[12th Division Labs]
User ImageHei gave Tomomi a small wave as he left, and returned to the document he had been reading beforehand. The moment he was done and the information was committed to memory, he abandoned the documents for the moment. Taking Tomomi's words to heart, Hei decided to do something about the documents in the room. Almost immediately, rods of light began to form in the air, stretching across the steel crates and forming light barriers around them. As for the documents on his desk, the same thong occurred. These barriers were quite strong and were not so much unlike Kido. The fact that his Reiryoku control was so fine-tuned, much more so than a normal Captain's, meant that they were that much more powerful and not so easily broken, even by a Captain.

Hei stood, walked towards the back, opened a bunker door, and descended a set of stairs until he reached a door. He used his key card to gain access to the inside and went through several doors, each one having its own unique type of biological access method. The first door required a hair, the second required a tongue print, the third door required a hand scan, the fourth required an eye-scan and the final door required him to enter a strange arch that registered his body as a whole. After going through all this, Hei approached a large metal door that was cero-proof and had a very powerful barrier around it, he touched it and it dissipated, allowing him to take hold of the large handle and open it. There came a hiss as smoke poured out of the crack between the door frame and the door itself.

Hei entered, shutting the door behind himself. He approached a large screen which displayed atoms and molecules being bonded together. Several minuscule robotic arms were hard at work bonding the atoms together. Hei pressed a button under the screen and the view switched from an atomic level to regular to reveal an object that was the size of a golf ball. The object in question was some hundred yards under his own feet, buried under several dozen feet of solid steel for protection. The steel was manufactured to be elementally resistant and acid-proof. There was no door or passageway that led there, the only way to gain access was to use a scientifically engineered garganta, and even then, one needed the coordinates or else one might end up inside a wall.

Now that the orb had been completed, Hei just had to get to it, so he drew both his katana using both hands. He used both hands and quickly pulled both of his katana, sheath and all, from his belt. He turned around, spread his hands as far as they could go, and by placing the tip of the scabbard of both of his katana, he created a thin, but wide wavy line in the middle of the air. "My right hand is the stone that bridges worlds. My left hand is the blade that binds reality. The black-haired shepherd is hung from a chair. Stratus clouds come, and I strike down the ibis." When he finished the incantation a garganta ripped open across the wavy line. Inside it was the normal black area that looked like it held nothing inside.

Hei entered it immediately and it slammed shut behind him, he was even careful enough at this point to make sure no one or anything was following him. Being the quite careful individual he was, he had yet to open the other end of the Garganta, effectively trapping himself and anything that might have slipped past his sight within. He lifted his right pointer finger and a small metal rod burrowed from under the skin at the tip of his finger and began to crackle with electricity. Shortly thereafter, electricity began to leap off his finger and burn the very air, shorting out any probes that might be on him or not. After he was pleased with what he had done, the rod disappeared and the other side of the garganta opened to reveal a small room with a steel column in the middle. There were several cameras trained onto the column and though invisible to the naked eye, several minuscule robotic arms were holding up the newly created Hogyoku, giving the impression that it was floating. Hei stepped in and without wasting any time, seized the small object and with a little bit of forced effort, swallowed it whole.

After several days, the object would surface in his chest where Hei could keep an eye on it at all times, being the one thing he can't let out of his sight. He would act as the container for this power; the suppressor of the Hōgyoku. Seemingly done with what he had to do, he repeated the same process and opened a new garganta back to the first room. In complete reverse, he exited back into his main lab by passing through all of the security points in reverse. After shutting the bunker door behind him, he strode back over to his desk, released the barrier that surrounded the documents on his desk and picked up a folder entitled, The Life and Death of Nnoitra Jiruga.

[Again, you can't/won't be able to see any of this.]

Kato lightly stepped into the branch of a tree and waited, watching the proccedings throught the Society. He could hide himself very well if he wanted to, after all, he was the Lt of the best assassin in the Soul society. Plus, he reasoned, "You can't find Hei anyways, she'd find you. I hope I still leave sane....oh well." He started to daydream.....

After a while he said, "I have a better way to do this." He closed his eyes and focused on his Reiraku. For some reason it led him to the 12 Division Labs. He thought, "Wasn't I just here? Oh well...." He knocked three times.

[[Whoops... sweatdrop Sorry about that, Yuki!]]

Elisia had gone nowhere in particular, wandering to find something to do. Unfortunately there was nothing for her to do. Stopping near a tree, she sat down, still worried about her Captain. Were they already battling? Stretching herself awake after resting for a little, she decided to ask someone what was going on. Why was Captain Yuki so frustrated? Did she lose? Elisia had no idea what actually went on, since she had been elsewhere, dealing with healing people like Kato. Maybe he would know about what happened. Maybe, maybe not. She could not really ask her superiors. Standing up, she started to search around the areas, firstly checking out Squad Two. He was not there. Giving up on this futile search, she plopped herself on the ground, slightly in a sulking mood. She did not really want to go to Squad Twelve, because of the fact that there was a chance that Captain Hei was there. He was frightening in so many aspects...

[[Short post. Elisia has nothing to do...]]

[Senna, I already left when you arrived so let's just say you were walking with me~]

"I have the right to ditch a meeting," Zique replied proudly to Senna. "If you hate them, why don't you just stay in the squad barracks? Don't want to miss out on the fun?" He teased. As Agi yelped from a distance, he ignored him and continued walking, his pace was a bit faster this time. He eventually caught up with them, though, Zique sighed as he went on with his ramblings. "Why should I care? Handling a squad is already a pain, and besides, it's the festival! It's a time for rest!" He continued to defend his lazy actions, ignoring the fact that his presence is important in the meeting, being one of the thirteen captains. "Shut up, you and your stupid theories..." He turned on the next street, nearing the third division quarters, he intended to go back to their squad, seeing as the festival almost reached its end.

When Hei heard the knocks, he was annoyed that he once more had to stand up and open the door, but that was the price he paid for high security. After doing so and letting Kato in, he went back to his desk sat down, and jabbed his finger in the direction of a coffin-like structure made entirely out of metal that was connected to the wall it was resting against by bolts and the occasional, seemingly randomly placed metal coil or plastic tube. The door, lined with rubber to make it airtight, was hanging wide open and within, it was pristine white with no where to sit; you could only stand inside it. "In you go." He said without looking up, doing his best to finish the paper he was currently working on before he had to get up again.

Kato didn't flinch or cower, just took a deep breath and walked inside.

"This is where the true test begins...."he thought.

So he closed his eyes and waited

Napoleonita

PostPosted: Sat Aug 22, 2009 9:37 am

Napoleonita awoke many hours later after passing out in the sake stall she was in. She found herself lying on the street beside the stall, which was now closed. "Was I not inside just a little while ago...?" Sitting up, she looked around, seeing only a few people compared to a while ago. "Is the festival over?" She rubbed her eyes with her hands and stood up. She noticed that almost all the stalls were closed and that she had been lying there for so long. There was this weird feeling inside her that she missed something of great importance. Which she did, actually, she got herself drunk while the captain's meetings and the time frame when four captains were sent to the Human World to fight the Espada. "Captain... I must look for captain..." Dusting both her bottom and lap of any excess dirt that might have stuck on her kimono while she was lying down on the ground, she made her way towards her squad's barracks, hoping to see the captain of the sixth division there.

Sakura was striding through a wide street of the Seireitei. "Lieutenant Elisia!" Sakura said gently but slightly reprimanding. It was only but a year since she had become a shinigami and only a few weeks since she was promoted to her current rank. She wasn't really familiar with the other high ranking shinigami and had only recently started to get to know others. She used to spend most of her time in the lab dabbling with medicines and antidotes. She continued whatever she was about to say to Elisia. "There doesn't seem to be much to do in the way of healing, so I decided to come out here and get some fresh air." She saw that Elisia was bothered by something. She could only assume it was about Captain Yuki, who was training. She took a seat beside her on the ground. "Don't worry Lieutenant Elisia. Captain Yuki will be alright." She gave a warm smile that was followed by an eery silence. A cool, gentle breeze swayed through the cherry blossom trees that were in full bloom and rustled through her hair.

"This is where the true test begins...."he thought.

So he closed his eyes and waited

As soon as Hei was done with the document he was reading, he picked up another. It must have killed Kato a little inside to think that he had to wait; he figured he had been watching at the very least to see him coming. Hei did this several times; picking up a document, finishing it and reading a new one. It was a good 30 minutes before he was done; and he was finally done with every thing on Hueco Mundo. With a large gulp, he drained his cup, pushed back in his chair and ambled over to the coffin-like structure. As he shut the door to it and locked it to make it air tight, he mumbled to himself about what he had read, letting words like, "Pandora" and "box" slip past his lips; everything else was inaudible. When he had finished bolting the door, a panel on the side of the structure slid open, revealing a keypad and a tiny rectangular screen. He typed a few commands and sidled back over to his chair. Around this time, Kato would feel it hard to breath since it was air tight, but luckily for him, the filter turned on inside, quickly feeding clean oxygen inside and taking away the CO2 that he was breathing out. Over the course of the next 30 or so minutes, Kato would have his blood drawn, his Reiryoku scanned, his mind "read" and his brainwaves recorded, among several other things. Almost immediately after the test were done, a green gas came out of the hole that oxygen was coming out of. It was supposed to finalize all experiments and whatnot, but as a side effect would make him relive a bad memory, be it unbearable to recall or merely unsettling. Hei added that effect just to mess with people as he enjoyed studying their reactions. About 20 seconds later, the gas stopped coming out and oxygen returned. Hei opened the door a few seconds later, not caring in the slightest if Kato had fallen over from the memory or if he was standing up; he opened the door just the same. "Out. I'm done with you." He said quite sternly as he pointed to the door (which he hadn't properly locked this time around).

[I left the end ambiguous so fill it in as you see fit. The memory could have been bad enough to make him fall over or it would have been not much of anything. That's all. =D ]

(@Yuki: I blame... myself. xd )

Hibiki catched the teddy bear with his left hand, a bit bothered by Yuki's comment. 'Remember not to make her bleed... good luck with that.' he tossed the teddy bear aside, taking care not to damage it as he was still unsure of Yuki's personality in comparison with her brother. "So, should ladies first or should I lead?" he asked teasing Yuki a little bit, though still putting on a serious face. As he spoke he unsheathed his zanpakuto from its scabbard with his right hand and swung it to his right side, he looked at the 4th squad captain waiting for a response.

(Edited.)

"While It's unsettling that you should even have to ask, I can say I'm not much for chivalry on the battlefield." As she spoke, a wisp of wind began to swirl around the base of the Tower, growing stronger as it rose and met with the heated building standing alone in the sun. It got to the top and the wind was flaring about, a single touch would definitely cut skin. She lifted the index finger of her left hand and flicked it towards Hibiki's forehead. With the flick came a small shockwave as wind left her hand. It widened as it went towards Hibiki, attempting to push him into the wind barrier.

Surprised by her power Hibiki resorted to releasing his Shi Kai. "Cut, Oni no Kaze." he whispered as the cutting winds erupted from the blade disrupting Yuki's attack. The blade shone a bright light before transforming into a large shuriken whose blades were roughly 3-feet tall. "Seems like I should've done some research on your zanpakuto's abilities before coming here." he spoke as he spun the shuriken around him, effectively canceling out the remaining wind. "Cut." he spoke as he threw the large shuriken towards Yuki.

Elisia smiled at Sakura, who had just been recently promoted to 3rd Seat. She was a very cheerful person, not letting anything get in the way. Apparently Sakura had picked up her worry - about Captain Yuki.
"It would have been a very nice day, if it was not for that trip...And Captain Yuki's mood..." Elisia said aloud accidentally.
Whoops. Sakura could have overheard her.
"Anyway, a few things to note - don't call me Lieutenant Elisia. Elisia's fine." Elisia cheerfully grinned at Sakura, "And come on, we'd best work on some of our skills. The Espada are getting really powerful."
Remembering whatever Espada had hurt Kato like that, she shuddered, also remembering the fact that she had made an enemy. She might as well train for a bit with Sakura.
"Let's go back to Squad 4 and train for a little bit..." Elisia told Sakura.

"Was that......"oxygen" really nessecary?" he said, though he said the word oxygen with total disdain.

"Anyways...I.....think I'll be going now. He lazily shunpo-ed away, as if drunk.

"As you wish, Lieute- I mean Elisia." She stuttered as she remembered Elisia's orders. She actually considered this a success since usually she wouldn't catch her bad habits so quickly. "My little brother has criticized me lately, for spending all my time in the medical lab and not enough on the training field. She followed Elisia off to the Squad 4 grounds.

Leucious slowly walked through the streets looking at the different people not really know any of the but figured if they cared they would know who he was and if not oh well at least he wouldn't be bothered. He stopped in a few places and just looked around, it had been a while since he was on this side of the Soul Society so he was taking in the forgotten sights.
