Kiri limped ahead next to James on the way to the cafeteria.

"Listen baby maybe we should slow down I can't really........"

Kiri stopped to lean against a wall her chest heaving from a broken rib that she wasnt sure how she got.

"I just need a break....prehaps you can carry me babby. Carry me in your nice, big, strong arms."

James gave Kiri a weird look taht showed a bit of confusion.

'What is this girl playing at. Does she have some kindd of crush on me or does she love flirting with people who break her jaw.'

"Keep movin."

James turned to leave and Kiri pushed herself off the wall to follow after her hand against her chest where is gave off a dull ache.

"Hey is there anyway I can get some pain pills for my wrist."

"Live with the pain."

James' voice was hard but in his mind he thought, 'how much longer am I going to have to put up with this?'

Turning one last corner James and Kiri reached the cafeteria causing James to turn around and go to leave Kiri alone.

"Oh baby are you just going to leave me here. You know I wont eat the food in there. Prehaps you should take me down to some village so I can get something to eat?"

James sighed before he continued to head away.

"Oh well I guess I'll strave, no big deal."

The police was every where. Gun shots could be heard ringing every where. Utter chaos was the only way to describe it. "Run! Dammit, Run!" Kirai turns around, just as the policeman raised the hand with the gun over his head.
Kirai woke up to a splitting headache, his body drenched in his sweat. He looked around the the room, surprised to see white walls. The walls at home were red. The walls at the base were black. Not to mention both of them were torn up and had graffiti on it. "Where the heck...oh yea." Kirai felt his arm where the hole was. It hurt when he tried to think back, but flashes came back, and with them, a rare frown on his face. "It was a sting and we fell into it. Then they took me here. Freaking Doctor Frankenstein. Something about powers." Kirai tried to sit up, but pain shot immediatly to his head. "Too fast." Okay. Just take a feew seconds to take it all in Old Rai of Blood. It'll be ok.

Tylor was getting bored quick, the games here were too depressing. Everyone seemed to be deperessed they were trapped or hating the good doctor for experimenting. Tylor on the other hand loved it, no one bothered him to love them or pay attention to anyone and the power he had gained so far only fueled his tastes for being at White Ridge. He wondered if the good doctor would give him more, it would seem boring just to leave someone with just a taste of power. If it was Tylor's choice, he would have fueled as much power into test subjects to play a game of pop goes the weasel to see how much a human could take before bursting from experimenting and then enhance himself, but it was the good doctor's experiement and not his. Tylor was now playing a game of explortation, checking out the student accessible areas to gain a full aspect of what he could do and where to go when he needed something for any of his games. Tylor would plan to spend large amounts of time reading in the library and playing games in the lounge, which he still wish he would have brought Duck Hunt for. With no hunger to bother him ,Tylor was now more bored then ever, no games seem to be able to get him through it either. It didn't matter, something outside oif the people's drama would turn up soon, all these relationships going on seemed to be a foolish game with no winner.

Sean sighed, he hated the boring parts of life. He flexed his hand, smiling a bit. He looked around, eyeing the other "patients". Sean muttered, "Let's have some fun." He took out a lighter he had pickpocketed off a guard. "Smoking's so hazardous to the health...what with all the fire and what not..." he prepared to set the table on fire, when he saw more kids coming in. He rolled his eyes and mumbled, "maybe later," putting the lighter away.

Kirai took a deep breath and got out of bed, his head burning with the thoughts still swarming in his head. Kirai stumbled to the door and looked out. To his utter disgust he saw one of the most ugliest people staring back at him. Kirai reeled back in disgust. "I guess you’re a teacher? Guard?" The man pointed to the closet in the room. Kirai followed where the finger was pointing and opened the closet. Inside was some of the most awesome cloth he had ever seen. "Not flashy enough for my taste, but I guess I could do something. A bit of hemming, trimming, and designing." Kirai slipped the plain, boring uniform on, and then walked back to the guard. Now that his head wasn't in serious pain, he could remember something so important that he slapped his forehead for forgetting, bringing on another wave of pain. "Hey. We got some food in this place. I'm so hungry that I could eat a horse. Or you. Never mind, horse seems cleaner." The man turned around and began to walk away. Kirai followed the guard, who he had dubbed Chat. As they walked the plain corridors of the academy, Kirai held a one sided conversation with Chat, like, "How was your life been Chat?" or "You know Chat, this could be the start of a beautiful friendship. At least, more beautiful than you." Finally they reached the cafeteria. With what seemed a sigh of relief, Chat left. Kirai took a look at some of the people there, and came upon a shocking truth. "You all stole my cloths!" Typical Rai Still.

((haha YES! back from vacation! OMG! so much! i'll try and catch up))

Brynn Syvra didn't like the way this was going. Her power was pain. That was pretty awesome in itself. But the fact that it seemed like she was the only one with the pin scars in her leg seemed to be indicative of her power. The ones who had powers that stemmed from mind manipulation had major scarring and stitches on their heads.
Then a guard appeared, shoving the girl through the doors into the dining hall. Brynn Syvra definitely didn't like this. "Dawn," Brynn Syvra whispered out of the corner of her mouth, "if my power is pain, how do I activate it?"

Felicia had just eased her tense and in much pain body onto a seat at an empty table when she heard shouting from a young man; 'You stole all my cloths!' Felicia blinked a couple times. They were in a place like this and that's all he could think of to say? Felicia turned her head to see who had said such a ridiculous thing, her grey eyes staring through her black bangs. The guard who had brought the man in was scanning the room, and when his eyes landed on Felicia she scowled and stuck out her tongue. The guard grunted at the rude gesture and ignored her as he finished checking out the cafeteria. Felicia rested her head in the palm of her hand as she watched the young man dully, waiting to see what he would do next.

Dr. Gerard was in a foul mood, that much was evident. The subjects where stronger than he anticipated. Xavior should have warned him of this. He entered his study and grabbed the phone in one swift movement. His hands moved quickly over the dials, as if it where a second nature.
"Hello Kane. How are you this evening?" A deep suave voice called from the other line.
"Xavior, I need more guards. I can't upgrade them fast enough. The subjects are out of hand. Was taking delinquents the best idea?" Gerard went on, his voice not giving away his panic.
"Trust me my dear friend. Taking the ones no one wanted was the best way. I will send in higher security. Have you started project Link?" His tone was as if they were discussing how the weather was, when in reality the matter was utterly serious.
"Yes. I plan to set the subjects straight with a little demonstration."
"Good. The new enforcements should arrive tomorrow morning. Good night Kane."
With that the two hung up.
Conversations between the two where never long, and where always to the point. Though many feared Gerard, even more feared Xavior.
Gerard walked over to his bookshelf where he removed a leather bound book, that resembled a encyclopedia. Inside there were no pages, but instead a small keypad. Quickly he punched in the code and placed the book back in it's place.
For a moment nothing happened, then a low hiss sounded as a hydrolic mechanism kicked in, moving the bookshelf away, revealing a passage way.
Gerard made his way down the passage and into a privet lab.
The lab was circular, and the walls where covered in monitors and stations of computers. He approached the main computer and activated it.
"Voice activation." A female voice responded.
"Gerard Edward Kane."
"Voice verification, confirmed."
The computers suddenly jumped to life, revealing the personal information of each subject. Current body temperature, blood pressure, circulation, everything.
Every bit of information that ran through the spinal cord, was here. But Gerard didn't seem interested in that at the moment.
Next to the main computer was a large blue button, he pressed it . There was a clicking sound as a metal tube emerged from the floor. In the tube was a silver remote, that slightly resembled the one you would find to your tv. He smiled down at the small device as he picked it up.
It was light, and small but held a power that the subjects here wouldn't understand...but they were about to.
Pocketing the device, Gerard went back over to the computer.
"Chips activated." Said the female voice again, after Gerard had typed something into the computer. His smile grew, like a child anticipating Christmas. There was nothing Gerard liked more than power.
Gerard then left the lab, and returned to his study.
"Attention subjects..." Gerard spoke over the fuzzy intercom. He would have to ask Xavior for a better system later.
"Everyone must report to the Dining hall immediately. Failure to comply will result in punishment most severe." Gerard wanted to make sure everyone saw this. That everyone knew who was in charge. Who had the power.
A soft knock at the door tore him from his thoughts.
"Come in." He spoke. A timid looking lab worker stepped in, looking like he would rather be walking bare foot on acid than standing before the Dr.
"Sir, the required updates for the guards have begun." His voice was wasn't trembling...but his knees were.
"And?" Said the Dr., eager to leave.
"Would you like us to upgrade the strength to S-sir?"
"Yes. Now out of my way." The Dr. shoved the small man aside suddenly impatient and strode down to the elevator, the device in his pocket seemed to brighten his mood.

Sean heard a person yelling about clothes, but wasn't paying attention. His mind was focused on the voice coming on the intercome. Now what is this all about, I wonder. Sean sighed, he noticed more patients coming in and realized once the last of them came through the guards were no doubt bound to follow. This may not have been the perfect place for mayhem...but then, would any place in the near future be any different? Sean grinned as he ate whatever the disgusting food he was served was and decided things...could get interesting if he played his cards right. He understood his power was practically useless in the middle of a brawl or a takeover, but everything had potential...he just needed to bide his time and figure out what its uses could do for him. He softly played with the lighter, a green one with a purple flame on it. It was half-filled and he hadn't used much of it...yet.

Dawn had thought that the conversation had been going rather well, but the click of the fuzzy intercom as it buzzed to life made her smile brighter then ever. Yes, now everyone could see what her father was capable of! They would know they were in good hands.
Dawn looked eagerly over to the others, nodding encouragingly.
“Good thing we are already here,” she said. “Wouldn’t want to be late. The Dr. wouldn’t appreciate that at all.”

--------
For a minute Jack thought it was the high that made his ears buzz, but a chilling voice quickly slashed through the fog of his mind and called him down to the dining hall.
Well, wasn’t that just perfect? This was fair at all. How was anyone supposed to relax when the evil Dr. himself was herding him into a room full of people?
And then his heart skipped a few beats. He shot up, making the blood rush around his body in a nauseating roller coaster. Alice would be there. He would have to face her so soon after betraying her.
Jack stood up and walked over to the bathroom to check himself out in the mirror. Everything was alright with the face staring back at him: no redness or dilation of the eyes, no signs of being high such a short time ago. The only thing he had to fix was his hair. Jack quickly combed his hand through it a few times, straightened out his button-up shirt for good measure, and left the room, heading for the dining hall

Tylor smiled, hopfully it was mor news from the good doctor himself. Hopfully it wasn't bad news, like they were sending everyone home. Tylor had just arrived and yet had any chances to test his abilities given by the good doctor. On the other hand, it could be an extermination like a gas chamber to start over on his experiment, there was alot of whiners among these sad lots crying to go home, Tyor had half a mind to play a game punch to the gut so they had something real to cry and complan about. However, he didn't want to make a bad first impression to the others by punching some emotional basket case in the gut, his strength would only add to it and maybe kill the person too. He still retained a bit of a lust to kill like his parents, but the current atmosphere made it a bit hard; Tylor didn't know how the good doctor took to murder. Tylor was one of the first to arrive at the hall, taking a far seat in the back and making sure no one else sat beside him; He hated company when he was thinking.

Another announcement, then. Hal had already been thinking that; the intercom confirmed it. Though why they'd thrown the girl in there so strongly-
The girl! Hal quickly turned around, trying to catch sight of her again. There she was, not far away. Hal remembered the way she'd stared at them with disgust and fear and wanted to help. I think I'll be the official Welcoming Committee.
She got up and was halfway over to the girl before a new student walked in and said "You all stole my clothes!" Hal stopped, blinked, and looked down at herself. Nope, she was definitely wearing her own clothes. The student's clothes looked more like nursing scrubs - she stole a glance at Dawn - although Dawn seemed to be perfectly fine with them...
Hal shook her head briskly and kept walking. She slid into a seat beside the new girl, who kept her eyes on the strange boy. "Hey," Hal said. She gestured at the boy. "You get all sorts in here, huh? Name's Hal. Anything I can do to help you out?"

Sean, deciding he had a bit of time before things began, got up from his lunch table. He was about to walk to one of the guardsmen in hopes to..."aquire" another object when he noticed a man was standing by himself. "Well us misfits must stick together." he whispered to himself as he moved slowly yet consistently over to Tylor. He had seen the kid before, a big man compared to Sean. He decided if things were going to get interesting, he needed to start making some connections. He didn't need followers or groups, he needed...information. "Hey," Sean said without emotion, "you new here? I think i've seen you before...then again, the experiments are making me lose my mind." Sean chuckles a bit to himself while looking at Tylor for anything he can gain from his emotion. "What's your name?"

Felicia heard footsteps and looked at the corner of her eye to see who was moving out of habit. It was a girl, and to her surprise she was coming towards her. Felicia was stiff as a board before the girl had been withing six feet of her. Her grey eyes stared half-blindly at the brave girl who had for some reason decided to sit right next to her. Why? Her thoughts hissed as a very displeased look automatically set her pale, tired features. Felicia slowly and cautiously slid away from Hal finding with much irritation that she didn't have far to go; she had sat near the end of the seat. "Yeah.." Was her slow and cautious reply. Felicia turned her head as far away from the girl as she could while still watching her out of the corner of her eyes. Felicia made a sour face at her last remark as her fists clenched even tighter making it look like her hard knuckles would tear through her pale skin. A sudden thought came to her. She's trying to be nice. Nice? People aren't nice.. But her thought was contradicted by the image of her lost friend in her mind, making her heart ache. Aiden hadn't been very friendly to people either, but he had still been nice to others. He tried to teach her that but Felicia didn't get much of a chance to learn.

Felicia shut her eyes and tried to take a deep breath but it was cut short by gut wrenching pain all throughout her body. One of her slender arms curled around her stomach as she sat there stiff, the girl obviously waiting for a response. Felicia opened one grey eye to look at Hal through her black bangs with the same determined and defensive distaste still there. Although it was subtle Hal could probably tell that she was trying to squash all the hate and anger she had for her despite the fact that they didn't even know each other. Felicia shut her eye again and lowered her head, concentraiting on ignorinig the pain and putting on an indifferent look. "No.." Was her short and strained reply. She hesitated before adding on. "Thank you, though." Felicia tried as best as she could to sound at least a little bit sincere, but it sounded mangled and almost distressed.

(Why yes, I shall make a wall of text Bella.)

Tylor gave Sean a strange look, one mixed with anger and boredom. He hadn't spoke since he arrived at White Ridge, not even to the good doctor yet. Tylor was feelnig generous today and this guy seemed to want something from him that Tylor wouldn't currently mind giving if he had it.

"Names Tylor."

That is all he said, he immediantly went back to being secluded within his own mind. Almsot immediantly however, he snapped out of it and began speaking to Sean again.

"Are you another one of the basket cases that whines about home? Or do you accept the fact your cries don't matter in this game?"

Tylor wasn't going to talk to Sean anymore if he was just another emotional wreck, Tylor hated those who complained about things that weren't gonig to fix themselves. Those who complain instead of taking action are the losers of the game of life, wihle the ones who take actions are the people who will be the winners of the game of life. Tylor didn't know Sean so he didn't know what kind of player he was; A loser or a winner.
