I speak my mind...
:。✿*゚‘゚・✿.。.:*.:。✿*゚’゚・✿.。

Rarepaw watched Lostpaw yawn. "Maybe we should head to bed. I'm getting sleepy and we have another big day tomorrow." She suggested. It was also getting pretty dark in the camp, which meant I was late. If they did not sleep soon, they would still be up by the time the medicine cats came back to the camp, which would be bad. She wondered what message or signs Starclan would be giving the clans to help them through this tough time, or to explain why it happened. She hoped it could bring some comfort or answers.

Silversparrow entered camp carrying fresh-kill. She padded over to the fresh-kill pile and dropped two of the three pieces, taking the third one, a mouse, for herself. She kneaded the soft ground with her claws for a moment, deciding on a place to eat. She glanced past Rarepaw and Lostpaw, Griffonsea, Ivoryscale, and Sky, before finding an empty corner to settle down in. Holding the mouse in her mouth, Silversparrow padded over to the corner and settled down to eat her mouse.
After finishing the mouse, Silversparrow began cleaning herself. She licked her paw, looking around the camp. Every other cat was sitting with someone else, sharing tongues.
Sometimes I long for a friend besides Lionpaw. She thought wistfully to herself.

Seaclan Less than a mere second had Sandstripe opened his eyes widely, naturally awake and feeling a perfect chill to his fur. Disoriented was the dark tabby's point of time. He stood on all four, with one being not parallel with the other paw. Regardless, he stretched all of his muscles from front to back, more cautious with the one injured. He winced when the acute pain had unanticipatedly struck. He silenced his breath when he saw Serenepaw sleep so peacefully sound, hearing soft breaths of air at regular intervals. He let out a suppressed purr at the sight and later padded around, trying to exercise his paw. At a distance, Sandstripe could see a cat, one with a mixture of silver-ish colors." Hi, Silversparrow." He meowed with a cheerful tone as he became closer to her, stopping at a good fox-length away." How are you?"

Silversparrow looked up at the golden brown tom. He was one of the few cats in the clan who was friendly to her. "Hi Sandstripe." She meowed, looking up from her grooming. She got to her paws and did a little stretch. Silversparrow looked at him again, realizing he was standing quite a distance away. Maybe not so friendly. But this was normal. Cats didn't really like to be seen with her. "I'm doing pretty good. How about you?" She smiled at him.

Seaclan He lifted his injured leg with effort." I don't know how, but I think I sprained it yesterday." Sandstripe said modestly. He took a few steps closer to her and sat down." I hope it doesn't hinder my hunting." The tom began to lick his matted fur, having just awoken and not much time for personal grooming lately. Turning his head, he had noticed the fresh-kill pile had grew a rather impressive amount, and looked back to Silversparrow with an impressed look." Lucky hunting?" He meowed curiously. His appetite began to grow, looking at it. Unable to suppress himself, he grabbed the nearest prey, a medium-sized salmon. He returned to his current party and sat down next to her." You can have some if you want." He offered the gray-silverish she-cat before taking a few small bites it, savoring every bit of it. By the time he ate almost half, Sandstripe's belly ached in a good way, content for a while. He rested his jaw on his paws." Hey Silversparrow, do you want to go hunting later with me?"

OOC: Ahhhh I'm brain dead today. It's too early.

Silversparrow glanced down at his leg. It was bent at an odd angle and looked awkward to walk on. She hadn't noticed it before. "Oh no." She meowed. "Have you seen Oceanmist about it? It doesn't look too good." She watched as he padded over next to her, took a seat, and began grooming. Silversparrow sat there awkwardly, her cheeks becoming warm. When he noticed the fresh-kill pile, they became even warmer."I was out for a while." The silvery grey she-cat said, shaking out her fur.
When Sandstripe offered her some of the salmon, she took a bite willingly, the mouse seemed very far away. She finished it off after he stopped eating and felt very content, a full belly. She perked her ears up as he spoke and then took a moment to process it. A pawful of thoughts ran through her head all at the same time.
Sandstripe wants me to go hunting with him? Maybe he is a friend. She took a moment to compose herself, before accepting. "Sure Sandstripe." She meowed cautiously. "I'd love to." Silversparrow stood back up and stretched out her stiff body. "Let's go."

Seaclan " Serenepaw took a look at it. She recommended some rest and I think maybe some herbs later. I can really trust her." His tone cheery and tail slightly off the ground. He took note of how her tone was, almost wary. We're clanmates, there's no need to distrust me. Sandstripe wished to say but held his tongue. Sandstripe stood on all four, feeling an awkward pain in his injured paw." Sandstripe, quit acting like a helpless kit." He mumbled incoherently. He stretched his paw, hearing a pop sound." The river is always the best place to hunt for fish but sunrocks has some good shrews and birds." He looked to Silversparrow, waiting for her opinion." Which do you think is a good spot right now?"

"Oh that's good. I hope it gets better." Silversparrow meowed, glancing back down at it. "You'll be okay for hunting?" She glanced up as she heard him mutter something--it sounded like nonsense. She ignored it as he covered up with a stretch of his leg and a question about where to hunt. "Hmmm..." She thought for a moment. She'd already had good luck near sunrocks, maybe they should go to the river. "The river sounds nice." She meowed. "I was at sunrocks this morning and I'm such a klutz, I probably scared off all of the prey."

Seaclan Sandstripe thought about her decision almost lightning-fast, agreeing with it. A craving of fish grew at each passing second, all swimming in the rushing water. He let a mrrow of laughter at her believing she let the prey flee." You probably did." He meowed jokingly. A memory of the clan taking shelter by the River flashed in his eyes, and the safety of one of his clanmates was increasing to be one of his highest priorities." One moment. Is that alright Silversparrow?" Sandstripe quickly padded away, brushing his tail across her flank and then away to near where Serenepaw resided, sleeping. The herbs were finely sorted and enough and some guilt towards the small medicine cat apprentice. I'll see if I can find more herbs for you and Oceanmist. Sandstripe thought as he licked on her ear, an action of affection to one of his closest friends, almost like kin to him. He slowly crept away and trotted back to Silversparrow." Okay, I'm ready to hunt!" The brown tabby walked slowly to the entrance to where one of the warriors were stationed." Silversparrow and I are on just on a hunt, okay?" The anonymous guard only nodded his head and let Sandstripe go towards the direction to a good spot near the river.

[Exit: to the River.]

Silversparrow watched as he thought about her decision for a moment, quickly agreeing. "Okay, cool. I know how much you like the river, Sandstripe." She teased, spotting the growing hunger in his body language. As he made a joke at her expense, Silversparrow let out a small, unconscious growl of anger, but seeing the light in his eyes, covered it up with a clearing of her throat. She was so used to cats teasing her, it was hard to tell the difference between that and friendly joking. She followed Sandstripes eyes as she noticed him glance over at a cat sleeping across the clearing, Serenepaw. Silversparrow nodded ask he asked a moment, and then sat down as he padded over to Serenepaw. She absentmindedly scratched the soft ground with her claw as he approached Serenepaw and gave her a gentle lick on her ear, and then padded back over to her. "I'm ready if you are." She meowed, getting to her paws and following him to the entrance, where the guard let them pass. "Thank you." Silversparrow nodded to the cat as they trotted past.

"Real tears are not those that fall from the eyes and cover the face, but those that fall from the heart and cover the soul."

SeaClan----Apprentice

Lostpaw nodded and twitched his short tail. "C'm'n," he told Rarepaw. The mostly deaf apprentice turned towards the apprentices' den. The exhaustion in his aching paws was reflected in his throbbing skull. He stretched again and headed for the den. He stood outside of it, waiting for Rarepaw to come with him. His ears pricked up and he looked up at the sky. He wondered briefly if StarClan was watching them, but he shook his head. he as little more than a kit and had no idea. The earthquake was too much for him to comprehend exactly what was going on. StarClan was too fast for the apprentice to really grasp. He just wanted to grow up to be a strong warrior like SeaClan deputy and maybe even one day become leader! But didn't every kit or apprentice dream of that at one point or another?

I speak my mind...
:。✿*゚‘゚・✿.。.:*.:。✿*゚’゚・✿.。

Rarepaw got up with Lostpaw, pausing to watch Kindsoul head into the warriors den, looking exhausted. All the Seaclan cats could use a good rest, after all they'd had quite the day. What with the shaking ground, and the deaths and the rebuilding. Even warriors could get overwhelmed at times, and it seemed every able-pawed cat was helping out. If she didn't belong to the best and strongest clan off them all, she would be worried. But she belonged to Seaclan, and so they would be fine, she just knew it. She began walking to the apprentices den, her paws suddenly feeling heavy and her eyes fighting to stay open. She brushed past Lostpaw as she went inside, and found her nest near the back. She pawed at it, making sure it was still soft. Then she circled in it three times, before settling down in it. She also left enough room for Lostpaw to lay down beside her, if he wanted. "Goodnight." She whispered.

Lostpaw flopped down beside Rarepaw. He licked her ear. His paws ached and his eyes burned with exhaustion. He closed his eyes, purred once and was asleep in an instant. His sides rose and fell steadily. His paws twitched as he slept.

Seaclan Thud, thud, thud. The lone Seaclan warrior padded back to camp with heavy paws with few amounts of prey, and little herbs dangled from his mouth. He was cautious not to touch them with his tongue. Back at the River, there was still some newly killed prey hiding underneath the leaves. the tabby knew where the rest of fresh-kill was buried in order to preserve its freshness, and hid it well to hide it from other predators in their environment.

The small fish he carried seemed more important than the forest-kill. It seemed easy to spoil; to become crowfood, according to his mentor. I have to get this back to camp. I hope Silversparrow is following me. Sandstripe thought worriedly, his tail and fur slightly raised. The tabby warrior had lost sight the silvery she-cat on the way back, and it made Sandstripe nervous to the bone. She could be dropping dirt right now for all I know. I shouldn't worry for now.

He continued to walk to the entrance of the camp clearing. Sandstripe was initially greeted with hostility by the cat guarding the entrance. The tom explained to believe that Sandstripe smelled different for a second. It wasn't the first time that his own clanmates had told him that. The thought was quickly brushed off. Leaving a grudge on things of minor importance did not benefit him anyway. As the half-moon slightly began to rotate a few degrees, the previously hunted fresh-kill was placed on the top of the pile. Some of it rolled down, slippery or the pile was a little steep on one side. The brown tabby did not bother to pick it up. There was not much regulation at night anyways.

Right, all I have to do is to not wake dear Serenepaw. Sandstripe commented, with objects carefully carried. He padded stealthily to his closest and only friend besides Kindsoul, who was just normally friendly to everyone, Serenepaw. The small she-cat seemed to look like she was asleep, inferred by Sandstripe. The brown tabby slowly poked her neck with his soft, pink nose. No response. Turning his head slowly, the wallflower of the warriors placed the herbs to its matching similarities. Marigold. . . Cobwebs. . . The arrangement of the materials seemed easy enough.

I opened my eyes slightly, narrow slits, accustoming to the darkness. My green eyes fluttered softly and I looked to my side. There was no warmth, there was nothing there, Where did Sandstripe go? I fretted to myself, fur raising. I stretched out, my hindlegs scraped against the dirt and a heavy sigh was released. The night was pleasurable with its calmness, yet, I remembered. The sounds didn't match the appearance.
The camp was a wreck, which left my heart to ache, cracking maybe. A soft whine escaped my lips though I shook it off and rested my head on my dark paws, which blended into the night but stood out against my creamy fur. I yawned, I hoped that Sandstripe was okay, deep inside my chest I fretted and my stomach churned. I couldn't allow that, he was a Warrior. Sandstripe didn't need me. He could do everything on his own, I would just get in the way of that, yet he was my friend. My only friend besides my Mentor. Yes, I was friendly to all, but that didn't mean I considered them true friends, I was just much too kind.
My eyes returned to narrowed slits, my green hues also stood out on my pelt and in the night, my head shook a little while I nodded, nearly asleep again. The sound of some cat speaking aroused me once more, my eyes opened fully. I must've heard something, I didn't see any cat. Another heavy sigh and my eyes pierced back to being closed. It was nothing, except.. A familiar and wonderful scent hit my nose and I inwardly smiled to myself. Sandstripe was back, he was safe. He had the scent of herbs and prey with him, he was such a kind tom, they needed everything he brought. I almost stiffened a little when he nosed my soft fur against my neck, he left me alone after that though. I slowly rose to my paws, sitting up, my jaw extended in a wide yawn, ending with a soft squeal.
"Sandstripe.." I mumbled to him, opening my eyes fully and looking over at the brown male. I looked to his leg first, my heart thumped, afraid he might be in pain, or bleeding, or limping, though there was only a slight limp to his step. I shook my long fur, shaking away the sleep and dreams, beauty it was. "Sandstripe, I told you not to walk around without my permission! You could strain it.." He looked so fine though.. Like nothing was wrong with his hindleg. I inwardly sighed, "You seem okay though, and that makes me happy.. Mentor will be proud of me." I said the end of that to myself with a mumble, I didn't want Sandstripe to hear me say that.
