As River stood to stretch Dude peeked in the room once more. "What the heck did you do to my shop?" He asked raising an eyebrow. Picky, picky... River thought and said, "You will like things once I'm done." She replied and headed to the main shop to get some more cleaning done.

Picking up the p-90 River started to mark the holes she would have to carve. Some of the smaller tasks were very tedious.... She thought and used a drill to dig out the grooves. She then drilled holes and added the new brackets made before. Only a few more steps were left before the second gunblade was done. She melded the rivet to the bracket and double checked the groove's measurements.

River saw Dude peek in the work room again and she sighed putting down the almost finished gunblade. He was very picky about his shop. It had to look a certain way, and stay organized a special way as well. Rolling her eyes River picked up the broom and finished sweeping. It was actually an honor he even let her mess with his stuff like this; but sometimes when he was in a grumpy mood he was freaking annoying. Sighing once more River stretched and glanced around. All that really was left was organizing the scraps by element. Within an hour the giant barrels by the desk were full and the shop looked shiny. If he has a freaking complaint I will shove this broken motor down his throat... River thought as she chucked the useless part into the trash. She wanted to get back to her gunblade.

River took out the whetstone again and worked on the blades, sharpening them to perfection. Taking the other gun blade, River found herself taking swings at imaginary creatures. She could not wait until she took them out to train with. She was pleased with every aspect of it; especially the shape of the blade. It reminded her of a dragon's scale. She held it out and thought of a good name for the template. FN-DR90. Nodding she hoped that Gig had news of a new mission or something soon. Can't wait to take these guys out onto the field. She thought.

Giglamesh would set the tetsubo under the machine, use the screw in knobs to hold it securely in place. Then he would turn the machine on and the drill bit would begin to spin, it would then oddly then gauge it down two gauges. He would then grab the three handled lever and slowly twist it so the drill bit which was squirting oil on to the tetsubo, then the drill bit would dig in the the metal core with easy. It wasnt spinng the fastest and created a large metal coil to come out of the openings of the hole as it spun. The oil kept the drill bit lubed, as well as cool as to not heat up to greatly, weaken, then break. Giglamesh just continued to move the lever down till the drill bit popped out the bottom of the tetsubo. Then to make sure it was smooth he would then speed the bit rotation up and move it quickly up and down inside the tetsubo's center making dam sure it was smooth. Then he would push it back down making sure to bottom out the bit, no it was time for the next step.

The next step was very simple, but had the lowest chance for error. Giglamesh would literally stop the bit, and dial its diameter out gauging it twice. This would make the dialiable pieces of metal which acted like a drill bit press hard against the inside of the barrel. He would then turn the bit to a very slow speed, and slowly raise the handle up dragging the slowly spinning bit on the insides of the barrel. He had done this before and it would show he was "Rifeling" with great skill. Finally the bit would reach the top, and giglamesh would remove the now hollowed out tetsubo and look threw it, there was a very distinguishable helical grove, he had rifled what was going to be the barrel of a grenade launcher very very well. He would teh slide his work bench stool over to the solvent cleaning sink, and he would run solvet threw the hollowed out tetsubo.

As he ran solvent threw the interior of the tetsubo he would get a scrub wire brush and slide it threw also, making sure to get out every tiny little piece of scrap metal he could. He would repetitively push the brush in and out of the tetsubos interior to make sure it was cleaned. Then Then he would wrap a cloth around the wire brush and push it threw now trying to clean off all the solvent from inside the barrel. He would do this for several minutes very thoroughly, till even the rifling grooves were dry and clean. Then he would set the club down, it was coming down to the home stretch now. He would then remove the barrel from the grenade launcher and slide back over to the jig saw table. He could see where the line was from where it had been exposed to different things, and where the inside of the plastic held it in place so it was easy to tell. He would move slightly infront of that, line up with the jig saw, taking several moment and measurements to make sure it was straight. Then threw the jig saw the barrel went cutting its perfectly flat.

He would then grind down the freshly cut edges making them smooth and not so ragged, then he would take the cut barrel, and the tetsubo over to the tig welding bench. He would look at the ends closely, he nearly matched the lands and groves spacing perfectly, in fact to the eye even well trained eye it would seem to be perfect, perhaps under a microscope it would not make, but that wassnt very likely even. Giglamesh bored out the grooves by eye, and he did a dam good, nearly perfect job of it. He would then take the tig and begin to weld a seam around the base of the tetsubo, and connecting barrel. It would make sure to put a good large heavy weld on it. Then with a bit of grinding to smooth it out, it look incredible, like it was always one piece. As if the barrel was always a huge club...as wrong as it sounded, it looked right!

Giglamesh now exicted, would roll back over to the bench and place the new massive cluby barrel down and begin to slide it back in to place. But....there was a problem, it wasnt locking back in to place like it should. He would kepe trying to get it to relock it, but it simply wouldnt. Giglamesh was sailing threw this so easily, but in the end had to have some difficulty, which annoyed him greatly. He would fidget and fidget with the barrel trying to get it to match, but it just seemed as if it no longer fitted. He measured with his eye so what was the problem it look perfect, was a mistake made on microscopic level he could not see with even his enhanced vision?

Veins at his templs would pop pulse and vein largly and he fidgeted with the barrel, it just would re lock in. What the ******** is wrong....why wont it fit!? He would think to himself banning to barrle trying to get it to lock back in to place. He would just kepe trying even though it didnt work first few dozen times. He was just beign stubborn and would let it go threw that easily.

He would grab and bang the club violently against the table making a decent dent....then he realized it. <******** down...." He wassent to happy with him self when he realized it. And sure enough he rolled the barrel one hundred eighty degrees, and it fit and locked in first try. He felt like a idiot, and looked at the dent in sar work bench....shrugged, he paid the waver fee so he would take any s**t from sar if he tried to b***h. it was back together, well as much as it was going to be, now a few finishing touches.

He would tighten a few bolts and screws, make sure everything was tight. And viola it was complete the mgl-6 club.....yeah gig wassnt feeling that template name. "Hmm lets see....how about.....heh thumper...yeah." He would grin to himself, it was a corny name but it fit, thumper cause it would thump many heads, and thumper because of the "thump" noise when it fired grenades. So that was its prototype template name and he would stick with it. The stock, which was now the handle folded up to lay op top of the launcher when it was not in use, and the revolving canister and stock/handle tipped down to reload like normal. Pretty much ti followed same design as the normal mgl series, but now it had no handle, the shoulder brace acted as the handle. As well as the barrel was much longer and ....cluby ish. It would be a fun weapon. Giglamesh would stand and begin to walk out. "All done back here thanks..." with that he would hop out of sar's shop and begin to long trec back to civilization, and first stop the catterwol to pick up mai, he missed his little baby .....thumper still in had as if he was just walking around with a baseball bat.

River wanted to add some things to the gunblade but she saw the time and knew she would be woken early, early. So with a sigh she straightened up and mess she made on the desk and stood placing the gunblades in the bag. "Thanks for letting me use your stuff. Next time I'll just bake you some cookies though." She said with a grin as she stood. Dude laughed and scratched the back of his head. "I guess that will work. Thanks for putting up with me." He said sheepishly. River laughed and nodded. "Well you can put up with me, so I guess we are even. You're my guinea pig though next time. I'll need your help with some of the smaller robotics though... so when I have free time again I will be back. See you later." She said and waved as she dragged the bag up and over her shoulder carrying everything home.

Giglamesh would begin heading the path of alleys back to habital civilization. Once he finally made it back, he began heading for the Catterwol bar which oba-san was baby sitting maiyuri. But it was around dinner time also, go giglamesh would also take out his cell. He would turn it on, he always kept it off so shinra couldn't trace him. Then he would begin to try and call river's cell phone. Both had one only to be used as communication relay when they were separated, hell neither of them knew or liked that many people so why talk to em right? As the phone was ringing, giglamesh saw tattered cloak on the ground, he would look at it checking for obvious remnants like puke, urine, or excrement. He didnt see any, nor did it smell like death so he would wrap it around his thumper, to conceal it as he walked in to the busy streets of the slums city like district if you could call it that, still with the phone to his ear as the phone was ringing for river to answer.

River was lost in her own world listening to something given by a friend. She had to admit, it was something she was starting to like. Halfway home she heard a song that cut through her music player and almost dropped her bag as she dug through her jacket pocket for her cell phone. Only a handful of people had her number, she hoped it was unrelated to the group she ran into earlier that night. With the gunblades finished River's mood had finally brightened again; no need to mess it up again. "Hello?" She asked not bothering checking the caller ID.
