Crunchbite | BreezeClan Warrior | Tom The nothingness that Crunchbite had been feeling quickly evaporated and turned to anger at Gingereye's words. His amber eyes narrowed and his muscles tensed. The usually laid back tom was about to make a sharp retort when Snowcherry jumped into the conversation. He felt a flicker of gratitude towards her for speaking before he had a chance, but also annoyance that she had jumped in uninvited.
The spotted, tan tom shifted into a more comfortable position of lying down. Was there something with she-cats and washing their ears? He wondered for an instant before putting forth his own comment. "It just seems that for moons now it's been just one disaster right after another."
This comment went all the way back to the Great Battle, but also to more minute things like the loss of most of his tail. Crunchbite twisted around to lick the fur on one of his shoulders. The fur naturally grew to part around the a deep scar from his accident with the dog, but he groomed it to lie flat and hide the scar. It seemed that almost all of the cats in the clan must have sported at least a scar or two, pointing to the fact that clan life was never fully peaceful.
Life in a clan always had its dangerous elements. There were dogs, storms, foxes, badgers, and skirmishes over borders, but it felt like now things were far bigger.

Ravenwind looked at Crunchbite at his question and her gaze softened. "I don't know. I think; if there is something worse coming... Starclan will warn the Medicine Cats tonight." She meowed slowly, flicking her tail against the tom's shoulder softly. She hoped that this was it, but there was a good chance that more would come. But then again; there was a good chance that this was it. The black pelted she-cat sighed. She really hoped Mosspaw and Moonblaze would bring news for them. She knew that if they brought home news, Galestar would tell the clan if he deemed it important enough for everyone to know. And if not; then they would simply have to wait.
Crunchbite's question brought her out of her thoughts. Blinking her thoughts away; she considered his question before preparing to answer. But of course, she didn't get that chance. Ravenwind jumped a bit when Gingereye barged into their conversation suddenly. Ears flattening momentarily in surprise; she allowed the warrior to speak. It wasn't like she was going to interrupt. Nope.
It seemed that her and Crunchbite's conversation between the two of them came to an end and was now a conversation between the four of them. The fourth cat being Snowcherry. Ravenwind nodded at Snowcherry's words. She wasn't all wrong. They had been talking about Moonblaze, they just weren't anymore. Ravenwind glanced at Crunchbite as he spoke. Point made. She wondered briefly, how many more disasters they would have before they could have a long time of peace; with just petty little clan to clan arguments. She never thought that she would miss those.

Gingereye's head cocked in a parody of confused innocence and she mirrored Crunchbite's tension, bring her paws to sit side by side on the ground as she recognized the signs of a rejoin simmering under his tongue. The pugnacious side of her mind perked with anticipation, seeing a fitting release of it's undirected anger, but abruptly fell flat as the itching sweet voice of Snowcherry floated through. Gingereye barely managed to stop the petulant tongue she wanted to stick out at the interrupting and overly cheery she-cat, instead giving a brief glare and flicking back her ears with resigned irritation. "Postitive outlook my bum.",she muttered venomously to herself, feeling vexed that some cats could carry on with such jubilance, as if the ground hadn't just had a spasm beneath their paws and the huge beasts that had invaded were just the left overs of an overly imaginative dream with a few permanent effects. The tension was smoothing out of her body from earlier, the few sharp lines that her body had been making relaxing into curves as her tail curled around her paws. Her lips quirked at the mention of the situation with Moonblaze and Mosspaw, only an added insult on the list of the giant insults that Starclan seemed to be bestowing upon the clans (or letting others bestow upon them, she could never know). Gingereye listened as Crunchbite voiced his concern and Ravenwind rose to reassure him. "If anything, this whole fiasco.." she glanced around camp as if in indication of all the disasters put together, "shows that we can't get comfortable. I'll be unsurprised if they come back with another inane riddle thing on their tongues, that goes on and on about tragedies that are coming but conveniently skirts the idea of the what causes it, that no one will have any way of interpreting until said disaster comes and then, then ", her voice was rueful as she shook her head, "everything will click together." Her frustration at the process cracked into her voice at the end, hitching her breathing as she stared pointedly away and then back up to look at the three cats around her. "I've found there's no point in worrying about the inevitable." She kneaded the ground, the stress from her earlier nightmare beginning to fade as a sense of justified bitterness took it's place.

FOR WHAT IS IT TO DIE ═══════════════════════════════════════════════════════
Galestar flicked his ears and said, "Good, good," as Valiantstride commented on the digging issue. He paused as the deputy asked about the rabbits. "Quite the contrary, actually," Galestar countered, "the rabbits are loose, without dens to flee to. If anything, we should take advantage of it. It's a little late currently, but perhaps instead of a nighttime border patrol, we can send out a hunting party to catch the homeless prey. Of course, we should leave a few to repopulate, but I bet we can make some good out of this groundshake yet." He chuckled and continued, "Don't be so eager to leave the land that's kept us fed for generations. You're right-StarClan has not yet given us a sign that we must leave. The prey will most likely return and continue their lives here."
═══════════════════════════════════════════════════════ BUT TO STAND IN THE SUN AND MELT IN THE WIND?
Crunchbite | BreezeClan Warrior | Tom With a sigh, Crunchbite rose to his paws and moved from Ravenwind's side to sit beside Gingereye. He knew he was over stepping his boundaries, but took action regardless. he leaned over and licked her shoulder and ears in a soothing manner. His amber eyes narrowed slightly as he dared to allow a purr to rumble in his chest. He set himself on letting his anger cool to an ember, the cold neutrality returning. He hated feeling the emptiness that swallowed him.
Continuing to groom Gingereye's shoulder and moving to her ear, Crunchbite pressed his right forepaw down on her shoulder to keep her from moving. Really, they all could learn something from Snowcherry and just relax. Tensions were too high right now, but with the disaster it was unlikely for there to be any major problems with the other clans, they'd been too preoccupied with their own problems. On the flip side though, there could be more disputes with the disaster.
"We should worry, though," Crunchbite told Gingereyes, his tone becoming calm. "We have to be prepared for whatever comes. You're right that we can't get comfortable, but we can adapt. StarClan gives prophecies for a reason, they're complected because it's the medicine cat's who are supposed to be able to decipher it."
The young warrior stepped away from the she-cat now and settled back down beside Ravewind. They'd have to be prepared for anything. He relaxed though and listened quietly to what the others had to say, his amber gaze interested.

The night sky has finally covered the sky like a blanket. Passionflood felt the back of her head grow weak and heavy. As she examined the multiples events around the camp, she realized the earthquake has taken effect on everyone. Thankfully no lives fleed to StarClan, yet. With all that has been happening, BreezeClan wouldn't be able to handle the loss of another dear member.
"Passionflood, my dear," a weak voice called.
The she-cat's eyes pulled towards the direction of the helpless voice and found a BreezeClan elder. He was resting his shriveled body on a dirty moss bedding, not being able to move a tendon. The earthquake must've harmed him gravely. Passionflood hurried by his side and lapped her tongue on his head a couple of times.
"Yes, is there something you desire?" Passionflood asked, a bit shakily. "Could you please be a dear and bring me some water?" he asked, his voice all cracked and dry.
Passionflood nodded and immediately rushed over to a moss bedding to grab a generous portion. She rushed into the clearing in hopes to look for a singular puddle. The camp grounds was dry, it was tapped out of any damp features. Passionflood then noticed the moon's light aiding her by glistening over the surface of a clear puddle. The warrior leaped towards the water and dipped the moss into the puddle, waiting for it to absorb to its fullest potential. She hurried back to the elder's den and rested the moss next to the pleading elder. He couldn't have the strength to thank her, but instantly started quenching his thirst like a mad-tom.
Deciding to leave him be, Passionflood left the den and made her way into the clearing. She blinked her eyes heavily in hopes to push her drowsiness further away from her. As she dared herself to walk, she felt herself stumbling a little bit in weird directions. A faint voice called her, but she hardly recognized its existence. Instead, she felt her nose poke into a soft calico coat. It was so warm, she could just sleep in it like a soundless kitten. Then she realized her sudden foolishness and leaped back with her fur standing on its end. It was just Snowcherry, oh my how embarrassing of her. Passionflood shook her head and silently grew angry with herself. But instead of being rude, she locked her gaze with Snowcherry's green orbs.
"H-Hello Snowcherry, please excuse my foolish behaviours just now" Passionflood mewed. "my apologies."

•❥Out•Of•Cherries: ❝Wooooh overly sweet Snowcherry time! Love her xD Snowcherry's the kind of cat who's all "MAKE FRIENDS WITH EVERYONE!"❞
The sweet tortoiseshell she-cat blinked thoughtfully from Crunchbite’s comment, understanding glimmering in her pale green depths as she recalled the great and dangerous battle with the Star Slayers that stole many lives that fateful night at a Gathering; her mate’s life included in the death toll, the flood that suddenly raged through camp…and the earthquake that seemingly followed just after the clans barely recovered from nearly being drowned to death. One after another, the clans were barraged with disasters that relentlessly tried at the warrior cats, refusing to ever give them a wink of peace. Such was the cruelty of the eccentric warrior life.
A sympathetic emotion swept over her expression, however, when she noticed the brown dappled tom wash certain patch of fur roughly, as if there was something there he’d rather not show off. She turned away, recalling the auspicious run in he had with a merciless dog that killed his mentor. Sighing inwardly, the she-cat put on a soft smile before her ears twitched towards Ravenwind, listening for what the slender black she-cat mewed."I don't know. I think; if there is something worse coming... Starclan will warn the medicine cats tonight."Snowcherry nodded in agreement, her smile widening as the young warrior basically announced her faith in their warrior ancestors, which the pretty dappled warrior extolled Ravenwind for. Of course, her cheerfulness wavered slightly from the impetuous contribution delivered by the ginger one-eyed warrior she-cat beside her. She didn’t neglect the malignant greeting Gingereye so affably graced her with either, so the she-cat candidly burlesqued the she-cat with an asinine glare of her own, and, in the flick of a tail tip, beamed a pearly white grin in the half blind she-cat’s general direction, friendly and sickeningly sweet emotion almost sparkling from her eyes as the warrior spoke. The funny thing was that is was all very genuine. Snowcherry was known for her sweetness and goodhearted character. Qualities that led to Shadow falling in love with her... The she-cat frowned mentally, she couldn't believe that ever since Shadow's death protecting her from a Star Slayer nine moons ago, she still hasn't...well..gotten over the death...or properly grieved. No. The she-cat was like a ticking time bomb. She kept all of her negative emotions pent up within the deepest and darkest depths of her heart in the hopes that she'd always have the control to keep it inside of her...but...who knows if she'll be able to keep up her cheerful personality for long..."If anything, this whole fiasco shows that we can't get comfortable. I'll be unsurprised if they come back with another inane riddle thing on their tongues, that goes on and on about tragedies that are coming but conveniently skirts the idea of the what causes it, that no one will have any way of interpreting until said disaster comes and then, then, everything will click together."The jubilant multi-colored warrior blinked in curiosity at what the feasible ‘hidden meaning’ could be under those malign words. Though, a glimmer of concern sparkled in Snowcherry’s gaze as Gingereye’s rant persisted sullenly."I've found there's no point in worrying about the inevitable."Snowcherry refused to grow melancholic with Gingereye’s positivity, or lack there of. While the amber furred warrior had a point, that they shouldn’t get too comfortable when danger was creeping down the moors; its claws glinting for blood and the lives of unfortunate souls, it didn’t necessarily mean everyone should give up preparing for these dangers. Is it not how BreezeClan escaped a number of casualties during the earthquake and the flood?
”Oh come now, Gingereye, don't be a stick in the mud! That definitely isn’t any way to think optimistically or safely! I’ve found that preparing for these ‘inevitable disasters’ at least saves more lives then we think! We’ve persevered for moons and more moons to come by using these messages from StarClan, no matter how bleak they are, and used it to our advantage; numerous lives being spared as well in building our defenses. Worrying is natural and that, in itself, is inevitable. No matter how confident you may sound, I’m sure you’re nervous about something as well, and the best way to solve that is to relax and stay positive. Because everything gets better with a smile!”
Snowcherry concluded with a brilliant smile to prove her point, her aura illuminating the negative atmosphere with waves of impractical buoyancy that was positive to make a Dark Forest cat recoil in abhorrence. She felt the imposing idea to make it a life’s objective to find out what was wrong with her beloved comrade, Gingereye, and do her best to befriend and comfort the cat, no matter what it was! The ginger warrior unquestionably needed it, or her name wasn’t Snowcherry!
...
To Snowcherry’s revelation, Crunchbite did the unspeakable. Most cats would outright avoid the mere presence of a snappy she-cat like Gingereye; hardly speaking to her in the fears of getting on her bad side for that matter! But, like the noble and nonchalant cat he appeared like; at that moment, Crunchbite made the effort and attempted to calm the she-cat of her qualms by briefly grooming her before he rebounded to his apposite seat. Snowcherry found the tom’s amber gaze with a favorable twinkle in her jade tinted eyes as her ears perked once more, noticing said tom was about to bequeath his opinion to the elongated argument."We should worry, though,"Very true…while it’s preferred to relieve stress…we can’t avoid the foreseeable future or simulate calmness, as Gingereye so tersely stated…"We have to be prepared for whatever comes. You're right that we can't get comfortable, but we can adapt. StarClan gives prophecies for a reason; they're complicated because it's the medicine cat's who are supposed to be able to decipher it." She knew she liked this cat, for her reverence she held for the half-tailed tom propagated further.”Crunchbite’s right, hey that almost rhymed!~ As simple as that, my ginger friend. Although we shouldn’t anticipate moons and moons of peace to be handed to our paws like free prey or increasingly fret over events we may not have the power to stop or figure out, it doesn’t mean we have to just retreat and surrender, does it? Together, as a clan…no…as a family…we’ll survive, so long as we believe we can. Can’t lose faith! As for the messages StarClan gifts to our medicine cats, why do you think they’re so ridiculously perplexing and difficult to interpret, let alone understand? Do leaders ever just hand out deputyship, just like that, to warriors? Do mentors say an apprentice is ready to become a warrior whenever they feel like it? Of course not! It’s the same thing with StarClan and their omens and prophecies. The reason behind certain actions and words are usually the most complicated things to figure out. Maybe StarClan simply can't tell us everything...I don't think anyone knows everything anyways...and, sometimes it's for our own safety that they can't! While I don’t think it’s just up to the medicine cats to decipher everything, since we should take things into our own paws at times too, we should trust that what StarClan tells us is all we really need to know to suffice. It’s just how it is. Answers can’t just fall under our paws like old prey and we’re never given anything like milk to a kitten. It’s just not that easy. But, hey, who ever said life was easy? I certainly haven’t. We struggle through all these various trials for a reason. And, as much as a lot of us wish it, StarClan can’t give us the answers to anything. It wouldn’t be our own lives anymore or a life really, if we knew how to handle everything that’s thrown at us. The point is, no matter what, we should unite and never give up, no matter what happens. We should continue to stay positive and hope for the best or make sure it will happen, even if some things are just out of our paws. It doesn’t mean we can’t try, right? So cheer up Gingereye, we’ll get through this, you’ll see! I’ll be here to keep you moving towards a positive future, so you can count on me! Ah, that rhymed too!~”Snowcherry chirped jocundly as she jumped towards the bigger warrior, accumulating importance to her cheesy but genuine interjection; eyes shining with authenticity and overly cheery amplitudes within the moonlight’s silvery grace. She twirled around Gingereye like a kit enjoying a puddle on a blistering greenleaf’s morning, eager to mollify the she-cat with her puerile antics when a familiar marbled silver pelt, somewhat glowing in the vast night lighting as they lived in the virtually open moors.
”Passionflood? Are you all right?”
Snowcherry’s long white whiskers twitched skeptically when the generally modest and courteous she-cat failed to acknowledge or answered her; carrying on to wherever she planned like her paws were about to fall off. Curious, she flicked her tail to the other cats, prompting them to continue the conversation without her as she padded a ways from the trio, aiming for Passionflood’s teetering form. The beautiful little tortoiseshell halted in the tabby’s path, tilting her head to the side as she studied the she-cat whom she was older than by just three moons. The lithe warrior’s sniffed, her delicate but strikingly pink nose picking up the scent of the elder’s den. Ah, Passionflood was out doing good will and charity again and was pretty exhausted because of it! What a good soul!
”Passionflood, dear, what are y— eep!”
Her genuinely concerned mew transformed into an adorable squeak when the elegant silver tabby stumbled into Snowcherry’s soft side, unexpectedly. Just when Snowcherry was about to speak, Passionflood kept her at bay with a firm gaze. Snowcherry’s astounded and charming bottle green gaze fastened to Passionflood’s enchanting greens, curious of what she was going to say.
"H-Hello Snowcherry, please excuse my foolish behavior just now,"
”Oh, it’s quite alri—“"my apologies."
Snowcherry smiled solicitously, warmth a mother would give to her kittens floating within her jade depths as she regarded the pretty tabby with her sweet and charismatic aura, hoping the she-cat wouldn’t be so uneasy around her. They were all friends here! Before responding, the tortoiseshell warrior placed a comforting and easy going tail tip upon her comrade’s shoulder, a dazzling grin across her muzzle.
”Ah, don’t worry about it my friend! You’re just tired, nothing to apologize about, haha! What kind of happy-go-lucky cat would I be if I shrieked at ever cat who waltzed on into me! Besides, I love your company!
Anyways, how’re you doing, Passionflood? Helping the elder’s with their needy requests again, are we? You’re such a sweet cat, I’m glad some still respect their elders!”
The small tortoiseshell complimented, chirruping earnestly while licking the she-cat’s forehead approvingly and affectionately. She loved the silver marbled tabby! Passionflood was always performing good deeds for her clan, even when no cat asked for it. They needed more cats like her in the clan! Although…Snowcherry had always felt something was…well…how should she put it…but…off…about the she-cat. But, everyone had a little darkness in them…Snowcherry knew she did…and some hid it better then others, like the tortoiseshell. So, knowing this, she wanted to let the she-cat know she had a friend in Snowcherry at least; to go to for any troubles that bother her. Snowcherry curled her long velvety tail around her small dainty paws, gazing at Passionflood with legitimate interest and glee as she awaited a reply.

LOCATION: Galestar's den COMPANY: Galestar OOC:
Valiantstride’s ears flicked when Galestar commented that they should make use of this lack of shelter to pursue the rabbits. It was embarrassing that he had not thought of it, although rabbits were known to be skittish and would run off at a moment’s notice. ”Perhaps we would be well fed for some time, that’s if the rabbits don’t migrate to some other sheltered area.” he meowed quietly as he lay down onto his belly to get comfortable.
”You seem very optimistic considering our situation, Galestar...which is good, the clan needs their leader to remain hopeful in order to make it through tough times.” he purred and squinted his eyes in amusement, flicking his tail at Galestar’s flank as a teasing gesture. ”Anyway, enough of this morbid talk of dwindling prey populations and leaving the territory. Moonblaze and Mosspaw should be at the Moonpool now, so hopefully we’ll get some answers from Starclan soon. That aside, how’s your throat, after what happened?” His whiskers twitched in amusement as he recalled how fussed about his sprained paw Moonblaze seemed. With such a diligent and responsible mentor, Mosspaw should learn well from her and bloom into a great medicine cat for Breezeclan. After all, Moonblaze was the one who had taught Fadinghorizon everything she knew, and now she has become a brilliant medicine cat of Stormclan.
G i n g e r e y e Breezeclan Warrior - She-cat - Waspish ________________
- she was mentioned as friends with Pebbleheart during her parting moments, i remember! i was very touched. And that was so much to respond to omg -
Gingereye's chest rose and fell in a few short, uneven beats as she swiftly reined in the remaining nerves that had skittered away during her minor rant. Although the bunched lines of tension remained evident in her stance, her eyes had assuaged from indignant and fiery to rather drawn-back and nonchalant. Not long ago she had come to the conclusion that it was best not to follow thought trails about Starclan and prophecies, considering that they were prone to lead to major headaches and sulks that no self respecting warrior should work themselves into. Already she was regretting her part in this conversation, the dull throb in her temple agreeing wholeheartedly. But after her outburst, she already knew what was coming but still she looked up to the sky with a grimace that begged Oh-Please-Spare-Me-Starclan as Snowcherry's sickly, saccharine voice filled the air. At the she-cat's conclusion that everything gets better with a smile, Gingereye answered with pulling her lips back to bare her teeth in a frighteningly hostile rendition of what Snowcherry was suggesting. Dropping the face, she made a sound of frustration as her words were misinterpreted. "I'm not saying that we should just lie around in quivering little balls, mouse brain, but the whole coddling each other for our own good, pointless "I hopes...", as if we don't all know that it's not near ove-" Her words were chocked off, her face flashing shock then closing into something remote and her body going rigid as Crunchbite ambitiously stepped forward and began to groom her. Gingereye's head was spinning at the sudden turn of events, the last time she had been groomed by another cat being moons ago by Pebbleheart and NO, no she was not going to dwell on that now. Her senses having been scrambled back into something comprehensible, a strong impression of 'how dare he' followed and Gingereye's voice came out tight and pinched, the hints of a warning growl threatening at it's steel edges. "What do you think you're doi-urrrng" A single, well placed lick pierced and breached the veil of hostility as a strangled purr rumbled from Gingereye's chest and her face contorted into a look of conflicted pleasure-c**-aggravation. Crunchbite had reached the patch behind her ear and oh, Gingereye had forgotten the splendid, almost unctuous feeling of a tongue smoothing the fur in that oft neglected patch. A swiped paw or scratch from the hind leg never was this gentle or gratifying and Gingereye didn't notice the quiet restraining paw the Crunchbite had put up, but she did notice that he pulled away far too soon. She halfheartedly glared at Crunchbite as he moved back to sit by Ravenwind, her pelt warming in embarrassment of the break in character. Endorphins muddled her thoughts and she shook her head in a futile attempt to scatter them, trying to remember what she was going to say before the surprise groom attack. She gave it up as a lost cause, relishing the last few seconds of her respite before switching back to the antagonistic she-cat for the cats in around her. Crunchbite swiftly followed Snowcherry in his own reprimanding and she made an affronted sound as Snowcherry once again piped up. Oh Starclan, have mercy. Gingereye suffered through the pep talk, her face grim as Snowcherry finished with a flourish, twirling around her like a 4 moon kit. "The only c***k in your plan, Snowcherry, is that not all of us will get through this as you so brightly put it." She voiced quietly, moving from her haunches to hunch restlessly to the ground. The thought that had been haunting her bobbed quietly to the surface, though she retained an air of surly nonchalance (she had almost rolled her eyes as Snowcherry bounded to Passionflood, though her brain had quickly caught up with her impulses, and reminded her that she only had one eye and the effect of such a motion had been lost to her). "I would love to say how I wholeheartedly believe everything is going to be alright and we can all make it through if we only just work together, but unfortunately, Snowcherry's right, and life doesn't work that way. Someone is going to die. It's happened every single disaster and there is no indication that the trend is going to stop now."The headache from earlier was beginning to stir to life again and Gingereye impatiently got up and paced. "It's like we're being picked off, though I can't say for better or for worse. Starclan isn't sounding half bad after everything that's happened and everything that I know is going to happen." She paused, her face darkened in realization of what her words were implying, and flicked her gaze back up." And no, I don't plan on 'deserting'"Her voice was wary and drained as she used the sheltered term for suicide before settling back on her paws. "You know I might just go on a walk." She muttered absently to herself, wincing as her head growled. If anything, this was a wonderful reminder of why she didn't get on with most of her clan mates.

Crunchbite | BreezeClan Warrior | Tom Crunchbite looked up at Gingereye. How exactly could she talk like that? No one would "desert" and talking like that rubbed his fur the wrong way. He stood up stiffly and padded over to her. His legs were tense as he said, "It's not safe to go out there alone right now." The fur along his spine rippled and his amber eyes narrowed. "If you're going to leave the camp, take someone with you." Crunchbite knew full well that Gingereye didn't get along with the other warriors, but he cared for all of his clanmates in some form or another, he didn't want anything happening to the stubborn she-cat.
"I'll go with you, if you want," he offered. His tone was calm, but unease rose in him. He had never become comfortable leaving camp since his accident with the dog, but still went on patrols and hunting, even if he was tense and wary. He feared something happening to his clanmates. If a warrior left on their own, he was usually fine with it, but with everything happening he thought no one should leave alone. If something happened to his clanmates like it had to him and his mentor.
Concern grey in Crunchbite the more he looked at the ginger she-cat. Crouching next to her, he asked, "Gingereye, what's wrong?" He licked the she-cat's ear as he had done before, his amber gaze worried. He didn't like her talking the way she had been and it made him uneasy.

Ravenwind shifted on her paws as Gingereye spoke. Her words did make some sense. With all the things that where happening around them, it was almost like the moment they got even a little bit comfortable; a disaster of some sort would strike. Her eyes flickered towards Crunchbite as he left her side and moved to the orange she-cat. She wondered briefly how Gingereye would react to that. Ravenwind tilted her head curiously as Gingereye began to speak; only to break off in a... purr? That was... Well she couldn't remember when she'd heard something close to a purr come from the she-cat. It was interesting.
First Gingereye left and Crunchbite soon followed and just like that, it was just her and Snowcherry; plus Passionflood. Ravenwind looked down at her paws briefly before glancing over to the silver tabby. She felt a bit awkward; just sitting there while the two she-cats conversed. Maybe she would take after Mapleleaf and go to sleep. Yeah, that sounded good. Rising to her paws, she looked at the two pretty warriors. "Well, I think I'll go sleep..." She nodded a goodbye. "So.. goodnight." Ravenwind meowed softly, flicking her tail absently as she slowly padded towards the warriors den.

The warrior blinked in a puzzled manner towards Snowcherry. Passionflood's head felt a weight heavy down on her right side, causing her head to tilt slightly. What an affection this she-cat showed, it was almost astonishing. Passionflood barely commutes with Snowcherry, yet this calico doesn't hesitate to give her an affection a cute kit deserves. It almost made her face flush.
The marble-furred bengal chuckled a little as she looked to the side, feeling a slightly awkward aura linger around her. It was no surprise this she-cat was able to lure in the handsome tom known as Shadow. Passionflood winced a little as she tried to shake the heavy weight away from her mind. It has been a rough day for everyone. She tried her best to smile at Snowcherry and not to portray any rude impressions. But then her smile changed back to the blank stare as she heard the word 'friend.'
"Friend?" Passionflood repeated in a confused tone.
Passionflood, as sad as it seems, never really intended on making any friends. If anything, acquaintances seems more suitable to her taste. Is this how her fellow clan mates make 'friends?' That elder den must've made her anti-social.
"Ah, yes. The elders have been fairing well." Passionflood answered professionally, as she always does. "How are you fairing, Snowcherry?"
The Reference book has been updated, but in summary, it is MORNING on MAY the 25th (1 week timeskip). It is CLOUDY, but it is not RAINING. Tonight is the FULL MOON, but right now it is MORNING.
Situational:
Moonblaze & Mosspaw returned from the MOONPOOL a week ago, and they brought home GRAVE NEWS: StarClan is warning the Clans of TRAITORS and STRANGERS. The Clans should be on their guard.
For BreezeClan, this is mostly confusing. There is no one particular stranger to the Clan, and the thought of a traitor is putting everyone on edge. The Clan should be on its guard from now on.
Important Bits:
Galestar's throat is fully healed. He has returned from a meeting with SILVERSTAR, where he discussed (among other things) a TREE that has fallen across the BROOK between StormClan and BreezeClan, allowing for quick access across the border. Due to the new prophecy, both leaders are on edge about the possibility for attack, so they have agreed to an alliance and promised not to use the fallen tree for the purpose of bringing harm to the other Clan. On the other paw, this is great news for MOONBLAZE because it means she can run between the two Clans without having to swim or go the long way through the rocky cliffs that house the Moonpool. Additionally, Galestar has issued periodic GUARD DUTY to watch the new tree-bridge from afar. STORMCLAN has not done the same, and Galestar would like it if the guards are secretive about their duty so that STORMCLAN does not know. This is for secret reasons.
Moonblaze expressed concerns that StarClan was hinting that turmoil would soon erupt in StormClan. To guard the safety of BreezeClan, Galestar wants to make sure that if Silverstar loses control, BreezeClan will be wary of future breakers of the Code. Only Galestar and Moonblaze are aware of this. DO NOT HAVE YOUR CHARACTER KNOW THIS WITHOUT PERMISSION. They can suspect his decision to have guards, of course.
Players feel free to join. State in your post that Galestar ordered you to guard duty. ONLY TWO PLAYERS CAN BE ON GUARD DUTY AT A TIME.
Valiantstride has returned from a HUNTING PATROL. Players feel free to say that they were in the patrol. State in your post that Valiantstride ordered you to come and ROLL DICE TO SEE WHAT YOU CAUGHT.
Galestar pads into the clearing, his tail twitching irritably. Embergaze had accompanied him on a meeting with Silverstar, even though the warrior was still limping from his injury. Although he had followed him into StormClan camp, Embergaze did not know what Silverstar had discussed. Which was for the better, really. Galestar sits in front of the willow tree in the middle of camp. He is clearly troubled by something, although he is trying to hide it.
Embergaze greets his mate, Mapleleaf, who rubs his cheek affectionately. She licks his injured leg a bit before twining tails. Then she presents him with the pigeon she had caught on Valiantstride's patrol. It is than the mouse she had caught, and it's obvious she is showing favor for him. Love is a rewarding thing, and Embergaze certainly appreciates it. The couple chow down on the pigeon together after the mouse is placed on the fresh-kill pile, sitting side-by-side.
Crystalpaw bounces around playfully in the clearing. She hasn't noticed her father's return because she's busy chasing a cricket.

LOCATION: Centre of camp, in front of the willow tree COMPANY: Galestar, Galepaw? OOC:
Valiantstride trotted into camp with his tail high in the air, pleased about how the morning’s hunting patrol had gone. He had managed to catch a young rabbit and a mouse, the rabbit being too young to know when to run from a predator. He deposited his catch onto the kill pile, proud that he had at least caught enough to feed one needy stomach. He cast a glance back at the warriors and apprentices that had come along to the patrol, giving them a nod to let them know that they were now free to do whatever they liked for the time being. The striped deputy had directed their route so that they would pass by the tree-bridge that now linked Stormclan and Breezeclan’s territories, far enough so that Stormclan would not notice anything strange, but close enough so that they would have been able to notice instantly if anything was amiss. Fortunately, nothing seemed to be out of the ordinary. He had used this chance to take his apprentice Galepaw along, showing him the territory and asking him to make a mental map of the area. If he was to be a decent warrior of Breezeclan, first he needed to know his own territory better than the back of his own paw.
Seeing as nothing would be gained from standing around doing nothing, Valiantstride decided to report this morning’s findings to Galestar. Even though nothing out of the ordinary had happened, he presumed that Galestar would still like to be reassured of that. He was about to turn towards the leader’s den to find the siamese leader, but instead of being in his den, Galestar was sitting in front of the willow tree in the middle of camp, silently brooding over something. Whatever the matter was, it seemed to be deeply troubling the normally cheerful and outgoing leader. He picked up the young rabbit that he had caught this morning and trotted towards the point-coloured leader, his eyes narrowed into slits in a friendly and relaxed manner. ”Galestar, your fur’s going to fall out if you continue worrying and brooding silently like that.” He joked lightly as he dropped the rabbit at his leader’s paws, ”I’d ask you what’s wrong, but I figured that if it’s business that concerns the clan’s wellbeing, you’d have told me long time ago.” It was a not-so-subtle way of indirectly pressuring Galestar to tell him, but whether or not Galestar would reveal his worries was ultimately up to him. ”Anyway, we passed by the tree-bridge today during our hunting patrol. We didn’t get too close to it to avoid arousing suspicion, but from what we could see from the distance, everything seems to be peaceful. Silverstar’s not a leader to initiate conflict, so hopefully it’ll stay this way.”

FOR WHAT IS IT TO DIE ═══════════════════════════════════════════════════════
Galestar blinked as Valiantstride approached him, twitching his whiskers as the deputy teased him about his mood. "Ah, I've got a lot on my mind," he admitted, licking his paw. He nodded as Valiantstride reported about the patrol. "Very well. It's good to hear all is as we left it."
He hesitated for a moment before standing, saying, "Thank you for the offer, Valiantstride, but I'm not hungry right now. In fact, would you mind accompanying me to the Joined Trees?"
His eyes flashed with urgency. There was something important he needed to discuss with the deputy. He hadn't meant to keep silent for so long; he just needed to make sure what he was even worried about before he spoke to Valiantstride.
