Shiroka had felt a shadow passing over her and soon a huge creature landed next to her. She looked at it for a while. "I met you before." she whispered. It had been a strange encounter and she did not remember the name of the winged wolf. She did not really know how to answer his question. the meaning...? "It means that darkest times are upon us?" she offered as an answer to the beautiful yet annoyed looking wolf.

Loki heard what the young lady said and noded it was as he thought it was. "I am Loki the Guardian of The Dawn Striders." Loki shook a little his feathers puffed out thn layed back down flat. "No wonder why i have been called." Loki sat down on his haunches and nodded to the little one then launched himself into the air again till he saw his master and flew down and landed amongst everyone of the people that was there. Turning his attention from Raigon, whom although he'd met before, He was uninterested in the wolf-man, He saw the Holy knight whom he'd accompanied before Oh, she looks busy... The man cloaked in robes of darkness thought "And I really wanted to introduce myself..." He said dishearteningly as he plopped himself on the dirt

Rashnu began to walk out of the ocean towards the girl. Unlike the girl who gave off a small grin his face still remained stolid. Even under the thing ice layer his lips did not move. He wasn’t expecting anyone else to come to the beach so early. Then again he was making a lot of noise so sooner or later people would have been drawn. His ears were a little surprised to hear the girl compliment him. Part of his male teen pride wanted to say something like ‘that’s right. My control of water is the best’ to further stroke his ego, but he did not say anything like that. At the same time he couldn’t be too humble about it. After using such a strong term as ‘subjugation over the ocean’ he couldn’t just let that slip away or else she may think him a liar. Instead his voice settled with terse “Thank you.”. In actuality he wasn’t born or blessed with any gift over water or any other element. His body was constructed to do so and only thanks to the Eyes of Kutiel that he could keep such control on it. Of course no one other than Rashnu could have controlled the seven eyes, but the fact still remained that he wasn’t born with a gift to any elements. But she didn’t need to know that.
As he approached his eyes scanned the ivory clad female once again. She had a unique staff with her. Something the boy would have to look into sooner or later. Rashnu waited for her to become silent before speaking. “Yes… water is very powerful, because of its adaptability. I don’t know if I would call it the best, but in the right user’s hands it can be very devastating. Have you seen a powerful person who could control water in the past?” the boy questioned. His pace stopped a few feet away from the girl and both arms crossed his chest as she continued to talk. “Are you a fire user? Fire is a fierce element. With enough practice you can have as much control as I.” the blue teen said. He wondered if this girl wished to control the water like he did. “What is your name?” was his last question before a giant shadow shrouded the two bodies.
A large dog like demon with wings of an eagle and horns of a ram had descended on the beach. “What the hell is that?” the icy heart boy thought as the creature began to speak. His mind was growing slightly anxious, but his body did not give in to that anxiety. Like a slab of ice, his body remained unmoving and unyielding to the form of the thing before him. Surprisingly the thin girl did not seem fearful of such a form. Wouldn’t a normal girl be afraid? This acknowledgment made the youth contemplate that the ivory lover may not be what she appears to be either. “Something I should keep in mind…”. The two finished conversing with the creature introducing itself as Loki. “Guardian Loki…” Rashnu thought before asking another question to the pale maiden. “How do you know such a beast?”

Turning away from the joyous couple, the captain leaves them to their mushy joy. Until the twins were actually born, the news of their presence would be meaningless. She needed to keep Mori out of harm's way to protect the children, as well as the mental health of the young couple. Letting them be together to enjoy each other and the fetuses, the Dawn Captain turns to face the rest of the group. The presence of the winged-wolf surprises her, and her expression fades to one of annoyance. Walking swiftly over to the creature's side, she swats him at the base of his neck. "Loki!" she snarls, crossing her arms to show how she felt about his presence before vocalizing it. "What do you think you're doing?! If you're here, who's keeping the rest of these pesky factions off my land?!" she asks in anger, expecting a good answer from the beast. Casting a single glance to the woman who Loki had been speaking to moments before, she evaluates that she is a Red Guard of rank. It took her a moment to realize that the wolf had spoken to her, and she sighs a bit. "You know I didn't, you just wanted to come see what all the fuss was about." tsking, the captain decides to make the best of the situation. "But since you're here, I'll put you to use.... See the girl over there?" she asks, pointing unmistakebly at Mori. "She's pregnant, twins. Knowing her, she'll probably refuse to return to the castle. I'm making you guardian of the pregnant Dawn Strider until this situation is completely taken care of. If she objects, then you aren't to listen to her. No matter what happens, you are to protect her along with the unborn children. Understood?"

Loki growled only slightly from the light swat at the back of his kneck knewing she could do alot worse to him if she wanted. Loki looked to The Dawn Strider that she was talking about and noded giving a slight smile he always had a soft spot for children. Loki looked up to his mistress and couldnt keep the wolfish smile off of his lips at her saying who was protecting the lands. "You know that I would not leave it unguarded i switched places with someone i know very well.As for taking care of the young couple I will do so willingly. If she refuses i wont listen to her. You also know that she cant loose me if she trys to escape am i allowed to herd her back to the dawn strider lands?" Loki decided to wait for his mistresses answer before he headed over to the young couple.

"You are to do as necessary. The woman is your first priority, though I expect you to keep an eye on the husband as well." she sighs, arms slipping to rest on her hips. She shifts to one side, showing she was impatient, though not necessarily with Loki alone. "Do not leave her alone, unless for certain necessities. And even then, you are to wait for her. Do not act if there is even the smallest possibility that she will be in harm's way. You are not to return to my side until this matter has been settled, and I'm sure that you will realize when this is. I'm trusting you with something very important, Loki. Do not let me down."

Shiroka was pleased that Rashnu seemed to like the water element and that he understood the power contained in it. Her pale face took a soft pink ton when Rashnu told her that she could become a decent fire bender. She had not much faith of her own power, although she trained daily. She wanted to answer to his comments and questions but Loki's appearance delayed her response.
The wolf creature flew away quickly, not lingering long with them. He introduced himself though and Shiroka was grateful for it. "I met him once." she answered, her eyes not fully focused. "We met briefly in a place far far away from here." ...and so different... she shivered at the memory. Here, with the sun slowly rising and casting a warm light, she felt nothing bad could happen.
As if electrocuted, she jolted and turned to Rashnu with a bow. "Forgive my manners. I am Shiroka, first...euh second rank knight of the Red Guard. May I know what is your name?" she asked back. Before he could answer she added. "I have never seen such a display of water manipulation. I met once a water bender, but he disliked his element so much...what a pity."
She smiled at the adolescent despite his cold appearance which made her shyer. "Fire is indeed powerful. I just...don't know if I have the...euh...temperament of a fire bender." She was calm and soft, worshiped water and often thought that air would have been closer to her inner heart. But she knew deep in her that water was close to her because of her own real nature and if the Queen had trained her to the art of fire, She had a reason for it. Shiroka's gaze was not able to sustain Rashnu's and she looked away towards the ocean.

Hasslar watched as the great beast flew over their camp. Outwardly, he maintained a trained, stoic expression, but inside he was awed by the sight. He had not known that the Dawn Striders kept such a fearsome beast as their guardian. He did not even bother to size the creature up. A glance could tell anyone that it was formidable. Yet, his sense of awe faded quickly and he began to glance around the camp again. Everyone was so involved in their own business, relaxing, and sharing tender moments... To the casual observer, Hasslar thought, this gathering looked more like a picnic than a war party! It was times like this when he missed his birthplace...
Hasslar remembered it all too vividly. The smell of the forge. The sounds of warriors in training ringing through the air.. The sight of the entire Royal Guard standing in file, ready to lay their lives down for their queen at her slightest whim...... But that place was barred to him... It no longer existed for him... He did miss it... But never wept for it. All those memories did for him was rekindle the flames of dark vengeance that burned in his cold, reptilian heart. And now he was growing impatient. These people were far too soft... The call for action had been put forward, but he did not see any before him who were willing to act. When would they move?
Hasslar emitted a low, impatient hiss, allowing his forked tongue to lash outward from his mouth as he did so. He began to slither around the camp in an attempt to find the one leading this war party...

Rashnu listened to her words first before stating anything. He decided not to push the topic of the flying dog demon. It was not a threat…. at the moment. The woman suddenly turned and bowed introducing herself. “Shiroka…” the youth allowed the words to play through his head and over his tongue. The knowledge of her rank was surprising to the boy. He thought the maiden in white was someone of his tier, but she was someone of a higher rank. “There is no need to bow for me. Especially if you’re of a higher rank. If anything I showed be bowing to you…” Rashnu replied back although he made no inclination at first to do such a thing. He didn’t mind being a subordinate to others, but at the same time certain traditions of authority his mind would not allow. Part due to a rebellious youth nature that is not absent in many teens. The girl continued before the cerulean skinned boy could get in a word, her face smiling as she chatted about his element. Shiroka then spoke about hers before turning away.
Even though her face pivoted Rashnu’s did not. He wasn’t one to break eye contact as easily so as she looked towards the sea his gaze followed her sapphire orbs. “It is a shame he doesn’t like his element. One should always make use of the talent they have. Maybe he just needs to see a high level of water manipulation to change his mind.” his voice began before moving on to Shiroka. “As for your element… hmm well maybe for any element. It is not just about temperament. It’s about attitude and resolution. Your skills with fire probably make my water manipulation seem like tricks of a novice.” his motionless mouth echoed out. While Rashnu was confident in his skills and knew his ocean handling was very proficient, he couldn’t be too foolish in this new environment. His eyes have yet to gauge the powers of others and while rank was a general indicator of strength it did not give him all the information he needed.
As his eyes watched the azure pupils gaze out to the ocean the teen had to wonder slightly of her love of the water. “Shiroka, do you live by the ocean? Ohh I am a Holy Knight of the third class. My name is Rashnu.”.

Shiroka smiled at the younger knight. She could feel the strength of his mind. "The ocean?" she shook her head. "No, I am a daughter of still water. I used to live by a pond." ...actually on a pond... she thought, but stayed quiet.
She shook her head. "Your water manipulation remains impressive, high rank or not." She seemed to slightly glow. Rashnu was right, resolution was key. Now that she had sealed her fate by killing one of the man who had assassinated her Queen, she would have to develop her offensive abilities as well as her defensive ones. She had to believe in herself, the same way her friend Yata did and the same way Rashnu believed in himself.
"I should not bother you any longer." she said to the Holy Knight. They needed to gather and start discussing the matter at hand and she started walking towards the group. She turned after only a couple of steps and said softly. "Thank you Rashnu."
She then walked back towards the others, some asleep and some awake and tried to find her Leader. Where was Jin?

Gabrielle felt weary. She turned to Dimitri. "We need to gather and take decisions." She wanted to train and enjoy herself on the water, but she decided that getting things going was more important. Dimitri and herself were the higher rank among the Holy Knights but the Leaders of the Red Guard and the Dawn Striders were there and she hoped that they would be the one leading the group.
Gabrielle gathering her things. She secured her pouch at her belt. Then put back Eosy, her air katana on her back and Aqual, her water one, at her belt. She did not waste time looking presentable and just headed for the Leaders present amongst the group.
The Dawn Captain was the first one in sight. "Lady Captain." she bowed at the shorter woman. They had met once before, under sad circumstances: the death of someone close to Fornicatus. Gabrielle stood pale and dark as her usual and she wondered how to inquire further. "You and Lord Jin are the only two Leaders amongst us. Therefore it would be normal for both of you to lead the discussion about the matter at hand."
The knight paused as she felt the presence of a close by dark knight which she had not noticed earlier. Gabrielle turned her head and looked at the snake man. Impressive she thought before turning back to the Dawn Captain. "I fear we might be running out of time and decisions need to be taken." she added and waited on the Leader.

Loki nodded again to the captains words and said his his echoing growling voice. "I have never failed at a task you have set me to up to date and nor shall I ever fail on any task you send me to do." Loki gave a very loud rumbling growl that many would mistake for something it wasnt in reality it was just the beasts way of laughing. "I shall protect both of them with my life and make sure the little ones will come to this world unharmed as you have commanded mistress."

He was of mixed emotions regarding the joining of the factions. On the one hand chaos was a dangerous thing, and it was good to know so many were willing to fight it. Ont he other, Saul dispised Dark Knights. But right now, all that mattered was the look in his neice's eyes. At first he tried to rtain his manly posrue, but in the end grinned stupidly and leaned forward conspiratorily.
"I went quite far this time around, and to the east there was a land that specialized in one thing above all else." Or so it must have seemed to the one track minded Angel. Slipping a hand into his pack, hidden beneath his cloak, he pulled a small wax papered bundle, pressing it into Nina's hand. winking, he urged her to open it... even as he sulked. That chocolate was easily the finest smoothest blendhe'd ever tasted, and Saul would know.
