Elrothiel nodded. The guards were all far too scared of the fire to attack them again even if there had been any of them left standing now. She ran towards Gordo. "Gordo, who's - " She had been about to ask about the woman but broke up short as she saw his urgosh held at Wormtongue's throat. "Where is the King?"

Gordo looked back to see Char pulled through a door only seconds before Elrothiel could reach him. He let out a frustrated roar and lifted his urgosh high over head before bringing it down onto a huge table of thick wood and stone, splintering it to pieces. "Take yerself a break or the three of you are next," The hardened general growled with all the intimidation he could muster, pointing the massive weapon straight at the three remaining guards in the room. Once they ran off, he removed a length of chain from his belt pouch, connected one end to his belt buckle, and looped the other end around Wormtongue's neck. "He ain't goin' no where. We'd best gather up your ranger friend but I'll be a frost giant's uncle if we march outta here before having a word with the King," He said to Elrothiel.

When Aldonar woke up, he was lying on a stone floor. It was cold,damp and dark.He heard a noise over to his left.Someone was opening the door. It was a guard."Probobly bringing food." he thought. Sure enough, a bowl was set down,just inside the door.The door slamed shut.He crawled over to the bowl.It was nothing but some old crusty bread.He picked it up,and tore it into two pieces.One he put in his coat pocket.The other,he ate. "Where were the others?"

Gordo noticed Wormtongue's eyes eagerly darting towards the same door he was sprinting for a moment before. He would have escaped through it if it wasn't for a curious, onlooking woman to block his path. The dwarven general looked back towards the door. It was still slightly ajar and dark inside. He suspected the woman was again surveying him, Elrothiel and the worm at the end of Gordo's chain. Maybe she has seen the King or that missing ranger, he wondered to himself. He shrugged, tugged on Grima's chain and headed for the door.

Isil walked through the door and grabbed Sials's rist as she dragged her behind her. "Let's just get out of here. There's a dwarf and what would seem as... his crew. It didn't seem as they noticed me. They're looking for the King and.... I dunno." She let go of her friend and put her hands in her pockets. "But really... How many times have I said I need to not be fallowed/" She couldn't help but smile. Sila and her were usually together. Friends...

Elrothiel was once again in the Great Hall. "I just don't understand it." she said to Gordo, for about the hundredth time, "We're sitting inside the Golden Hall, the royal palace, we've searched everywhere and there's no sign of the King. And no sign of Char." She sighed. "And we haven't had any demands or more guards coming to kick us out or anything. It's as if they don't care that we're here but are sitting somewhere not far away, laughing at us." She kicked the fragments of one of the tables they hadn't bothered to clear up across the room. "They can't have disappeared so where the hell is everyone? The only person we can find is the worm, and he's the only one I never want to see again! I'm getting fed up of the sight of him. I'd have expected an attack, an ambush... anything! If they want us dead. But what do they want with Char? They didn't kill him or they'd have done it straight away! So what are they after?" She smashed one of the table legs across the door in frustration. It exploded into fragments, showering the room with more mess than ever. She gave a small cold smile of satisfaction, "Well at least the Golden Hall is now a big mess. I suppose that's some consolation - we're smashing up the only decent building in this stupid country." She drew Naraithas and made a large ugly groove in the polished door. She sheathed it and turned back to Gordo apologetically, "It doesn't help - but it does make me feel better."

Sila smiled even as she was dragged off. "Well really how many times have I really listened to you when you said not to be followed?" She asked. "And a dwarf, eh?" She asked following after Isil. "How in the world did he notice you? I wouldn't think that you'd let yourself be found like that. So are we going to do anything here or are we simply to leave? If we are not going to do anything then I would like to leave soon. This many men are giving off a repulsive smell."
