Kenta walked over to a wall when Sai had stated that he agreed to the terms that he would fight him in whatever form of combat he chose. He brought his hand up and bit his thumb before leaving a mark on the wall, two horizontal lines and two vertical ones. He then placed a large 'X' in the top corner of the grid that he had just created and stepped away from it, patting his hand against the wall, "You are physically stronger than me, and from what One-eye said you're the kind of person who wouldn't stop fighting until he was dead." He looked to the grid, "A game like this, you don't die and we're on a level playing field. We'll make it best of 3 so that your kid can continue to do his little side bets about how many rounds we go through and who scores the first win."

Oasis had lost track having more or less blanked out mentally for awhile. She shook her head to find herself over with Vyrin and Notwen in the corner, she looked around. That Sai person was there as well. Why was he here? Was it because of Vyrin? Why was he treating her Kage like that, hell why were men or boys always so rude to each other cant they just enjoying having a relaxing bath? Then what Vyrin was saying actually hit her "Hey, hey, don't talk like that." she states in a more hushed tone as she poked at both Vyrin and Notwen's ribs "Thats really rude you guys." she adds furrowing her brow in mild frustration with the two. Wait, did that Sai person just say her name? Did he have some kind of unheard communication with Vyrin or something or, why did he know their names? Yes it had completely left her current attention span that he was there on that island and he had likely heard Fuyu say her name as well as her saying Fuyu's name. She shook her head again and let out a sigh when it sounded like Kenta wasn't going to fight, was someone finally being level headed? However after some more bantering she found out, no that wasn't the case. They were simply figuring out how they were going to fight. at least it wasn't some kind of brutish physical combat? She sighed again and shook her head slowly, it was bath-time dammit couldn't they just have a nice bath?

Soba stared disbelievingly at the wall. Kenta had just made a tic tac toe grid on the wal and placed an 'x' in it.
"Hey!" said Soba rising in anger, pointing a his only index finger at Kenta. "Don't put your foot anywhere near my student, even if it is done as a joke! And how about you use your "hands and feet" speech and apply it to yourself? Do you, the Kazekage, truly expect these kids to fight someone of Lord Orasakai's level? Notwen actually tried, and look what happened to him!" he said, now pointing to the scar on Notwen's upper body. "Can you live with yourself if a similar fate befell Fuyu or Oasis?!"
"Sensei....." said Notwen speechless. He was surprised by his teacher's outburst, but that was not the reason he had spoken. "You're exposed." xd Soba realized this and plunged back into the water, sending a small wave in every direction.
"Oh! Thanks, N." sweatdrop
PostPosted: Sun Jul 04, 2010 4:33 pm

Kenta didn't turn his head to say anything, "So just because you have a scar means that you're the only one who's fought him and lost?" He slowly turned his head to look at the two for a moment, "I'm not any more interested in getting killed by purple hair than any of you are, and so far I'm the only one he's expressed any violent intentions towards, at least on this adventure into town."

"Think about why I'm saying the things I say instead of just the words I'm saying." His eyes turned from the teacher to the student and he spoke up in a more firm tone, "And don't insist that people fight a battle they will lose unless you're willing to fight it first."

He turned his attention to Sai again. He wasn't going to play. That was really asking too much. He probably saw through the simple ploy, that they would both tie forever, meaning that he'd effectively be keeping Sai right in front of him playing tick tac toe until he got frustrated and decided to leave on his own. Really, dealing with people that were too strong to fight with without a reasonable chance of victory was problematic. Akane was better at this sort of thing than he was.

((I like wasting time :3))

Sai sighed lightly and lowered himself to sit down, cross legged on the floor. With a bored finger he poked the floor once, twice, and on the third time he pierced the tilings as thought it was wet paper. "No more games, Kazekage. You may not like me, but you better learn to respect me more then that." He said with a bored yawn as he laid his head on his left first and allowed his eyes watch over the rest of the kids in the room. He shouldn't be surprised, this was just the exact thing Isato would have done to escape a fight with him. Find some game that he could win or at least not loose at so to save some face and a thorough a** beating. And then he had the gull to wonder why Sai was constantly hassling him for a fight. "If you want to have other people assist you, I wont complain. I'll stick to fighting by myself. But again... I say, if your not honestly interested in the information you keep asking about, and wish to avoid fighting with me... Shut up, and lets just enjoy this god damn bath." He said with another yawn as he eyed Soba with a silent threat.
PostPosted: Sun Jul 04, 2010 5:05 pm

Kenta stared at Sai for a moment, "What I am truly interested in is for you to not cause any trouble here. The last time you were here you caused rampant destruction for the entire time you were here, beat me and demoralized me, and threatened to do harm to my countrymen." He made a wave with his hand, "I want you to leave and take your kin with you before you decide to stop being as civilized as you've managed to be so far and start throwing a tantrum of chaos and damage because some old man isn't here to fight with you." He stared forward at him, "The reason I want to know where you are from is so that I can hold someone accountable for the destruction caused by the destructive natural force known as Sai, the purple haired man who likes to wander around villages and freeze anbu in place and bust shop windows like a rebellious teenager, but still has the audacity to call me childish."

He brought his hand up, placing his palm against his forehead. There were ways around this problem, "I want you to go away so that I don't have to fight you to the death to defend my village when you eventually grow tired of not causing trouble, because I respect that you are strong enough that it will probably be me who dies." He took a long breath, "If you want me to respect me then tell me where the ******** you live instead of being all 'hahaha, I'm going to run around with my son and leave the sand village as a pile of splinters in the sand and never have to face any consequences because no one knows where I came from'."

He shook his head, "How can I respect someone who acts the way you already have because he thinks that no one will be held accountable for the actions that he takes? You say I'm an immature brat? Look at yourself, and ask yourself if you've done anything to merit me treating you any way other than I have."

The Sky-Bird Messenger Quickly flew at top speed through the clouds as it stirred up waves of Sonic booms as it passed. Coming near it’s target, the Bird quickly shot forth at the speed of sound, Stopping in mid-air just before Spiraling down towards Kazekage and his guests. Just as the bird descended into the atmosphere A huge sonic boom was created between the ground and sky as all hell broke loose. For a moments time nothing could be heard or seen due to the heightened impact. Suddenly the bird popped back out of the ground and opened it’s mouth as a Written document Was shot forth the Kazekage, it was slightly static like due to the delivery. when Opened the message stated one thing.

”What is orange with one eye?”
PostPosted: Sun Jul 04, 2010 8:09 pm

Kenta's hand came up suddenly as the note shot out of the bird, catching the hand in his palm with a crack as the electrical energy was discharged by his own electrical chakra. He stared at the note for a moment as it opened in his hand all its own, exposing the message that was hidden inside. He looked at it for a moment and then sighed softly before closing his hand into a fist, and with a spark of his own, the message had turned into a puff of smoke and ash dust.

"Cryptic messages anyway..." He brought his hand up slowly and moved his fingers, letting the dust that had once been a message completely blow away. The moment had been rather anti-climactic given the argument that had been going on.

"...And don't insist that people fight a battle they will lose unless you're willing to fight it first." The statement filled Soba with rage.
"That's the same as saying 'Avoid a fight that you know you're going to lose'. To me that is the most selfish thing i have ever heard, and i wouldn't expect it to come out of my Kage's mouth. Is it, or is it not your duty to put your life on the line to protect your village?!" he shouted angrily. "Do you know the reason why i have one arm? It is because i chose to fight a battle i knew i would have lost for the sake of someone i cared about! Don't spout that selfish crap at any of us!"
Sensei... Notwen thought to himself. He had never seen his teacher so upset. The boy could empathize with his teacher because he'd been told the story. It appeared that Kenta really didn't know his subjects at all, which was sad.

Oasis remained quiet as she listened to the banter back and forth and it was starting to more than frustrate her some. Her eyes narrowed as she watched Sai and her Kage banter. Her eyes went from their sharp amber hue to a crimson red as she let out a low quiet sigh. not only was Sai a frustrating individual for the level of power she understood he had. Sai should leave quietly, or the Kage should find a way to make him leave, this was going to become an incident if things kept going the way they were. Something odd happened when a bird delivered a message, what the hell was that about? could it have been any less of an obvious intrusive message? She thought the idea was to be rather sneaky yea? That kind of message was to easy to know it was coming, and an appropriately skilled shinobi would be able to intercept such an obvious message. However as she was thinking about that Soba began to speak again. Perhaps to some degree he was correct about what he was saying. However first and foremost he was disrespecting their Kage. She clenched her jaw tightly. These people, they needed to knock it off and behave. "...How about just be quiet Soba..." Oasis states as she stared at him with piercing eyes. The blue markings on her body were beginning to react, if someone was paying close attention they would notice the very subtle glow that was starting to show on her markings. If she had to make them behave first, the first to be taught his manners would be Soba. It was one thing for a powerful outsider to challenge their leader, it was another thing for a member of the village to show such disregard for their leader, unless he intended to challenge the kage for his position. That was the only time it was acceptable, if he wasn't challenging the kage then he was just being disrespectful and he needed to be taught proper behavior.

"...How about just be quiet Soba..." Oasis had said. Notwen's head whipped around to face her. Who the hell did she think she was to talk to his sensei like that?
"Oasis, this has nothing to do with you. Sensei was just voicing his opinion, and i believe we're all entitled to freedom of speech. I would appreciate if you kept quiet and let the adults handle this themselves." he said. The orange-haired genin was going to say something else, but felt a hand rest reassuringly on his shoulder.
"Oasis is right, N. I was out of hand. I did disrespect lord Kenta, but you are wrong as well, Oasis. Don't forget that i am older than you as well as of higher rank." said Soba, staring coolly into the girl's red eyes. "Come on Notwen. I think we have bathed for long enough." Soba jumped out of the bath and draped himself in one motion, Notwen doing the same, which sent water splashing over Oasis' face.
"Agreed." he replied, not liking to be in water for extended periods of time. The duo walked past Sai and Kenta without saying a word to, or making eye contact with the latter.

In the dressing room, Notwen dried himself off with a new towel and dressed quietly. Soba noticed this and walked over to him.
"What's on your mind?" The genin held the forehead protector in both hands and looked at the strip of cloth that used to be Sai's shirt.
"I was thinking, maybe this village is just the place where my life as a ninja starts." he said, turning over the metal and cloth in his hands. "Sort of like a starting line."
"And where is your finish line supposed to be?" asked Soba, curious of what Notwen was thinking.
"It's actually not a physical place, Sensei. It's more of a place among society. I want to become a great person, an individual who others can look up to and depend on."
The chuunin smiled. "Oh, so you're aiming to become a Kage yourself, eh?" asked Soba unable to suppress the pride on his face. Naomi-sama, you have a splendid son.
PostPosted: Mon Jul 05, 2010 8:05 am

He sighed softly at the two of them left and then turned his eyes towards Sai again, "It seems that the children of the village want me to fight you to the death when all you've really done is generally be a pain in the a** and not listen to me when I tell you to go away." He seemed to pluck another toothpick out of the very air and slip it between his lips, chewing on it for a moment, "Interesting that someone who is apparently so interested in protecting the village would insist that we do battle and put everyone at risk with your over the top techniques."

He turned his eyes slowly to look back to Oasis and he bowed his head slowly towards her, "Sorry for ruining the atmosphere of your bath." He stretched a bit and then stepped into the water, moving over to a corner and sinking down into the water so that only his head was above the surface. He closed his eyes for a moment and then spoke up softly, "If you still insist that we come to blows in order for me to get any information from you then I'd ask you to hold off on any more of your threats or goading until after my bath." This was fair. If he was going to be made to work for his information he was going to make purple hair wait for their battle. He slowly opened his eyes to look at the purple haired man, "If you need to make preparations, I'll likely chose the desert over any training ground for our combat since it takes us away from the village."

As he sat there, letting the dust of the desert wash off of his skin, and leave his pores able to breathe once again, he thought about his new strategy. It was actually an old strategy. He played over the story of Musashi and his battle against Kojiro. It wasn't likely to give him much of an advantage, but it was better than nothing.

His mind also played over the words of Soba who had insisted that he rush off into battle not even concerned about his own life and limb. That was not correct. If he lost an arm then he would be ill equipped to stop the next person who showed up to challenge him. Protecting the village from one threat and then being left in a mangled state, unable to protect it again would probably kill him as sure as battling to the death. Also, as a rule, it was always better to attempt to discern a strategy that would yield victory than to charge straight into combat and be struck down by someone who was much more powerful than you, and as of yet, Kentaru hadn't been able to develop a new strategy. It was going to take some thought.

He hadn't liked the way that he had attempted to chew Oasis out for telling him to be quiet either. He was of a higher rank than her? As Kage he was the highest rank in the village and Soba had no argument in yelling and screaming about what he should do to him. He slowly opened his eyes and looked over to Oasis again, speaking up softly, in an attempt to try and improve the mood of the bath, "I have a feeling that you're going to make a very good Kage one day, Oasis." He smiled softly. It was really very true. While she could be a bit scatterbrained some of the time, she had the makings of a great Kage already. She moved from her heart and did what felt right to her. She also didn't seem to have much trouble in winding down, which was something that Kenta had been suffering from lately.

Sai waved away Kentaru's words like annoying nats buzzing around at his head with ill purpose. "If I remember correctly, I never attacked anyone. I was the one being attacked. Last time I checked, you were the one that pulled a weapon on me first. You are the fool that greeted me by calling me a 'Zombie', and continued on with an immature banter of name calling... But hey, I have to take some of the credit for going on with it." The man said with a soft sigh as he turned to look at Kenta with an indifferent look, "As for your... shinobi, that was on fault of my and for that, I will apologize and offer to pay any compensation. As well as the collateral damage done to that particular shop, but other then that I have done no wrong but protect myself and return the attempted verbal abuse to you...

As for that genin over there, he should have never attacked me as well. I did nothing nothing to antagonize him and yet he attacked me, he'll have to live with the consequences."
With another sigh, the man slowly and gingerly rose back to his feet, his hands running through his hair with an annoyed frustration. With a cold eye he turned to look at the other kids in the room before finally turning back to face Kentaru. "Now, stop acting as though I've been terrorizing and destroying everything I come in contact with. It's only you and your biased thinking that makes it seem that way. You already know why I am here, you told me you don't know, well I've already encountered somebody else that seems as though they might and now I'm looking for them. I have no intention of harming anyone unless they wish to harm me.

Now you want my background information? I'm challenging to fight me for it for the same reason why you choose tic tac toe. Neither of us wants to go through with it. You want to hold someone accountable, I'm my own person. I represent me. I face my own consequences, not some old, senile b*****d in some distant lands."

Vyrin cleared his throat uncomfortably as he slipped into the warm waters of the bath and sunk down until his head was half way submerged. This... was not what he wanted to do by far. All he wanted was to take a nice bath, get to know a few other people and make some friends. In basics have a nice day and now, it was turning out to be a ******** because two morons were being to stubborn to take the sticks out their a** and shut the hell up. With a gurgled sigh, he glanced over at Oasis and Soba. The mood of fun was done. There was no point in staying anymore, all that was going to happen was more arguments and possibly a fight. Not exactly his choice of spending the evening.

Sinking all the way beneath the water's surface, the boy swam the distance to the nearest part of the bath to the door. With a quick motion, he slipped out of the bath and made his way out after Soba and Notwen, himself making only a slight greeting to his father before continuing onto the changing room. Quietly, Vyrin glanced towards the two before continuing onto his own cubicle and changing rather quickly.

"I could careless what those children want. They're way to young to understand anything beyond their own grasp anyways." Sai said with his eyes following the direction Vyrin had went. Sucking in a deep breath he turned back to face Kentaru, "If you want my information that badly, fine. I shouldn't be to hard to find with my outstanding features, send message to the exact location... But you'll only find that no one holds authority over me but myself and the only road to holding me accountable for anything is get rid of that insulting tongue of yours and talk properly."

With a sigh he turned to face the young girl that was now by herself in the corner and gave her a deep bow. "Please forgive this old man for being part of the reason for your ruined bath. Do try to enjoy the rest of your day." Turning around quietly, Sai made his way out of the bathing room.

Oasis eyes tracked onto Notwen staring cold as ice through his demeanor she didn't say anything, and when Soba spoke himself she made it so she didn't have to speak. Notwen he kept proving himself an impulsive child who knew nothing of the world of the leaders of a village. This man Sai, and the initial challenge between him and their Kage, that was how the world of leaders worked. Powerful men would arrive and challenge a leader sometimes it wasn't to battle occasionally it was one of those strange battles of the will. More commonly referred to as 'a pissing match'. Her rank, what did that matter? She had simply spoke as the voice of reason against someone who obviously was more than a little bit a bone head. When you spoke against the highest ranking individual than you disgraced your position and no one else needed to respect it. When they splashed their way free from the bath the water didn't so much as touch her face as it split before her and fell to either side. Perhaps that battle between Fuyu and Notwen would need to be revisited later, maybe then he would learn some humility. It was one thing to be beat by a master who was far your superior it was another to be beaten by your equal in age, rank, and social position. The water around Oasis had heated up more as she allowed herself to slide back down into the water. She looked up as her Kage spoke and simply nodded to his apology for ruining the bath. However it was after he finished talking to Sai that he said something surprising to her. She let out a slow sigh and turned her head to look at Kenta "You, really think so?" she questions quietly a smile having returned to her face now. She hadn't considered being a kage, it always seemed like alot of work, and it would be really hard to keep everyone happy and getting along. Especially with other villages who would probably want to make trouble eventually. She returned to facing forward and grinned at the thought of her being a kage. With the hostile atmosphere decreasing the crimson faded from her eyes leaving them their usual bright amber color. She let out a little bit of a more frustrated sigh, more of a huff our pout really when Vyrin decided to take his leave and had left the bathhouse. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes before hearing Sai speak some more, she blinked her eyes open and looked at Sai. She smiled and nodded her head "You try to get along today too. Its a nice day, and you should make the best of it." she states lightly giving a short wave at Sai.

Kenta nodded softly when she asked him if it was really how he felt. He had closed his eyes and was relaxing in the warm water, "Yeah. Better than a hard headed brawler like me, that's for sure." The situation had not been the best, and there had been several moments in the heated argument where he had been ready to throw caution to the wind and have a brawl with that purple haired monster right there, but he had kept reminding himself that it wouldn't be good to show that kind of face in front of his students. It wouldn't be good to get so angry that he was ready to charge into a no-win scenario, and it would have been even less constructive to get his a** beat in front of all of them so that they could see their Kage in disgrace.

That was part of the reason that the things that Notwen and Soba had said had made him almost as angry as anything that Sai could have said. What good would have come from him getting into a fight with a stronger opponent and losing in front of everyone? It might have been different had he not been who he was, but the only way he did business most of the time was through fire and fists, and if everyone saw that he couldn't even do that, they would respect him even less than they did right now. He wasn't ready to let the sand village tumble into chaos or civil war while they debated whether or not he was still fit to lead the village. Every action had its consequences, and in this case he had decided that inaction had less of them.

He slowly opened his eyes again, looking up at the ceiling, "You any good with riddles?" He smiled softly and looked over to her, "That message from earlier was 'what's orange with one eye', and I have no idea what it was talking about." He chuckled softly.
