Why do you love Japan: My interest started with anime [[ =( ]] but now I have a genuine interest in learning the language, and more about their culture.
Ever been to Japan, if so where: Nope, but I reaaally want to go there -- after I learn the language a bit better. o.o

Why do you love Japan:
I was born in Taiwan and didn't move to Canada till I was around 7, so I grew up with some traces of Japanese culture all around me (school system, anime, etc.) Due to the influence, part of me kept learning more about the culture and traditions of Japan. I suppose you could say that anime/manga was a catalyst, but I like Japan more for its language, myths, and traditional backgrounds. Also the environment (natural as opposed to social. I can't make a judgement on the latter yet).
Ever been to Japan, if so where: Apparently was there as a young kid once (I faintly remember Tokyo Disneyland), but the more prominent memories are of the two tour trips that I took when I was older. (Main stops: Kyoto, Osaka, Kobe, Shinjuku, Narita)
Interests: reading, doodling, video games, manga/anime, badminton, computers, music, eating, sleeping...er, ignore the last two.

Why do you love Japan: The culture is very interesting and the language is (to me) easier to understand. Also, it's Japan. Seriously, what's not to like?
Ever been to Japan, if so where: Never been, but I'd love to visit some day.
Interests: Gaia (Obviously, lol), Wrestling, Music (I plan to be a music teacher and have been playing since I was 7), Preforming on stage, and just in general rocking out.

Personality: I'm extremely easy going and believe in taking things in strides, so to speak. I love music, period. Any kind of music, I'll listen to. I don't believe that all of one genre is bad because some songs may be better than others in other peoples opinion. Also, I hate it when people pre judge others. Everyone has some good in them, regardless of showing it all the time, and that's what I base my respect on. Speaking on respect, that's a big thing for me. So if your doing to show disrespect don't get offended if I come back twice as hard, because it's who I am.

Why do you love Japan: I love the language but most of all i love my friends mayu, yuka, and everyone else from Kouka Kyoto High who are like the most awesomest people in the world and they are coming to see us in February and its going to be awesome. And cause the culture is awesome and i loved being in japan by myself especially when i was at universal studios (usj or uniban (as yuka called it)) with three jap students who were all dumped on me by their host sisters in my grade. I had the most fun with yuka, mayu and kumiko especially their faces on the Spiderman ride... hehe. everyone must go to japland

Why do you love Japan: I love it because it's part of me; I'm half-Japanese. I was also exposed to Japanese culture in my childhood by watching shows like Soko ga Shiritai, Kinpachi Sensei, and Abarenbo Shogun.
Ever been to Japan, if so where: Yup. We went to Fukushima, Kyoto, Tokyo, Hiroshima, and Miyajima.

Why do you love Japan: I love the culture. I know everyone says that but I do. They are so open about everything and it is a society where you are not frowned down upon for wearing something different (unless you are in the wrong area). And the food...sometimes I just want to beg my father to give me a ticket to Tokyo, Japan just to eat a bowl of rice. The food looks so good and I am just dying to get a taste. I love the way teenagers dress...colors...and the lolita trend is something I would love to be apart of.
Ever been to Japan, if so where: No, I am in an exchange student program in my school though that has Japan next on the list.
Interests: Writing...I love to write...that's all I live for. Heh. Also I love sketching, drawing is the same, but sketching is preferred for me. I play the piano and I am on my school's drumline. Yet, a girl drummer. I also take Tae Kwon Do (Korean martial art, red belt).

Why do you love Japan: More the place than the people sweatdrop sorry to say. But i will answer on the note of people. I don't nessicarily think that they are open minded but rather I like the world's view on japan. (Even if some of it may be a lie sweatdrop ) I like going abroad period, but I figure in the near by future Japan will be top dog in industry so I'll try to find out as much about a place as I can.
