ҪнɭσӚ ϐӚηηӚʈʈ тʜӚ ώӚɼӚɭɪση Chloe titled her head to one side in consideration. She wanted to laugh at that. He was so naive. He believed that people wouldn't hurt just because they wanted to? Just because they could? Chloe'd been stripped of that kind of innocence and naivety at a young age. But he was older than she was and he still had it. Life would change that about him.
In response, Chloe stood up as straight as she could. While she was in this form, her body seemed to want to crouch down all on its own. She didn't like the tone of his voice. He was speaking like you would to a small, stubborn child.
"Don't patronize me," she hissed. Her voice was exotic. It reminded you of the heat. Of the blazing sun, the endless sand that made up the desert. It also reminded you of chili peppers and salsa, as if she would taste spicy if you were to kiss her. Only this kitty didn't want to be kissed.
Then Chloe felt a prickly down her spine. It was the feeling she always got when she was being watched. Her eyes flicked around, trying to see if another being had joined the little meeting. She saw none, but then her eyes caught something silver.
She turned her head and saw a security camera bolted into a tree aimed at them. The little blinking light told them that it was on. Another roar came from her throat as she leapt up into the tree. Her claws smashed through the camera, leaving only a small broken edge attached to the tree.

In fact, she reminded Tara of the werewolf under her care, Amaya. Except this one was much more cat-like in a sense. Another breed of lycanthrope then? Either way, it was a rather entertaining view that she kept in her memory, just in case said person decided to try her luck and enter. Of course, if blood was shed, that would also force the demonic millionaire into action granted the circumstance. So with the visual gone, she heightened up the other sensors int he area so she could still hear them, but not see them. "Merely a trick of the trade dear pet. One of several you may end up learning one day." The demon winked, obviously pleased by the compliment. She knew those words were quite truthful, although when they would come into play would be up to debate. However, those thoughts were wiped away when Ava brought the enchiladas. Tara nodded in response to Ava's question, testing some of the dish before lighting up cheerfully. The still hot food practically melted in her mouth much to her delight. "Delicious. Who knew you had such a talent for other styles of cooking?" After a moment's pause to take another bite, she looked back to her only human servant. "Can something be sent for both Damian and Amaya? I'd watch out for the former though, I have a strong feeling he's in a bad mood." She requested, disliking the idea of them not having any decent food yet. It would be a waste of such skill otherwise.

She opened her mouth to add something else, but stopped when a scent of food drifted to her from the house. She knew that smell. Chicken, cheese, onions, chili peppers, garlic powder. They all added up to one thing: enchiladas. Chloe's mother had made enchiladas all the time. Before she'd been killed.
Chloe could picture her mother in kitchen, smiling as she pulled the Mexican dish out of the oven. The image was so strong that she had to rub her eyes to get it out of her head.
