Emily loved the way he kissed her on the cheek. It was so gentle, so soft... it did surprise her though. She was prepared for his arm, but the kiss... although, she did really enjoy it. She realized then that she needed to practice keeping her guard down around him. He was so full of surprises.
"I'm not nervous about screwing up, but you are right. I'm nervous about meeting Josh," she admitted, smiling.
She leaned onto him and rested her head on his shoulder. Yes, she wanted to kiss him, but then again... she didn't want to. It was confusing.
Just then, her phone buzzed in her pocket. She kept their position as she took it out. It was a text from Joanna. She unlocked her phone and opened the text. It was a picture of a very skimpy and see-through-ish black and purple bikini including black stilettos and black fishnet stockings. Under the picture, Joanna wrote: You like? It's one of your costumes for the performance ; )
Her jaw-dropped.
"I hope she's kidding!" she exclaimed, looking at Nich and showing him the text.

Nich looked incredulously at the picture and grimaced.
"You know i could give you all kinds of advice right now about musical integrity and stuff like that in order to acheive my own ends, but im going to be straight with you."
he cleared his throat in an over the top manner and had a comic seriousness when he began to speak.
"That, outfit is extremely slutty, and while i wouldnt mind seeing you wear it after today... i can only say that i may grow intensely jealous if others shared that privilege."
It felt good to tell the truth he realized. It was strange but he had been so quick to make up something to try and dissuade her from going on stage in that, he actually had come up with an argument and points to make. It seemed a little iincredible that he could so readily invent something he knew was complete bullshit, but a little scary too.
This truth thing felt kinda good though. Besides that he hoped that Emily would appreciate it.

Emily lifted her head off his shoulder and looked at him, stunned.
"I don't know what to say..." she admitted, a look of surprise, shock, and happiness on her face.
She was completely speechless. Yes, she appreciated what he said, but just how he put it... wow.
Her phone buzzed again, probably Joanna with another costume. She looked at her phone. Yepp, another text from Joanna. She opened it and it revealed a picture of an extremely small red dress, so it'd probably be skin-tight. It had a rip in the side going half-way up, it was bright red, and it looked really short. There was a pair of red sparkly stilettoes to go with it. Under the picture was a message from Joanna: Another one. Sexy, ain't it?
Her jaw dropped yet again.
"What is she trying to make me? A complete slut?" she was a tad offended, and showed Nich the picture.

Nich smiled at her, since he was trying the honesty thing on for size he figured he would try and ride the wave and just say what he thought.
"Ya i cant say im too partial to that one either.... well thats not to say im not partial to it, but you know what i mean."
He winked at her and squeezed her a little in a small display of affection. He was intensely happy to be himself. It was strange but he had grown into such a miser he hadnt really let anyone talk to the real Nich in a long time.
"Im kinda partial to ripped jeans and leather jackets on ym women but thats just my taste.. as far as trying to look cool goes anyways... looking sexy on the other hand... that first one would definately do the job."
He laughed openly at his own joke and ran his finger idly up and down the back side of her arm.

Emily smiled at him.
"Well maybe, I just might get that first costume from Joanna and we can test it out," she said teasingly, with a smile to match.
She hit the reply button and sent: Joanna, I know you work the corner and everything, but I don't. Those costumes don't fly XD
As soon as that went through, her phone buzzed again. Cautiously, she opened the text. It was Jack, and it read: i do not find these costumes very appealing. i will be upset if you wore them.
She sighed and rolled her eyes. The way she held her phone, the text was completely visible to Nich.

Nich didnt much enjoy the fact that he felt the need to read the text on her phone but she could have hidden it if she wished, and prying was only wrong if you felt guilty about it. Lucky for Nich he rarely regretted his actions.
"Im guessing thats mister trial to come... He has terrible taste any guy should be more than happy to see you in something like that."
Nich wasnt too sure how well he would fly with Emily's friends. They seemed like good enough people, but something was rubbing him the wrong way about the whole situation. Maybe something about emily told him he wouldnt fit in with her crowd.
"O and hey you better watch your jokes missy, you never know what ill take seriously... im not always gonna have ultimate self control you know."
He was completely kidding and his grin had broadened to show it. He was having an intensel good time providing social commentary on emily's life.

Emily looked at Nich and smiled at what he had to say. His commentary was always hilarious, which was always welcomed.
"Well, I think it's the idea of other guys seeing me in those outfits is what'll upset him..." she said cautiously, slowly glancing to her phone and back to Nich.
A crazy thought came to her mind, and she was curious to see how much of her jokes he could take... although she knew he was kidding. But something about him made her feel that he wouldn't fit in with her group... which was a depressing thought.
Anyways, she tapped the reply button and said: what r u trying to do? make me choke myself? loosen up the collar sum. a dog wants more than three feet of leash XD
She was a little nervous about the text, since she knew Nich'd be able to read it, but oh well. Curiousity never killed the cat, but it just might in this case.
Emily looked at Nich apologitically.
"Sorry, just had to add that."
Quickly after saying that, she kissed him, straight on the lips, as her phone buzzed. Absorbed in the moment, she ignored it. Joanna can wait.

Nich's eyes widened for a moment before he reacted. It was a constant surprise being around Emily. he never knew when he could take liberties with her, but she didnt seem to mind taking those steps on her own. It immasculated him a little giving emily so much control over the affection they could share, but he figured it was probably good for him to not be in control once in awhile.
He kissed her back softly and fell back to lay down while pulling emily on top of him kissing her the entire time. He pulled both arms around her and ran his fingers lightly up and down her back. He felt intensely warm and wasnt sure what had brought this on.
After the kiss he let his arms fall and hoped more than anything she would lay her head on his shoulder so he could hold her for a little while.
The sun was about to set and they really should be climbing down the mountain, but he just wanted a few more moments of jubilation.

Emily was kind of really surprised at both his, and her own actions. She had no idea what brought on the kiss, though of course she did love every moment of it.
When he laid back and pulled her onto him, she didn't refuse. The kiss felt so great and she felt so safe with him. Not to mention him running his fingers down her back. That sent shivers up and down her spine.
She regretted when the kiss ended. She wished it could've lasted longer.
Maybe it didn't have to end...
Hoping she wasn't pushing his hormone limit, she put her hands on either side of him onto the ground, pushing herself up and placing her legs on the ground on either side of his waist, sort of straddling him, in a way. As she sat on him, she took a minute to scoop her hair and place it over one of her shoulders. Than, slowly, she bent down and kissed him again.

Nich closed his eyes and kissed her back. The way things were happening though he wasnt sure what he could do to stop his mind racing.
His heartbeat quickened and his hands gained a bit of a shake to them. He could feel the veins throbbing in his arms and eyes, and soon all over his body. His temperature began to rise and soon the air seemed frigid to him.
Other body parts obviously reacted and Nich hoped against hope that she couldnt tell, but a subconcious part of him kinda hoped she could. Memories from this past afternoon flashed through his mind, but outwardly he kissed her softly and held her hips gently.
He was trying really really hard not to ******** this up, but he wasnt sure how long he could stay like this and not act on it.

Emily couldn't help but enjoy this. Who wouldn't? This was frightening, but she felt comfortable. After a moment, she could tell a certain part of him was reacting strongly to this, and she couldn't help but smirk, yet feel terrified.
Her mind was racing, along with her heartbeat, but she wasn't sure what she wanted to do. One part of her mind was yelling to at least get off the poor guy, while another part of her was saying to go for it.
Not knowing what to do was frightening.
Going against every grain of her fiber, she stayed on him. Though, she did stop kissing him.
"Are you alright?" she whispered gently in his ear.
A part of her hoped that he'd tell her to stop, while another part kind of wanted him to tell her to keep going. The whole guy thing was just so confusing.

"Emily..."
Nich looked sideways at her hoping that she wouldntnotice his dilated pupils. She was really close, and he could feel her harried breath. His heart slwed down then. He knew what his body wanted, but what he wanted was completely different.
He just wanted her to be happy.
"Emly, im am far better than okay."
He kissed her softly then and ran his fingers through her hair. He kissed her down her cheek and onto her neck. He wrapped hsi other arm around her and held her close to him.
His heartbeat went up again and his breathing quickened and his temperature went up but he was in complete control if only because emily needed him to be.

Emily liked the way he kissed down her neck but her body tensed up. Was she really doing this? Was she really laying ontop of a guy, being held down close to him, and allowing him to kiss her like this? Wow... this was a total leap of faith for her.
"Glad to hear it," she said, and kissed him again.
Realizing how dark it was, she stopped.
"We really should get going..." she said, not wanting to move, but thinking it best to get going. (happy Valentine's Day! sorry I didn't post sooner...)

Nich sighed, this is where he was about to do something rash and foolish. He really hoped it didnt sound like he was rrying to trick her.
"Well Emily thats a problem, we have two choices, one is to run and hope we get down the mountain and out of the woods before the sun sets, We may make it, but if we dont then we're ******** because there is absolutely no light polution out here and we wont be able to see anything."
He gently moved her aside after kissing her one more time and sat beside her.
"Or we could start a camp-fire and sleep here on the blanket i have in my pack. It may not be the most comfortable thing in the world, but you did just climb a mountain barefoot."
He looked down at her and sighed.
"I swear this isnt some elaborate plan to get you to sleep with me, ill sleep on a rock ten feet away if you want, but we would just get more lost and probably hurt if we climbed down in the dark."

"Well...that's just too bad for them then. I have the great opportunity to tell them about your new and VERY protective boyfriend. Yours truly." TOP backed up and looked into her eyes, a boy-ish grin spread across his lips. He felt bad for making her cry and wiped at the tears that ran free down her cheeks. His fingers were gentle as they worked and he kept a smile on his lips the entire time, finding it easy as he was looking at Abby anyhow.
"It's okay Abby....I won't let anything happen to you and if it means taking your dad on then I'm all for it." Tae spoke truthfully, knowing that he'd do basically anything to make Abby happy again and to see her pearly white smile. It never ceased to make him smile as well, her happiness was contagious and it seemed that she could use a huge dose. Tae leaned down and placed a gentle kiss atop her head, just for comfort. Abby didn't look like she wanted a big romantic kiss right then.
