Le sigh*, I know this post won't be appropriate for this thread, but I am sure Kyrenx won't mind. Now were to start....

I have to concur with Kyrenx on this one. I understand that all of you have the right to voice your opinions and grievances, but you all must understand, that we don't have to put up with it as well. We the gym leaders, are taking what little personal time that we have out of our lives, to run this league and accept challenges. Battling almost the same OU team types, toppled with challengers constantly demanding their battles can take its toll on us. If anything, this has led to me being burnt out of the game almost entirely.

To also throw on the top of that, and yes, I am re-iterating when I say this? If a challenger earns all 8 badges, then what? The elite four challenge isn't really even ready yet. Is the only reason why someone wants to earn all eight badges from a battlers (who I might add, restrict themselves to single type teams which makes it harder on us to defend) do so just for the sake of an ego boost?

The whole concept from what I can understand behind our wi-fi league was, to generate more interest in battling and friendly competition while both paying homage to our most favorite game and for the sake of fun.
I can see that it met many of those objectives already so why the complaining if one doesn't earn all badges via inactivity?

Constant barrages of complaints and impatience soaks away a lot of the fun in our end.

To further note, I would have to disagree with you Dark Serge on sacrificing ten minutes out of our life. I may have time to check my messages on gaia for ten minutes, but I will not always have 30 minutes to devote to one battle. (which by far is the average time it takes me in a given battle.) Hell, I have missed far too many of my prior commitments because of over extended battles.

*Clears throat and takes a deep breath.*

Please don't take what I have stated as any personal attacks against anyone. This has been bottled up inside me and I felt that it had to be said as well.

The league itself is a work in progress, and its going to take time to mend out the dings. As stated before, and I will state this again, Have more patience.

@Zet: That is the gist of all who are involved feels. I believe that this league is still going to need a little more reform, especially with all the inactivity and delay. But I believe we shall leave that for another thread.

Well this is interesting indeed..... Ky I will say the "wheres my battle thing" gets annoying. But as someone who has probably done so in the past I understand it. However I can hardly not blame myself though. I have been so busy that even when I check my PMs for apprentice battles I don't have time to do them. It is a shame that it is now that we are busiest as it is finals time, lots of spring sports, and (for me anyway) lots of things going on in the family. It just gets difficult to wait for someone to get online or scheduling doesn't always work. I just want to let anyone who is waiting for my battle (one person as far as I know currently) That yes I'm on at least once a day, whether the time I'm on and you are on are the same , I check my mail daily and scheduling greatly improves your chance for catching me and our leaders. I'm just saying randomly PMing one of us when you happen to see us on is not the greatest strategy.

Sorry just had to get that out because you don't know how many times I've dealt with PMs that I don't see until the next day and then get crap for it from the sender. (then again some of you do) Sorry Kyrenx for spamming up your gym with this stuff.

Dark Serge- The random PM while I'm on is what I'm talking about. Most times I log on long enough to see if I have a new PM or check a guild or forum for about five minuets then I'm off to my days next event. Just saying when I log on its not likely I'll have time for a long drawn out battle. Hints the bolded and underlined word Scheduling. in my last post.

I'm poking in on my break, may have to wait until Sunday. I work late tonight and have family related stuff to deal with on Saturday.

Ugh, it appears we're at yet another delay. I'm going to be online for a little longer for tonight if your on right now. If not, I'll try and battle you tomorrow before I head off to work. sweatdrop

I'll try and be online most of tonight. I have a feeling your going to trample over my team to be completely honest, as my most recent battles have shown me that I have definitely been making way too many n00b mistakes thanks to this long hiatus of battling I've taken. I'd give you a more accurate time, but my schedule fluctuates way too much for me to actually dedicate to any one specific time and the last thing I need is to hear complaints about how come I didn't up up at a time that I designated. Which funny enough, has happened already.

For everyone else listening in, I am working on some new rules that I will put in ASAP (as soon as I finish stamping out the details anyways) that will allow for more people to skip past da burner. I mean, having to track down one elusive member is hard enough. xd
