Shadowfrost perched himself upwards and let out an intense moan. He looked at the other cats and presumably nodded although he didn't pay much attention to them. He was out to find survivors in other territories.

Cinderkit's ears pricked up as she heard the alarm cry. Another cat dead? She jumped up and ran out of the nursery, ready to see all of Twilightclan dead as well. To her relief, they weren't. But Waterpaw was screaming about some cat dying. She spoke aloud to herself. "Are they going to attack here too?" She glanced at the other kits playing. They had no idea of the horror going on around them. She suspected that she wouldn't either, if she hadn't watched it happen.

Stormstar didn't wait for Waterpaw to reply. She dashed out of camp, following her deputy's scent trail. She stopped at Silverfur's body, broken and crumpled. She gasped, and stuck her nose into the tabby fur.
After a few minutes, she sat up and padded to Dew Rocks, lying down close to the WillowClan border. "What will I do?" she asked in agony. "LakeClan is gone, and-" She was cut of by a battle cry. She sat up, scared that the mud warriors would go after her next.
She looked across the border, realizing that the cries were coming from the camp of WillowClan.
Stormstar yowled in fright and dashed to camp. "Snowstorm, Patchfur, Shadowfrost, Darktail, Daypaw!" she yowled, calling the cats to order. "I believe that WillowClan might be attacked by these Mud Warriors! We must go to WillowClan and help them in their time of peril!"
Stormstar thought quickly. "Silverfur has been killed by something, so I must choose a deputy! Shadowfrost will be your next deputy!" she finished, realizing she hadn't said the ceremony right, but she didn't care.
Stormstar padded out of the camp, taking toward DewRocks.

Berrypatch called her kits in when she heard the yowling. Spottedkit quickly crawled from under hi9s siblings and dashed into the nursery. Crowflight heard the yowling and the announcement of Silverfur's death. This is my fault! I didn't follow Silverfur fast enough and now she's dead! He raced out of the TwilightClan camp and followed his leader's voice into a new land with scents of cats and something very strange.

Crowflight returned to the camp with the lifeless body of Stormstar on his back. He placed her in the middle of camp, and yowled loud enough for all to hear. "TwilightClan," He announced, trying not to stop his voice from quivering, "Stormstar is dead!"

((Meh, it's not really worth anything, so you can have it now. whee And Shadowstar, Waterpaw needs a mentor.))
Waterpaw's eyes widened as she heard the news about Stormstar. She looked up towards Silverpelt and sighed. "What'll we do now, StarClan?" She padded towards Shadowfrost. "You're the new leader of TwilightClan." She mewed. "I'll escort you to go get your nine lives." She offered.

Cinderkit watched as Stormstar's body was placed in the center of the camp. It was just one more tragedy...

((Gosh, I've been gone for awhile. No computer time whatsoever...))
Heronkit kept trying to think about anything other than everything that had been happening. All the death happening so suddenly was a shock. Everything was a shock. The only pleasent news were the new cats and Darktail's ceremony. "Auugh, I need to get out of here for awhile..." She knew the trouble she could get into for leaving without permission, but she didn't care. She couldn't take the sadness and tragedy. She looked left and right, then began moving towards the entrance to the camp.
After leaving, she began wandering around the forest, and taking in the environment. "I've never been out of camp." she said to herself.

Cinderkit lowered her ears. It was dangerous to go out! And now Waterpaw and Shadowfrost were leaving on their own! She crept back to the nursery. She was scared. What if the mud cats attacked Twilightclan? Would the forest ever be safe again?
(Are the mud cats going to attack Twilightclan? I'm waiting for an opening for Phantom and Cooper.)

((I'm thinking more along the lines of ravaged by mysterious disease and natural disasters, along with a few mud warrior attacks on individuals.))

Waterpaw padded back into the camp, with the newly named Shadowstar by her side. "Shadowstar has his nine lives!" She mewed happily.

Darktail shook his head as he padded back into the camp. There's no way we could've won the battle. He thought as he nodded to Shadowfrost. "All is lost." He mewed. "There's no hope of anyone winning. It's a pointless battle."

Shadowstar nodded to Darktail. "Thank you for reporting back to me." He mewed. He looked to Waterpaw, and Daypaw, who were both missing mentors because of deaths of their mentors. He padded back to the Highrock.
"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather!"
Then he waited for everyone to gather beneath, and started.
"We have two apprentices that are missing mentors, and we are missing a deputy." He began. "It's true that TwilightClan has been weakened, but we will be strong once again. I say these words before StarClan, so that they may hear and approve of my choice. Darktail will be the new deputy of TwilightClan." He mewed. He stopped as he heard Waterpaw challenge him. "Yes, I know that Darktail only just became a warrior, and he doesn't have an apprentice, but that is solved. Daypaw." He mewed, looking at the apprentice. "You have suffered a lot, losing your mentor, Stormstar. But now, you will have a new mentor. Darktail will be your mentor." He mewed. "And Waterpaw, don't think I've forgotten you. Your mentor will be me. You have learned to grin it and bear it, losing your entire Clan to mud monsters, but what's done's been done. It can't be reversed." He mewed, touching his nose to the young apprentice.
