She looked at Joxer and rolled her eyes, her hands still placed on his hips. Then lifted her head from looking at him Xena looked around still no sign of Gabrielle. she looked at Joxer and said "Gabrielle is pregant, Joxer. she isnt taking it to well." she looked at him again worried look on her face. "i dont know what to do. it wasnt easy be being pregnant with Eve, being followed, or stalking. i dont know which by a god who is in love with me." she then looked around again. "Hey Joxer would you do anything to save Gabrielle, from anything, even if it meant helping someone else?" she asked him.

Xena looked at him "yea it is but not when its the God of War." she then looked around wondering why its taken Gabrielle so long to cool down. she then looked at Joxer and said "but thanks for the advice Joxer, you'll find Gabrielle in the woods." she then headed to the temple of Ares on the other side of town.

well deh god of war is....THE GOD OF WAR? eek i think i hear um....i hear gabby callin...mebbe ninja so yea. ill go look for her. but you go have fun with that problem 3nodding *stumbles away bumpin inteh lots of people. walks into deh forest yellin out gabbys name*

She watched Joxer stumble off as she headed down to the temple. After avoiding the crowd she headed through the temple door and it closed behind her. walking and looking around she said "Ares!" there was no response so she called to him again "Ares, come out here." she said standing still now, placing her hands on her hips as she waited for his response, or for him to show up.

Xena jerked her head toward him as he appeared and narrowed her eyes at him and said "well it seems its going to get be busier around here. so i believe you offered me a deal. well i thought about it and even asked a...friend for advice." her hands now down and off her hips as she walked toward him and said "you promised Gabrielle will be safe if i joined your army. even i alone cant protect Gabrielle from everything that gets into harms way." she looked away ashamed she has to make this deal happen. she then looked at him said "so we still have a deal?" she asked him looking into his brown eyes.

he looked at his hand has she really thought this through enough, what weas she thinking. she looked at Ares hand "wait a hand shake, since when? never mind forget i asked." she place her hands on her hips and paced the floor. things change rather quickly she thought. but what happens if Gabrielle isnt pregnant meaning what happened between them didnt take. she sighed she couldnt risk Gabrielle's life that way. she stopped in front of him now looking at him in the eye and shook his hand.

she looked at him as she was pulled closer to him and said "i dont know any way around this Ares, not what i did to you in when Athena attack my home while Eve was still a baby. and i know you would have kept your word but i had to do it myself." she looked at him still her body close to his "else i wouldnt have made this deal. i want Gabrielle and her child safe." she added then smiled somewhat as his compliment to her. "i thought you were the only god who liked me, i know the others gods dont look at our relationship as a happy one. i mean they frown on you for loving me." she added.

none of them really matter stare and you know aphrodite doesnt have anythin against you.

she looked at him and said "yes well, they need to get over themselves." she smiled when he didnt deny his love for her. she then pulled away from him and said "i didnt think you would put me on a short leash, but you do know how to find me." she smiled slightly feeling a bit awkward now she looked at him for a long moment for placed a kiss on his lips placing a hand on his face.
