Akutenshi, spotting a very interesting a very interesting person appear behind Angela. He was definitely of the Fae-type. Watching him "eat" one of the monsters, he hurriedly rushed over to him, wanting to see more, completely forgetting about what Fae's usually did to his type in the process. Stopping a few feet from Javor, he smiled. "Hello there."

"Me?" he asked innocently, pointing at himself as if Ky could possibly be talking to anyone else there. "I'm Javor. Who're you? Oh--you're that one lady! The one that guy was with." He pointed at Zen. "Eh...you're not one of the ones I was sent to check on so I don't care about you."

Javor smiled at Aku when the white haired man greeted him. "Hello Food."

Angela rolled her eyes at Aetra's antics. So this is what happened to immortals when they went too long without getting laid. Sad really...

Aetra took more interest to Angela, even though the new comer was pretty funny.
He strolled over to Angela, sensing what she was thinking and smirking.
"OH, and I nearly forgot... silly me, forgetting things... Zensekai had one more unexpressed desire I haven't seen to yet."
He got closer and closer, moving fast on this, which was unusual for his lazy tendoncy.
Without warning, Atra went in for the kill and grabbed the back of Angela's neck and pressed his mouth to hers in a passionate kiss.
He could feel Zensekai's messed up reaction in his mind, he wasn't at all happy with his stunt, but it was a great kiss--even Atra admitted that. Someone had to do it for Zensekai, since he was too pathetic to do it himself.

Toshi could still hear those things down there, but his wings were getting tired. Though, there weren't as many as before.... Carefully, Toshi landed, cradling Inutai protectively. He couldn't let anything harm him, no matter what.

Something was coming close. He could it running straight at him. The only thing he could think of was danger, and he panicked. Without know who or what it was, Toshi managed to (rather sloppily) behead the monster with one clawed hand before it did any damage. Straightening back up, he merely let the blood drip down from his claws to the floor.

Akutenshi blinked. "Food?" He blanked out for a few moments before realizing what he meant. The man just laughed. "What else would I be to you, hrm?"

Angela squeaked in protest when Aetra very, very abruptly attacked her. At first, she was sure she was about to get eaten or something considering who this was she was dealing with.

But he kissed her instead.

He. Kissed. Her.

Her eyes went wide and then she squeezed them shut, immediately placing her hands on his chest--on...Zen's chest to try to push him away. Her mind went completely blank for a moment.

Oh this was not good.

It was Aetra. It was definitely Aetra--the presence she felt was very, very much Aetra but...but it was Zen's body, Zen's smell, his hair, his face. Her resolve to get away from him weakened slightly and for a moment--just a moment--she responded to the kiss and kissed him back. And then she realized what she was doing and panicked again, trying to push him away.

She finally had her powers back and she still couldn't fry the b*****d because he was in Zen's body. And he probably knew that too! Gah! Damn him! And just when she'd begun to think Aetra wasn't too bad for a somewhat annoying, crater dwelling, immortal creep.

**

Javor's brow furrowed as the fiend guy started talking to him again. It was always difficult to focus on food when it was speaking to him so it took a moment to replay all the words back in his head to make sense of them without getting distracted by Aku's very appetizing aura.

"You are...um...food," he replied once he got it puzzled. "That's all." He thought he'd been clear on that in his previous statement but apparently this food was also not very smart.

One of the monsters came close to him and he stabbed it through face with his hand, yanking a mass of gore out of its skull when he pulled his hand back. "That one did not look at all appetizing," he said, kicking the body away and flinging the mess in his hand away casually. He ruffled his wings slightly and blew his bangs out of his eyes.

He heard a slight squeak off to the side somewhere and turned, wondering if they had mice here. Javor liked mice. They were cute.

Instead, he saw that the squeak came from Angela, who he was certain was not a mouse--not even part mouse. She was kissing Zen, which struck him as odd because most people did not kiss while in the middle of fighting demons due to the fact that it was counter productive and somewhat dangerous. How very unpredictable.

He also wouldn't have predicted that she squeaked. Like a mouse.

No wonder the four had chose them.

Cheeva frowned, giving the bone-puppets a last burst of magic, allowing them to career on of their own free will. The cage holding Des bobbed lazily at her side. Idly she sent a chunk of her own magic down her arm, into the fire ball. It probably wouldn't help some almighty immortal whatever-the-hell-he-was, but she owed him. And she paid back her debts.

"Hot?" Cheeva asked, quirking an eyebrow. "No, it doesn't make me overheated." She narrowed her eyes, suspecting she should be insulted by the comment. But, instead of taking her wrath out on Zen - or, at least, the thing that looked like Zen and acted far too much like Laklas - she let out a snort of laughter as she watched the man attempted to devour Angela, mouth first. She watched the woman struggle, feeling oddly vindicated.

"Having a problem there, Midget? Something seems to be attached to your face. You might want a healer to have a look at that."

Des yawned. It was very difficult to do while not in his demi-human form. But he did it anyway.

Holding the heat and flames in so as not to reduce Cheeva to a little pile of ashes was actually getting a bit tedious. She'd had her fun it seemed so he stopped restricting his power long enough to effectively nullify her magic and the cage around him. As soon as he was free, he sailed away from her and directly in a batch of those demons and released all that pent up energy in a dervish of flames, sparks and searing wind.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhh," he said faintly. "Sweet release."

**

Angela made various panicked noises and continued to struggle fruitlessly. She was so focused on the fact that Zen/Aetra was still kissing her that she didn't hear Cheeva's taunts.

Plus the oxygen deprivation was beginning to take its toll. She wondered if Aetra had forgotten that she needed to breathe.

Fixing his glasses, Akutenshi eyed Javor with particular interest, especially when he so thoughtlessly killed a monster that had come close. He grinned, yet did not move away like any smart person would do in such a situation. Instead, he decided to point out, "I suppose our kind don't get along with your kind, do they?"

Apparently, Akutenshi was too busy observing the fae to realize the kind of danger he was putting himself in. Then again, he never seemed to realize any sort of danger until it was too late, merely because he was too absorbed in observing and studying that very threat.

Zen fell on Angela from their kissing pose, his weight went forward as Atra broke his connection with him. He was still brunt and singed from the merger he'd had with the creature, but his eyes closed and opened blue again, and Zen's skin turned pink again---and then it turned red.
Atra has forced him to remain concious after he dumped Zen and went back to his crater, but Zensekai was entirely drained of strength, which made falling on Angela inevitable.

Javor licked the blood and gore off his hand thoughtfully as he listened to Aku. He sucked a bit of monster brain off his fingertip. "I get along with your kind just fine," he said. "More or less."

He smiled and stepped closer to the other man. Come to think of it, he didn't even know who this person was. "You're not one of the ones I'm supposed to check on either. Which means you're unimportant."

**

"Oof!" Angela fell back as she suddenly felt Aetra's presence disappear. Zen's eyes returned to normal and his face turned bright red. He was definitely Zen again.

Her face turned nearly the same color as his and she absolutely could not look in his eyes. Damn Aetra! He was probably sitting in his crater laughing his head off.

"A--are...um...you alright?" Angela asked, trying to bring some normalcy back to the situation--very difficult considering he was on top of her. If the monsters didn't get them, she was definitely going to die from embarrassment.

Cheeva chuckled as she crouched, hiding her shaking limbs. She hadn't regained as much magic as she thought she had. Well no use crying over it now. Unless she could somehow kill and drain Des, there was no getting her magic back. She cut the link to her bone-puppets. Cheeva was somewhat relieved Des had broken free - and destroyed the little group of approaching demons - but that didn't make it any less annoying. He'd done it so easily, too, just like he'd done with her shield. He seemed to enjoy ruining her plans and wasting her precious magic.

"Hey Flamey," she said. "You should be watching the Midget and Longshanks over there. Normally they make you pay for a show like this."

Akutenshi blinked. "Unimportant? I've never heard that before. Unwanted, yes, uninvited, yes, but never unimportant. . . ."

"I see them," Des told her, flaring out again and destroying a few more demons. Honestly, it's not like he actually had eyes in this form. He could just...see. Everywhere around him. It was quite useful really.

He could also see the fae talking to Aku and wondered if he should warn the fiend--but opted not to. In any case there were demons to fight and Cheeva appeared to have used quite a lot of magic so he decided to stay close to her.

For now.

**

Javor stepped closer to Aku and ran a clawed hand over his cheek before pulling Aku's face down so they were on the same level. "Well, what I mean is that you're unessential to the plot. So it doesn't really matter what happens to you."

He placed two fingers from his other hand on Aku's chest and began to slowly to pull out strands of red glow.

Akutenshi watched Javor curiously, before realizing what he was doing. He tensed as Javor began to draw out bits of his magic, and could only bring himself to stare down at his chest with wide eyes. For some reason, he couldn't stop him. It felt odd and draining at the same time. It most definitely was not similar to part of his soul getting ripped out (or he would be screaming right about now). That was good to know. At least.

He laughed slightly, albeit a forced one. "I'm unessential so you have a go at me, huh. Wouldn't expect less from a fae like you."

Javor looked at him curiously as he commented on what was happening. Normally the food protested. This guy was really weird. Oh well. It was easier when they didn't struggle.

Suddenly his brow furrowed slightly and he tipped his head to the side, snipping off the strands he'd already pulled out and twining them around his fingers. After a moment, he released Aku and sighed, popping the red glow into his mouth.

"It looks like she decided she wants to keep you around after all. Such a pity. I'm rather put out by that." He frowned and sighed at once. "I want to kill something now. Excuse me."

He spread his wings and bolted into the air before diving down into a mob of the demons and releasing an explosion of multi-colored magic.
