(( Sounds good to me. You skip or shall I? x3 ))
Mel tilted his head at the sound then chuckled to himself, pleased at how happy Tunda apparently was.

(( Oh fun! Okay~ ^^ ))
Mel yawned as he swept the floor in the dining room. He had already finished the kitchen and main TV room as well as some various other chores. Jobs like this however were never ending. No sooner had he swept or mopped the floor than someone tracked something in. And should Mel be in the room, they would also earn a deathly glare. For now this part of home was fairly quiet traffic-wise. As far as sounds go however, he could not tell as his headphones were turned up extra loud. Vacuuming would be next, but first a break; he was low on fuel.
Pulling out his 'phones and turning the music off, he put the broom away and headed for the kitchen.

((*chuckle*))
Tunda just so happened to be in the kitchen, his leg having healed up rather nicely during the time he'd been living with Mel and the others. His tail flicks slightly as he looks around for something to eat. He didn't want to be a pig, however, so was also trying to find something that could feed more than one person, like, say, if Mel happened to be hungry. He had to stand up on his tiptoes to even peer into the freezer, so his choices were extremely limited to what he could safely grab without pulling everything else out with it. His ears flick in annoyance, as he could just barely make out a few salmon fillets just out of reach. Pouting rather cutely, unknowing that anyone else was even in the room, he stares at the fish, as if willing it to move closer so that he could grab and cook it.

(( Is Tunda really that tiny? o: <3
Oh hey, let me know if there's anyone in particular you'd like Tunda to meet. I'll work them into the RP. x3 <3 ))
Mel paused in the doorway when he saw the freezer door open and Tunda just sort of hovering there. His predicament seemed fairly obvious - unless he was sticking his head in there due to a headache or something. Otherwise he had to be having trouble reaching something. Had it been a cabinet he would have suggested Tunda just climb on a counter. But that would be dangerous for him still, no matter how fervently he claimed that his leg was fine. Mel cleared his throat and spoke up: "Try climbing on a chair. It works for me."
The dragon grinned and continued into the kitchen, heading over to start up some tea on the stove.

((lol Yes, yes he is. 8D So cute. <3
*can't think of anyone immediately that wouldn't scare the poor boy at the momet* XD ))
Tunda jumps at the sound of someone else clearing their throat, leaping and hitting his head slightly on the door. Wincing, one hand to the back of his head, he blinks when he sees Mel, a blush crossing his face rapidly. "I... didn't think of that.." He says sheepisly, scurrying over and pushing a chair over before climbing up onto it and grabbing the fish out of the fridge. "Y-you hungry, Mas-Mel?" He obviously also still had problems with calling Mel Master, but at least he seemed able to catch himself before completing the word now.

(( Omgsocute. <3 And okay, we can wait no worries. x3 ))
Mel cringed a little as Tunda smacked his head. "Normally I don't either... I just climb the walls if needed." A minor overstatement, but at the moment that was about what he was doing, kneeling on a counter top to reach two cups and pull them out. Hopping down he grinned, "Yes! Actually, that was why I came in here. I'm taking a break. Er, other than your head, how are you doing, Tunda?" he inquired, moving back over to the stove to set the cups down.

((lol Yusyus! Although, if anyone were to come in and be an a** to Mel, Tunda might get a little... upset and sparky at them. XD Like a little attack dog that shoots electricity, I guess... lol))
Tunda hops down off the chair, the freezer door closing behind him. "I-I'm alright, I g-guess. H-haven't run into anyone else y-yet, so I d-don't know how well I'd do with anyone else in here at the moment. Y-you want some salmon and possibly some v-veggies?" He had been looking at various cook books during his time here, looking at different ways to prepare food so that he could feel that he was doing something at least to help pay Mel back, even if the other had said he didn't need to worry about it.

(( Aww... (always go d'aww over him though) x3 <3 ))
"Oh, well... it'll happen eventually," Mel began, looking up as someone else walked into the room. "Speak of the devil," he muttered sticking his tongue out with a grin.
Wearing a beat-up pair of jeans and little else, a tall unicorn wandered in from outside, where he and several others were working. He stopped at the chair blocking his path and moved it aside, opening the fridge and pulling out a case of water, holding it lightly under his arm. As the door shut behind him, he replaced the chair where he had found it and looked Tunda up and down. "This your new stray?"
"His name is Tunda, Jimi." Mel rolled his eyes.
Jimi shrugged and introduced himself, holding out a heavily-calloused, hoof-tipped hand. "Sorry, it's just that he thinks he can save everybody. Everything he does is really great, but we like to give him a little s**t anyway."
"And in return I spit in his soup..." Mel turned to Tunda. "Don't worry about him, he's actually very protective of everyone that lives here as careless as he sounds." How to explain that, as one of the first anthros to have lived, and in fact help build the Nullspace, he tended to regard it and everyone who lived here rather possessively?
"Yeah, whatever."
There was no point in trying. It wouldn't make any sense anyway.

At first, Tunda had shrunk back against Mel's side, eyeing Jimi warily. At Mel's explanation of the other, however, he timidly steps forward and offers his hand to the other, his tail sparking the slightest bit as he was still worried about being attacked suddenly. "H-hi.." He mumbles, eyes large in his face, ears flat against his head.

Jimi took Tunda's hand and held firmly onto it for a moment. "Kid, if you're going to stick around here you're going to have to get used to dealing with all kinds of people. This is everyone's kitchen. The only thing here that's yours is your room; you have to share everything else. Mel's just babying you--"
"Hey... he's been healing all this time. Maybe you've noticed the old bruises," the dragon grumbled. "He has to go at his own pace, this isn't the simple barroom brawl that you're used to."
"Well yeah, but the only way he's going to get used to all of this is if he throws himself into different situations, Mel." Then realizing he was still holding Tunda's hand, let go. "I gotta go take these out to the guys," he muttered, patting the water. "I'm not saying you guys are doing anything wrong, but think about what I said."

The moment his hand was released, Tunda allows it to drop back to his side, looking down at the ground at the others words before speaking in a voice almost too low to hear. "I-I've been t-trying... P-people j-just s-s-scare me..." He whispers, immediately turning around and heading back to the stove, rubbing at his eyes for a moment to get rid of the tears that threatened to flow out as he prepares the fish and other items he'd grabbed for dinner.

Jimi glanced gravely Mel's way before disappearing back outside.
Mel ran his fingers through his hair and sighed. "Your efforts aren't going unnoticed. Jimi was just trying to help, but only you know what you can and can not do at this point in time." He watched Tunda move back at the stove, then reached for the tea kettle which was beginning to whistle. He pulled it out of Tunda's way and prepared their tea in the cups he had brought out earlier. "Would you like some help with that?" he asked of the meal while he put the kettle onto a different burner to cool.

Tunda blinks and looks up at Mel, then shakes his head. "I-I can d-do it." He says, looking back down at the food, but still seeming to be somewhat depressed by the others words about how he was progressing. "I.. know I'm slow... B-but... C-can he really expect m-me to act d-differently, c-considering w-what I've b-b-been through...?" His voice sounds lost, as if he were doubting what progress he had made so far.

The dragon smiled and hugged Tunda, leaning his head on the pokemon's shoulder. Then he pulled away to take their tea over to the table, which also freed up that counter space for him to work at if he needed it. "You're doing just fine, Tunda. Like I said, you have to heal a lot more than just your leg. It's going to take you years. It's not one of those things that you can take a pill for, and expect to be 'well' in a couple weeks. There's all kinds of things left for you to learn, not just this," he gestured to the stove where Tunda was working, "or getting an education, but also learning how to trust the right people and eventually operating on your own. You basically got a late start compared to everyone else, that's not your fault and it doesn't speak ill of you. So again, your progress so far is great, really!"
