the next morning in math class Alice passed a note to Shana saying "you wana go to the food prep room during study hall? they dont have class that period n we can make cookies! XP"

"Today is so dull!" Alexis moaned, leaning back in her chair. She had study hall, and was utterly bored. The teacher was out, so everybody was goofing off.
Lily nodded from where she had her head on her desk. "I finished all my work, how can I do anything during STUDY HALL?"
"Why not study?" said a freshman, looking up from his book.
"There's nothing TO study," Alexis said. She yawned. "And it's so hot!"

Alexis yawned again and closed her eyes.
"Sucks, doesn't it?" Tanner said in her ear.
BAM.
"I'M GOING TO KILL YOU," Alexis growled at her friend from where she laid on the floor. She was wedged in between two desks, legs on top of Lily's desk.
Lily laughed. Alexis rolled to her feet and glared at Tanner.

Alexis snagged Tanner by the back of the shirt and pinned him down to the ground.
"I'm going to have a concussion if you keep doing that! Geez!" she growled at him.
The bell rang. Passing period.
The class quickly made their way out of the room and into the pavilion. Alexis was fuming.
"Dang it, why can't it be the dance already? We get that entire day off!" she complained. She shaded her eyes as she stared at the sky. "Hopefully it won't be too hot."
