Natalia sighed. "I was afraid you'd say that... both of you." She put it on over her neck. Well, it had responded to Kindle's spoke command, so she spoke to it. "Unless I say otherwise, you only take orders from myself and Daemon. No telling what the other two will ask for.

"Smart, though," Daemon retorted, not adding that she shouldn't have keyed him into the thing as well. He could do a lot with that kind of power, and none of it pleasant.

A blast of light came from the necklace and illuminated the map.
"Right!" Ks exclaimed. "We have a map!"

With a sigh, Daemon took the map and looked at it.

Ks blinked at Kindle. "You.... you'd be my friend?" She asked, wide eyed.
Natalia moved to look over Daemon's shoulder.
The map showed them at one end, the foe at the far end, his little X marking the spot dancing in place, as if to mock them. the dotted line between them twisted and turned over a great deal of unfortunate looking terrain. But between dream logic and the pendant, the trip was truncated as the line between the necklace and the map intensified until the map was to bright to see clearly any longer.
