My mom doesn't care what I listen to, but she doesn't really like it. Every time she walks in the room and my J-rock music is playing, she just looks at me funny, does what she wants to do, looks at my CD player funny, and then walks out... sweatdrop

However, my grandparents and just about everyone else in my family (excluding my brothers) think I'm being corrupted, and that I've gone insane for liking music that isn't country. Ah well. Whatever makes them happy, I guess.

Most of my friends don't care either because I got most of them into J-rock. (Go me!! ^_^)

My firends think they'er cool and my mom licks them too

Oh em gee.

I have to share this with you because it was one of the better moments of my day.

So my mother and I are fighting about god knows what, and for some reason Dir en grey pops up on my media-player and I of course mutter something to myself about Die's birthday coming up, and she starts throwing a fit. Says, "You shouldn't celebrate people's birthdays who don't celebrate them with you."

And I looked at her.

And I said, "Happy Freakin' Birthday, Jesus."

And then I won, and all was good.

My Mom really loves Gackt and has a crush on Hyde! xd eek (L'Arc~en~Ciel)
I then decided I needed to get her to listen to some Diru...but seeing as they're more hard rock than Gackt and Hyde it was rather difficult. I played Ain't Afraid to Die for her and she liked it and said it was beautiful, then I kept trying and picked out a few more...softer ones. (I don't think she'd like any screaming. crying ) So I played Cage...there was no comment. sad
Oh well, I tried...and I will keep trying! xd I also played Kasumi and Amber a few days ago...but I don't think she was really listening.

At least my Mom accepts me listening to Japanese music. She doesn't object or think I'm weird because they sing in Japanese...because well, she likes Japanese music as well. xd
My Dad on the other hand...doesn't really understand why I like Japanese music. But seeing as I've been obsessed with Japanese stuff all my life (anime and such) he's kinda accepted it. xD
My Grandmother doesn't like Japanese people, because of World War II (She is English and lived through the war) I'm sure it must have been horrible during the war...but I think she needs to get over it. It's just music. whee

My friends hate anything JRock. If I mention one thing about Dir en grey or Gackt or hide they get this annoyed look on their face.
I once said to my friend "Hey, your hat kinda reminds me of one hide wore... surprised " She groaned and took her hat off and said she didn't want to wear it anymore. crying They think I've turned evil or something...it makes me sad. Though one of my friends doesn't mind JRock and loves seeing people's reactions when they realise the people posted in my locker are guys. xd

Did you really? I think I'm going to drag my Kyo plushie to school with me when it's his birthday.

Yeah, I have a Kyo plushie I made and a Kaoru plushie my friend made as a gift. They don't make Diru plushies as far as I know. S:

My Kyo's probably going to have to have a face lift before he meets the public again. sad

My little brother hate Dir en Grey but as for my mom and dad they never even saw an PV or an live.

And I'm planning on keeping it that way 3nodding
