Lucus took notice of Vempyremon and knelt down with his back to her, "Climb on. I'll give you a piggy back ride the rest of the way back if you want." While he was worried about Akita his mate of course came first. "I know very well that you are tired so this will be best for you, all you'll have to do is hold on." He remained still and waited for her.
Akita didn't mind what route was taken at this point. The risk or the view was trumped by the need to get away cleanly. "Even if we do get out alright and unseen. There are more than one person within the house who know what has happened. If any of them should say anything it won't matter in the end." Even though she had no idea who would say anything. Or if anybody even would. Either way Akita still hadn't the slightest clue about the entire incident. She fell quiet for a moment, she pondered everything for a moment but had far from enough pieces to the puzzle to figure the slightest thing out at this point in time.

Vempyremon giggled a little bit. It's been so long since she actually had a piggy back ride. Unfortunate to say that Kain was the last person to give her one, way before they met Lucus and Akita. He always babied her so much before...before all of this. When she actually believed and thought of him to be a fatherly figure towards her. Vempyremon's giggle didnt last long and was stopped by an oncoming tear, which she quickly hid by quickly climbing onto Lucus' back. It gave her a horrible chill. She felt sick suddenly, as well. It surely wasnt because of any pregnancy, though.
Kain pretty much knew his way back now that they were outside, even though he still didnt know where he was, and made sure to hide as much as possible until they got back. His scratches still stung with some uncertainty and yet he still doesnt know where he got them, despite the fact that he's been scratched by Vempyremon so many times before. "Zhat's vhat door locks are for. I vould at least...at least try to keep you vith me as long as I can." Kain growled, still with thoughts of Lucus being seemingly selfish flooding his mind.

"Up we go." Lucus stood up slowly making sure he had a good hold of Vempyremon in case her own grip faltered at any point in time since she was so tired. "Do you wish to sleep any once we get back?" He questioned as he resumed walking, her on his back now. Lucus may not have been sizable in build but he'd earned a bit of strength, especially since he never knew when Acheron would attack again, if he decided to. And he knew that if it did happen, he wouldn't have Akita's help to rely on for aid now. She'd paid her brother's debt already. Even if he'd taken something no cleared debt could bring back. "I was cleaning while you were away.. I found something.. That brought back memories that were quite dear to me," He mumbled somewhat as he walked along the streets back to the manor.
Akita nodded. "Even if they do wish to more me I shall not listen to them.." She raised a hand to stroke Kain's goatee softly, "This move has made me quite tired.. I do not wish to do it again anytime soon. At least until I have my strength back. This has all quite taken it's toll on me but it shall be quite worth it in the end once I have regained all my strength. One body supplying for 6 others isn't exactly an easy task." She gave a soft and quick laugh following her words.

Vempyremon was hoisted up off the ground, and it definitely wasnt the most muscular ride she's had, but she didnt have to walk anymore. She's had enough for one day. Vempyremon sighed a little and tried to make a joke out of her response. "Why? Where you planning to work me? Make your dinner for you, huh? Or a bit of more house cleaning?" While she was back there, she took the time to bite at Lucus' pony tail, finished biting at it, then rest her head with what she could against his shoulder. "You have a nice butt." It felt like a coincidence. They were both thinking of their own memories. Any more of these thoughts, she'd either burst into some more tears or shrivel up from the lack of them.
Kain slowed down a little bit, assuming that they werent anywhere near anyone else for the moment. He shuddered from the touch on his goatee, as sensitive as it was...it was like it had a mind of it's own. But that was kind of creepy. "Ja, verstanden. I vill add more locks to zhe door, zhen." Kain's eye twitched a little bit from his own rage, still continuing on inside his head. He kept telling himself that he would be there for Akita when the time came and he wasnt going to miss it. If he did just because of Lucus, he told himself that he would definitely take the risk to trying to kill the b*****d and become an outcast for revenge. Kain didnt bluff. He was a doer, not a talker.

Lucus couldn't help but give a soft chuckle, "No, I had no work in mind for you. Ca-Talia and Ooy could easily take care of anything like that." He turned his head a bit trying to look over his shoulder at her when he felt something chomp down on his hair. He quite liked his hair after all, "Make sure that is still attached. And... A nice butt?" He made a bit of a face having never really heard that one before.
"Your goatee is soft.." she smiled softly at him. "I'm sure just the sight of you will send Lucus running for the hills. You're much bigger than my brother." Akita knew that Kain had probably never met Acheron, she didn't want him to anyways. Aside from the odd mention of him off and on, he didn't exist to her. He'd caused her so much grief through her life just the thought of seeing him made her want to make him lose a few teeth.

"It's still there..." Vempyremon smiled only a little bit and combed her fingers through the bottom part of his pony tail before her smile faded again. There was just too much stress going on right now for her to keep a full smile. She moved her head down from his shoulder, since it was hard to keep it anchored there, and just settled it somewhere along his shoulder blade for the mean time 'till they got home.
Kain growled. "He hasnt run yet. I'm hoping he does soon." It was then when Kain saw the top of their house over yonder. It was nearby. Sort of. He had to maneuver through the trees to get to it and slip inside. Still, he tried to hurry, but at the same time, he tried not to, for fear of tripping with Akita. Even if he wasnt clumsy, it could happen. "Perhaps, I should build myself to become even bigger. Zhen, he'll run." The house was in sight now, and with one last moment of securenes, Kain bolted for the door and managed to open it up to meet an Abel just about to walk out of the house.

"Good then." Lucus gave a faint smile feeling her trying to get comfortable. He didn't say much more after that and instead focused on getting Vempyremon back home where she could rest properly and be waited on while she recovered either physically or.. mentally. Thoughts ran through his head about what could have happened if his sister had lived, if she had been impregnated by Acheron. Just that was enough to turn his stomach and give him an odd sense of relief that she had not lived to make to the end of that night.
"I'm sure all you have to do is give him the right look and he'll run for the hills." As the reached the house and Abel came into sight her ears perked up a bit as her attention turned to him. "Oh Abel! If you intend to leave for a short while I fear you may not be able to get back in. Kain seems to want to deadbolt the door shut."

Abel halted for a minute and looked at the two. He had been there when Akita was taken out of the house. He wanted to interfere, but knew he would get in trouble if he went against the 'royal court'. "Um..." It was a bright and sunny day and the beginning of Spring. Abel wanted to be a part of that warmth and soak in the sunlight. So, yes, he planned to leave, but didnt expect Kain to come back with Akita. "Yes. I was leaving. I havent seen you all night, Kain. Did you fall asleep in the grass or something?" Last Abel saw Kain was staring up at the sky, since he always told his brother of the star that reminded Abel of him. He supposed he just wanted to find it.

Akita tilted her head a bit, "I haven't the slightest idea where Kain came from. I was resting in my old room at Lucus' manor when Kain found his way in and escorted me home. Lucus wasn't there to argue, he'd taken Vempyremon to the doctor. Lance said she was feeling ill. She was in as bad condition as Kain is though from what I saw.. it is a bit suspicious but there was no time to question. Lucus had left with her as quickly as he had appeared to greet me in my room." Akita let a soft sigh, Abel didn't seem to have much insight as to what was going on with the situation either.

Abel put his hand to his chin and stared at the scratches. They seemed familiar. Too familiar. The mark and the way they were so clean and so deep...Abel seemed to recognize them, but it wasnt his place to assume. "Hmm..." Purposely, Abel jabbed a finger at one of the scratches, hoping to annoy Kain in a 'brotherly' way. Kain was stressed enough as it was with a horrible headache and trying to keep Akita away from Lucus. "Must be that werewolf bat thing running around. Did you hear? They must have fallen victim to it. Do you remember, Kain?" Of course, Kain shook his head. He didnt remember anything since then. All he remembered was staring up at the sky for quite some time. "Either way, miss Akita, you need to rest. Now. I advise it. Tell Kain to take you to your bed immediately. You can call me if you need anything. I'll be around." Abel gave a friendly smile to Akit and pet Kain on the head before scooting past them to get some fresh air.

"The werewolf bat..? I've only ever heard mention of that beast.." She looked up and Kain and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek. "Alright Abel. Kain, you need some time to relax, and I need rest. Soon it will be time but it is the young who will decide when that is. I must get as much rest as possible to be prepared.." As excited as she was for that time, she couldn't help but feel a deep nervousness.
Finally arriving back at the manor Lucus stopped and stood at the top of the steps. "My door.... My door! Who in the hell would get it in their mind to do this to MY DOOR!" Still holding Vempyremon on his back he stormed closer to is, "They will surely cover the cost of this repair out of their own pocket no matter how poor the piss-ant is! OH JUST WAIT UNTIL I FIND YOU!" Standing just inside was Lanie staring the poor door in quite a mesmerized manor.

It wasnt even Kain who was giving birth and he felt just as nervous and ill about it. He's the brave, uncowardly-type, and hard to break. This was his first litter; that's his excuse. He didnt know what would happen. Quickly after Abel's leave, Kain entered the house and shut the door. Still holding Akita, he carefully used one hand to try and lock the few locks on the door. There needed to be more, but he would have to worry about that later. After the door was locked, Kain made his way to the upper room upstairs. Now, Akita's weight was getting to him. He endured this much, but now his arms were about to give out. Kain hurried up the stairs with Akita and kicked open the room door that was shut, entered and plopped Akita down on the soft, fortunately, bouncy bed before his arms gave out on him. Though, he tripped over his own foot in the process and nearly fell on top of Akita if it werent for his arms catching himself. Despite the close call, he kind of enjoyed looking at Akita from above her, hovering over like a bridge or a poorly built shield.
Instantly, Vempyremon snapped to. Not like she was sleeping to begin with... She looked around and looked towards the direction of the squawking. There was a door. And it was in poor condition. She struggled to get off of Lucus' back and step closer to investigate out of curiosity. Vempyremon saw Lanie there and just stared. "Perhaps you were right, Lucus. Lanie has some sort of hulk-genes within her and I think she finally snapped."

Even if being in Kain's arms was comforting the softness of the bed felt nice again. "Thank you Kain." She smiled, letting a soft gasp slip when Kain tripped over his own feet, "Now now!" She giggled, "So nervous that you can't stand up? Or are you just that excited?" She teased him playfully trying to lift the mood at least a little. Of course a lifted mood was easier for her even though that bit of curiosity was nipping at her the entire time.
"Lanie? Lanie did you do this to the door? I can't believe Lance would do a poor job of watching you!" He teased the poor girl despite his anger about his door.
"NO NO! But...." Lanie put a finger on her chin and squinted her eyes, "I think it may have been the boogie man who took the lady with babies away!"
Lucus raised an eyebrow, "The boogy man who took the lady with babies away..? What boogy man...?" He knew children could have vivid imaginations but this had caught his attention.
"The.. the one who had fur on his chin! And scary black lips! He was angry! And he hit some green guy really really hard then left with the lady who had babies!" Lanie had no clue that she had just given away that Kain had come and left with Akita.

Whatever it was, Kain felt safe for the moment that he was out of that manor and had Akita back safely. Despite how much he wanted to rest, he wanted to spend his resting time watching Akita and protecting the door. By now, someone must have gotten home and seen the damage he did to get to Akita, but he tried not to worry about it in the least. Kain still propped himself up above Akita and put his head down a little bit to kiss her. It felt as if it calmed him down a little bit, so Kain went for another kiss. Of course, gravity was leaning down on Kain, and made his hair fall all over Akita's face like a black veil. Before his arms collapsed underneath him, he found a space besides Akita to lay down and run a hand up her arm. Yeah, it was true. Kain was a doer and not a talker.
Vempyremon immediately understood it. There was only one Noct that fit that description. Instead of saying anything, she put a hand against her face, while the other was put on her hip. This was going to get worse faster than it was going to get better, and there was some strong feeling that Vempyremon couldnt get rid of that half of this was her fault. If only she wouldnt have snuck out of the manor. And at night. She really didnt want Kain to be blamed for all of this.

Akita returned each of Kain's kisses with a smile. In an odd way not being alone was still new to her.. it felt almost alien and awkward to have somebody dote and care for you like this when all she had known was abuse and serving others. She had felt so cold and distant that whole time. But laying here with Kain like this, knowing she was to be a mother, it had given a warmth to her. A feeling she hadn't had in so very long. "Kain.." she spoke softly as she looked into his eyes with a gentile smile, "Promise you will help the little ones when it comes time for them to learn to fly? I will quite enjoy watching them put their wings to use."
Lucus stared at Lanie trying to piece together who she was talking about... "Kain...? Kain broke my door? Oh geeze. Great. I should have saw that one coming. Greeeeat and he took Akita. Last thing I wanted." He sighed and turned to look down the steps. He knew there was no way he could bring Akita back at this point in time, especially after being lectured by Cameron about not moving Akita again.
