Eh, fine. I seriously don't see why its a big deal. It hinders my elemental attacks and makes me easier to find by my 'prey' as well as not giving me anything until I get the skills approved anyways.

I have a great solution for you DG. Since your ubered up on holy powers and shiz, energy and such. Your weakness ought to be your opposer itself, unholy energy. Unholy energy ought to do double damage or something worse to you then usual. Seeing that its the only type of energy that can properly oppose holy energy.
Does that make sense?

The Urban Superstition DG: Not a good enough weakness son. Your vote on Des' talent also doesn't count. Met: Approved. Chill: Ask Fenrir, I'm not sure how he'd feel about flying or stealth, or even breathing underwater. Pish: Approved (Just in case Tenchi: Specify this "Quick Reload" as when you fire a revolver, you must wait till next post to reload. Maybe something like "He can fire all the rounds, reload, fire all the rounds, reload, and be ready before the next post?" Also Tenchi, you get a cookie for that badass sig of yours with the head banging and the asian robes. Ryoko: Approved. (Just in case) I saw something really badass on an anime. Girl fired off all her rounds of a revolver, then tossed the next six bullets up and snapped them all into the revolver's empty chambers. I was thinking only once per post, or like once per three posts. He won't be using semi-autos. Oh! And I wanna make an addition to the talent...

Does that make sense? I'm fine with my current weaknesses. I'm already weaker because I don't have a bloodline. No need to add any more ways I can be killed.

I hope that this is better. Yeah, it didn't really change all that much, but I did take away the major points of the void and energy attributes. Now, the energy attribute is practically non-existent unless some world-shaking arc comes up and the void attribute only keeps seers from seeing Nai's future and past and keeps succubi and incubi from attracting her. Is that better or no? Rip away >_< . EDIT- I also added a weakness that allows Nai to learn only chaos skills up to her rank. If more weaknesses are needed, I can also add that learning chaos skill take more posts than learning regular skills.
RPC Name: Nai Rank: Adept Talent Description: Through a strange and somewhat chaotic combination of void and energy, Nai can defragment any energy-related skills by accessing them with her potential for energy control and then splitting their energy "program" with her potential for void control. The result is a mass of chaos that can't really be used for much.
By integrating her own energy into the energy of another person's, Nai can wreak havoc to it and throw the energy of an energy-related skill (any skill that sends out a burst of energy, not only arcanist skills, and including elemental magic, necromancer skills, and bard skills) into a mass of useless chaos. To do this, though, she must first analyze the energy of whatever she is targeting to understand how it needs to be broken up. In order to fulfill this requirement, Nai must either see the skill she wishes to disable at least three times or analyze the skill (if it's a long-lasting skill like a seal or a barrier) for at least three posts. After understanding the energy make-up of whatever she wants to dismantle, she then needs to use half the energy used initially for the skill she is targeting to disable it (this amount changes in certain circumstances). Nai can also do the same thing with void-related and chaos-related skills.
In addition to the main branch of the talent, there are two minor branches of Nai's special ability. Energy- Nai is able to somewhat feel the energies and auras around her. While this is nowhere near strong enough to be used effectively in most situations, she is able to tell whenever something drastic happens (ex: if she's transported to a completely different world, if there's some drastic arc-involving change in the world) Void- Like energy, Nai also has a slight tinge of void in her talent. Neither Nai's future nor past can be seen by seers and she is completely immune to the advancements of succubi/incubi.
There are a number of other possible skills for this talent, but they must be learned and will be applied for in the custom skills thread.
An additional perk is that, because of the volatile mixture of energy and void, Nai's time will eventually stop and she'll stop aging. When? It is currently unknown….
Talent Weakness: Nai cannot have the regular elements, a result that makes sense if the chaos that results from her combination of void and energy is seen as her own, personal element. In addition, she must be in charge of her body while using her talent. She can use it with her sin (if she ever gets it) but the sin must not be the main conscious. When dealing with mages, necromancers, bards, and/or clerics, Nai must use 3/4 of the skill's energy instead of the usual half to disable their class-specific skills (note: class-specific skills refer to necromancer skills for necromancers, energy skills for arcanists, music skills for bards, etc.). Regardless of what her rank can learn, Nai is only able to learn chaos skills up to her rank. How did the character get this talent?: Nai has always had an unknown past, made even more mysterious by the fact that her first memories involve the blood and death of the constant slave battles she was forced to participate in. However, there is something special about her, present by the fact that she managed to survive the world she came from long enough to gain her freedom. This talent is also, understandably, connected to her unknown Quicksilver bloodline and will be her first hint of it: a mixture of void and energy that creates a chaotic element that is enough to slow down time. How she got either her talent or the bloodline, the girl doesn't know.
Sample: Nai dodged as many of the arcanist's Halcyon's as she could while disabling whatever she couldn't dodge. She had seen another arcanist use the skill before so the girl knew the "program" for the skill.
However, Nai had definitely never seen the large blast of energy that suddenly came to her from the side from what seemed to be a floating mirror of sorts. Apparently, the mirror was a custom weapon, explaining why the girl had been unable to identify the attack and, as she defended and dodged against the blows, she observed each attack from the mirror whenever she could. The task wasn't easy. With the seer still firing numerous halcons and with the moving mirror shooting out blasts whenever Nai least expected it, she became wounded quickly.
Finally, though, Nai learned the trick to the mirror blast and, rushing towards the mirror as it fired at her, stopped the energy blasting from it and smashed the reflective glass with her tonfa. The annoying weapon gone, the girl then looked around for the seer she had been in charge of tracking, only to find her target gone. Nai did nothing but look for a few more minutes before settling down to quickly deal with the numerous wounds on her body. She didn't worry too much about losing the seer. Her partner, who's job it was to catch the seer after Nai herded her to him, would be able to deal with the target.

RPC Name: Alucard (Vlad) Tepes Rank: Trainee (becoming novice) Talent Description: Manipulation of Shadows The talent grants the ability to manipulate shadows in various ways. Talent Weakness: These manipulations are made through skill usage, meaning I have to create each skill in order to use these manipulations. And a general rule for any shadow manipulating is its either your own shadow, which reduces range and capabilities with the skills, or other shadows around you. Which generally take more energy to use. In direct sunlight, or light in general, you can use skills that is limited to your own shadow, since light produces a shadow whereever you go. However, he also takes on another ability that vampires once held. He cannot cross large bodies of water, making travel to certain areas impossible without some form of transportation via vehicle or summon. Also, half of the energy used to use any of these skills comes from the blood energy count as well. How did the character get this talent?: Being stronger then most vampires, he has zero elements to utalize, making himself have difficulty in fighting those who specialize in using elements. To compensate for this, he learned to put energy into shadows using them in various ways. During his sleep, he gradually lost the ability to use this due to his loss of power. Now that he has been awakened and training, he's gradually regaining his powers. To regain this particular one, he'll have to be put into a life or death situation.
((He already was put into a life or death fight, and is currently having to capture two gargoyles and bring them back to nocturne in order to rank up. Once this is done, the ability will truely activate and I'll be able to create skills for the talent. This was to originally be with my current talent, only I wanted to gain this by training and experience. The no element weakness was a major one, so this somewhat makes up for the lack of elements since everyone can create many differnet combinations or powerful elements. Not to mention, he won't be able to use that lightning style Fenrir is making since its also an elemment. )) Sample: ((I'll use my rpc with a higher rank and some skills involving shadows so you can get an example))
Alucard looked up in time to see a huge wave of fire homing in on him. Tch.....so it comes to this he thought. Normally, if he had an element he would at least have some form of defense. But alas, he had none. The fire illuminated the darkness of night, casting long shadows to overcast the already standing shadows of the trees and rocks. Suddenly, before the wall of flames collided with the vampire a large wall of thick darkness formed between the two, holding of the flames. Alucard looked at the flames as they slowly faded away. Multiple shadows were stretched towards the wall from the trees and rocks, and slowly the wall faded. He continued looking at his attacker, who looked like they were in disbelief of what happened. "You have your element...I make up for the shadows..." He said as he approached his assailant. More blood will be spilt. It was this reason why he was once known as the prince of darkness, monster of the night and shadows. He was darkness, some would say. It lets him be on par to those who now use elements and creatures to fight their battles. As a scientist would say, the strongest are born by adapting.

@tenshi: Denied. Your weaknesses need work, especially since they either lack detail or can be easily bypassed. For example, the crossing large bodies of water isn't really a weakness since all vampires can transform into bats and fly around. Also you could easily make a summon to get over that weakness so it might as well not even exist. Also, you say these skills will cost more or less to use in certain situations but you never say exactly how much the difference is. Finally, what do you mean half the energy used to use any of the skills comes from the blood energy count?

@Fen:
I know, which this weakness will kill that skill for me to fly over bodies of water. He cannot cross large bodies of water at all if its from himself. Meaning no skill, summon of his, anything in relation to him from energy or anything will work. To get him across he'll have to get a ride via boat or soemthing. And if something happened to the boat, he'll be stuck until another can get him lol.
More or less meaning
Any shadow skill that involves the use of my own shadow is at most C rank and less. Anything beyond that is B rank and higher, which is for skills where the shadows don't need to be your own, generally your using shadows from other sources for bigger attacks
Half the energy, like if you used a vampire skill, it'll drain not only your energy but energy from the blood lust thing. That hunger system you have? And using these skills would result in half of the cost (say you use an E rank energy skill, you pay 10 with regular energy. But since vampire skills take away from that system, half of the e rank skill will be taken from that pool of energy...if that make sense....
If its still a no go, no problem. I would like to know if its possible to make skills anyways? It'll be teachable to other vampires and such, but I'll be fine with it if its still a no. Just testing the limits I guess you can say lol
