Deirdre sat on the edge of her bed. Her facial features seemed relaxed and collected, but her ever twitching wings stated otherwise. Today was the big day. Today she would take on the responsability of the entire Fae race. She shivered as a knock sounded from the door. "Huh-..? Oh.. Erm.. I mean... Enter." Deirdre stammered.

Iorwerth's head peaked in from the door. "My queen." He mumbled as he came in and kneeled infront of the queen to be. "Stand up." Deirdre sighed as she shifted on the edge of the bed. Iorwerth obeyed and stared at Deirdre for a moment before he spoke, "Are you ready?" He inquired. "Of course." Deirdre replied. But she replied too quickly and her adverted gaze exposed her lie. "You're lying.. My lady, it would not be wise to lie to your people." Iorwerth crossed his arms and frowned at Deirdre.

"I know.. I know.. I don't need you to chastize me. It doesn't help. Its just.." Deirdre's voice started soft and her last words were nearly inaudiable. She gripped the wooden edge of the bed tightly, causing her knuckles to turn white, as she fought tears. She wasn't ready for this, but she knew that she had to go through with it this time.

Iorwerth's frown deepened and he stepped closer to Deirdre, gently placing his hands on her shoulders. "Deirdre," Iorwerth took in a breath, "You can do this. I know you can. Every living Fae knows you can do this. We all have faith in you. And now, you owe it to yourself, and to your people, to have faith in yourself. Trust yourself, even if you can't manage to totally trust yourself. As long as you can trust yourself and your decisions, you'll do fine."

Deirdre looked up at Iorwerth with tear-glazed eyes. "Thank you.." She whispered. "I-.. I guess I'll be ok." Deirdre's voice shook as she spoke.

"Don't guess. Know." Iorwerth said sternly. Deirdre blinked a few times, "I know I'll be ok." She said, her voice still a little bit shaky.


((OOC: O________O... Long post...))

Iorwerth had departed from inside the palace when word of Kazekami's approach had reached him. He silently glided down to the gates. "Kazekami?" He called.

((Sorry its so short. I'm too pissed off to think straight right now.))

((OOC: I'm gonna f*cking kill something...))

Iorwerth smiled at Kazekami, "I'm glad you came." He said happily. Iorwerth suddenly had a confused gleam in his eyes. He could sense a slight difference in the heat levels in Kazekami's arms. He frowned at her, "Kazekami.. Show me your arms."

((OOC: HA. Fire affinity= Sense of heat.. Oh and I bet you didn't know that the temperature of a cut or bruise is higher than the rest of your body temp. razz ))

Iorwerth shut his eyes tightly and when he opened them again, he saw things in different colors, signifying heat levels. "Hiding your arms behind you won't help. And its because you have slivers of heat levels deep in your arms. So please, show me your arms." A sad frown formed on Iorwerth's face as he spoke.

Iorwerth's frown deepened and his wings drooped slightly. He moved closer to Kazekami and gently held her left arm with one of his hands. He softly ran his index finger along the cuts, absorbing some of the excess heat. Iorwerth then repeated the process with her right arm. "There," He sighed, "They'll heal a bit faster and with that, they won't scar.." Iorwerth's sad eyes looked into Kazekami's as he spoke.

((OOC: XD He knows the other cuts and such are there. They all leave have a temp thats different than your body's core temp.))

"Because-.." Irowerth paused, "Because you shouldn't treat yourself like this. Nor should you recieve treatment so brutal. And because I care, and because thinking about The Watcher doing things like these to you infuriates me." With the mentioning of the Watcher, Iorwerth's eyes flicked toward the burn concealed by Kazekami's shawl.
