Kimiko smiled, and laughed slightly. She 'looked' at Isaac, directly into his own eyes. She tilted her head up slightly, so that her eyes could be seen from underneath her long bangs. "I am truly blind in the usual sense of the word. I know that I'm looking right at you, but I can't see what you look like at all. I don't know if you are large, or tall, or short, or small. I don't know what color your eyes or hair or clothes are. But I can still see you. I can see your spirit. I can see your strength and your ambition. I can see how your spirit flows inside of your body, even though I can't see your body. Since I can see your body I can tell if you are hurt or sick, and I can read your emotions. I can also manipulate spirits. It comes in handy when you guys get hurt, because I can heal you. Or if I encounter a fiend spirit, I can hurt it. None of this helps keep me from walking into tables and chairs though, since inanimate objects don't have spirits I still can't see them at all."

Isaac nodded slowly, this interested him greatly. "So, she has an ability in the sense that Matt has an ability, though clearly not the same... It must be nice... Unless of course that she's blind because of it or perhaps gifted if she developed it because she was blind... Too much to think about." Isaac thought before making one nod that was definitely the end. "Well, here. I'm not very tall, kinda pale... I'm from Taolizohrn, so, there's the reason... Umm.. I have kinda dirty blonde hair and green eyes. Right now, which you should be able to see... I only have a few scratches and thankfully, no burns." Isaac finished, glancing over at Matt. He took another mouthful of his lunch before adding, "Does that help, or make it worse?" Isaac asked.

Matt grinned at Isaac between bites, knowing that that second to last part was for him.
"Not really one or the other, except for the last part. Colors don't really have any meaning to me, since I've never seen any. When I see peoples aura they look different from each other, but I don't know if they are different colors. The only other thing that kinda helps is your height, because that's something that I could feel. I could stand next to you and touch your face and see how tall you are compared to me, and I know that I'm not very tall either." Kimiko said. She was still looking right at Isaac, but she had lowered her face so her eyes were covered again.

Isaac nodded a little, trying to understand what Kimiko was saying. He wasn't doing it so well, but he was getting a little bit. She could see life, awesome. "When you see people's auras... Could you explain that a little please? Do you get their basic shapes? How do you tell if they're hurt and what they're feeling? If they don't change colors..." Isaac asked, they would all be lucky if they got out in a timely manner now. Isaac had questions, which was never good for others.

"Well, I think that they're shapes. What I see when I see a persons aura is all together for each person. And I like to think that they have colors because they're always so different. But I've never seen a real color, as far as I know, so I can't say for certain. And when a person is injured I can tell by the way that the aura moves, they kind of, swirl..." Kimiko said and swirled her hand around in the air for emphasis.

Isaac tilted his head to the side, "So she's always been blind." Isaac thought. He took another mouthful as he listened. "That's actually really neat," Isaac commented. He was out of questions, he was awaiting the moment of awkward silence now. Where everyone kind of ate and glanced back and forth at each other wanting to say something.
(Is it just the two of us now?)

(( It's way more than just two people. Kiro said something but it was mainly mumbling to myself. =_= ))
Kiro had quickly finished his plate of strictly meats and downed a glass of water. "So, William, you hear about the next mission at all?" Kiro asked, facing William.
"I've really been dying to use my swords again." Kiro added soon after to show he was very anxious to start his next mission.

(Oh, well I had just thought you'd disappeared. Sorry I didn't give you the benefit of the doubt, though the comment did have a bit of a double purpose. Which worked beautifully.)
Isaac continued to eat as his attention suddenly averted to Kiro and William. He knew nothing of missions at all so far for the Corps.
(Hah! Suck! Moving on.)
(Emma is still with Malkin, so that means I'm the best choice to give you something. Yay!)
Emma changed her position to stand directly in front of Malkin, the girls talking to him before having run off declaring that they were having 'womanly issues.' Her hand still rested nonchalantly on the hilt of her rapier. "Are you sure you're okay?"
(Running off memory, sorry... If you need more, tell me! If I remember correctly, Malkin was getting crazy over being able to fight someone, Emma was already on watch, and now they're having their periods. Hallelujah.)

"Nothing yet. But since they've gone to all this trouble to get the teams assigned I'm sure it's only a matter of time. And probably sooner than later at that." William said. He took a quick drink. "I have to say, I'm exited to go on a new mission too. It's been a while, and we have to break in our new rookie." He finished with a grin on his face for Isaac's sake.

"Yeah... He's not too bad, I saw some of his fight." Kiro replied to William as he looked at Issac for a moment. "But it'll be amusing to see his first response from to Kyto during a spar. I remember when we first fought and I used it on you William, haha! Though you sort of startled me too with that big sword of yours..." Kiro trailed off.

"Yeah, the kid's got some skills." Matt said. "He's gonna need some fine tuning, but nobody's perfect. He's more than talented enough to go on a mission and come back alive, though. Only practice and experience will improve him from here."
"Well, that's good to hear. I was afraid we were gonna have to teach him from the ground up." William said. "We've got high expectations for you, Isaac. You've got some big shoes to fill. Mine and Kiro's last partner was an amazing Hunter. She was one of the best. I was pretty sad to see her go. But each ending is a new beginning, right? So, here's to the beginning of our new team." William held up his glass. It was only water, but it was symbolic to him.

Malkin stood, clutching the rail tightly. He could smell everything. He could feel everything. He felt beyond alive. Looking at Emma, he could smell her fear and worry. Smiling at her, he held himself still.
"Miss Emma, I don't think that practicing will be enough today. Did you wish to duel me? I'm not sure I can hold back right now though."
Burn them all. Burn ALL of it. Make them suffer. We are immortal. We are gods. No fear now, let others fear.
Malkin knew his inner demon was right. When they fought together, and it had been far too long since they had, they were nigh unstoppable.
"No fear now, let others fear." he murmured in unison, barely audible.
