Terasu raised her kodachi to defend herself, however, she watched as Masamune blocked the staff. Where had she come from? Downstairs obviously but, why? Not like it mattered though.
"Thanks," she said rather confused though shook off the mater after a moment. "If you want to help," Terasu called to Miraruutsu; "then take the other rabbit over there, and I'll handle the gunner." Terasu glanced at Masamune, apparently more than capable of holding her own against the mage rabbit only to hurry towards Balthier. A gun user could probably do more damage at a faster rate, she figured.

A gunshot is heard as Masamune's No'dachi hurls through the air, away from her, nesting into the floor by the blade point, diagonally.
"I can." Balthier says, his arm outstretched with a still smoking gun it. "Care for take two?"

Giving a sigh, she watched Jote to see her reaction, and noticed Terasu going for the marksman. Waiting a moment to throw off Jote's guard, she lunged, doing a handspring across the floor and reaching her no'dachi, yanking it from the floorboards. Turning once more, she rushed at Jote, blade raised.

Terasu dared not turn off her course by any means as the shot echoed in the manor. She simply drew close enough to Balthier and quickly swung the kodachi towards his hand which had his trigger finger, in attempts to remove him from even being a threat.

Balthiers weapon was released from his hand by Terasu's blade. He had mere moments to react to her swing but they weren't enough and he loosed his grip completely.
"Hmmm that might be a small problem..." he said as he skipped backward a step to avoid the arch on the passing blade. "But only slightly..." He began drawing in the sky with one hand and then placed his fingers to his lips.

Miraruutsu closed her eyes and when she opened them her eyes glowed red and red markings appeared on her face. She mumbled words under her breath, she then raised her staff and through the mist red lightning danced across the sky. And she lowered the staff, then raised her hand and curled her fingers as her crimson eyes remained focused on Jote, her red lightning only harmed what she targeted. Lightning then struck for Jote.

Terasu smirked as she watched the gun fall from his hands. "Only a slight problem? I think you're in for a rude awakening," she said, still smiling as she lunged towards Balthier aiming for his mid-section with her kodachi.

Jote didn't even have time to cast protect before a bolt of red lightning struck her dead-on. She let out a sharp shriek, like that of an injured rabbit, before she landed down on one knee. Her eyes lifted, scanning the source of the magic. Once her target had been sighted, the mist around her rose, as she began casting, her body glowing. Closing her eyes, she shakily drew in a breath.
"Magic against magic, hmm?" she almost purred, the mist and the glow increasing in intensity. "You will be in for quite a show, then.."
The glow shot off of Jote in a flash if silver lightning that went into the quickly darkening clouds. A loud BOOM resounded, as that same streak of lightning came down, striking the vicinity of where the woman stood.
"Thundaga!"

Miraruutsu saw the incoming bolt, she took an opportunity to fire a crimson bolt from her staff, her bolt flew past the other and she took the hit from Jote's bolt. She flew back a few feet but she landed on her knee, the red markings on her body began to glow her eyes turned demon like, she stood up, then she raised her arms and staff to the sky, then 30 red bolts stuck for Jote.

Balthier whistled then released his fingers from his mouth. The sound of fast-moving running water like a nearby white water rapid - burst into the room. "Heads up~" he said in a sing-song voice.

Miraruutsu turned and saw the rushing water. She was blown away by it when the water decreased she was on her knees gasping, she was extremely weak.

As Vaan stared at the clouds,he began to wonder what Balthier and Fran were doing these days."I sure wish I could find them"."I really miss them".Vaan thought he heard shouting but didnt take any notice.Then he heard it again.He then noticed some people running,followed by a pack of couerls."Damn! And just when I was getting comfortable".Vaan then summons Adramelech."Fun time!".

"Child you are no match fooo....." Kvistor trailed off watching a large wave rushing at him. "Land Crack," he shouted causing the floor to break and shift and extemely hot gas started to flow into the air dispersing the wave away from Kvistor.
