No one, I was just curious. I've been reading about dedication and it just seems a little...I suppose odd is the only word I can think of at the moment...I personally invoke a different God/Goddess depending on what the ritual is, unless it's a Sabbat, in which I just invite any God or Goddess...whoever wishes to attend really.
I do realise this might not make sense.

i found out over the weekend that my mother's side of the family has a history of talking to dead peopel/angels/ghosts/whatever. she was telling me this story about how her aunt cora, who was generally a very nice person, sudeenly became incredibly nasty one day. when asked about it, she said "my damn sister was supposed to take me shopping today!" her sister had been dead for 20 years. cora died the next day.
my question is, does anyone know if talking to dead people is a genetic trait? i know some people really enjoy having that gift, but i'm not one of those people. i've never seen a ghost in my life, and i'd much prefer to just hear about them in stories and such.

I'm not sure...I've seen a couple of ghosts and there is no history of seeing spirits in my family (that I know of). Still, that's quite creepy.

I'm not sure if it is or not either. Sorry I can't be of much help, hun. I think though that if you inherited the same gift, you would have seen something by now, but I could be wrong.

So, this is sorta an odd question i think. I did a binding spell to help my ex-boyfriend (we were dating at the time I did this) to not hurt himself or others, physically, mentally, emotionally, all that. I did everything as my book told me, which included wrapping tape around a belonging of his (i used his favorite pen), and everything went fine, but i'm not sure if ill know it worked. I did this in december last year and then after that we broke up, but he still texts me saying that he misses me and that he wishes he could still see me and stuff like that.
my family doesn't want me to hang out with him anymore even as friends because they dont want to see me get hurt by him, but if the spell worked, then wouldn't that not be a problem? or do i have to test it somehow? and how would i do that?

I'm not actually sure how you would test it. It shouldn't be a problem, but humans being what they are it could also be fallible for a variety of reasons. I'm not saying that you didn't try hard enough or failed in some way, so much as humans are complicated creatures for all of their often predicable ways and there can be something you didn't think of to cover, or any number of things really. I think that if he was a danger you might want to give him space, however; above all, YOU come first, and as noble as it is to want to help someone in that situation, you have to protect yourself as well.

in spanish last friday, i was sitting in the windowsill, and there was a big one clinging to the window behind me. i came home that day, and found lots of little ones hanging to the door. i spent the weekend studying in my room, and i could see some flying around outside, with a bigger one sticking to the screen. i'm being stalked by moths! lol. mrgreen
