I don't really care if I know or not, but I always find it fun to try and guess what it is, so I'll do with the gift being a surprise.
When recieving a gift would you rather have something expensive bought from a store or something somebody took the time to make themselves?

Depends on what it is...I generally don't like expensive, bought gifts though.
Would you rather celebrate something such as a birthday or holiday with quietly with someone special or would you rather celebrate with a big party with friends and family?

Amusement park...don't really like getting wet and I'm too self-conscious in a bathing suit.

The beach because I love to just lay out in the sun or even go swim in the sea. Also, building sand castles and collecting seashells is fun too.
