Emu yells out as she rushes threw the flames “Not going to work!” although she looks scorched as she exits the flames she still moves forward and attacks the two door guards. Lifting her hand up she pulls Laz off his feet and throws him back into the buildings wall. Using her dual swords she attacks Bellamin and receives his damage as well. His attacks is stopped by his own emulated resistance ability but his spell deals a small amount of damage. After slashing him with both swords she leans forward and rams her shoulder into Bellamin (smash) knocking him to the side as well and rushes threw the door way. With her body still smoldering and smock raising form it as she moves she reaches the door way and has just enough time to see that Van has found something before yelling “No!” in what seems to be the first cry of distress you have heard from her yet. with that she falls victim to the fire spells damage and collapses to the ground dispersing into the air as a cloud of black mist the suddenly flies away.

During his search Van finally found something that may be what the girl was looking for. One section of the cement floor has what appears to be a square cut into the cement. Each side of the square appears to be about five feet long. The cut that makes the square is so small it its quite hard to see and you don’t think you would have ever noticed it if you had not been looking for it.

(Emu uses her combat dice to help with getting threw the flame [just don’t ask, it had no real effect she still takes all the damage] I’m throwing you a little bit of a bone because I don’t think just throwing a spell at her should work again but I wanted it to have some effect, but because of Laz joining in and dealing so much damage to her she is now going to be gone for another round.)

Bellamin takes 12 damage(6 normal from attack – 4 from resistance and – 3 from die roll (even since it was not rolled) + 6 from the energy sword + 6 from smash)

"Ugh..." Bellamin crawled out of the debris, bloodied and bruised. "Where'd she go?" Dusting off his clothes, he stood up the best he could and started to hobble over to the warehouse and where Van had been searching. "Any luck?" The will'o'wisp floated over from hiding out above the water. "Some use you are!" The spellsword yelled as he struck out at the spirit and toppled over onto the floor.

As the girl entered the door Van had his blade in hand ready to ward her off again, luckily the combined might of Lazarus and Bellamins powers put a stop to her, for the moment.

Having finally located the cut square Van concentrates his telekinetic power into lifting the slab out of it's slot. I have located what I believe to be a lid cut out of the concrete floor. It must be hiding something. Then almost as an after thought, Greetings, Ma'am, Arch Master Lazarus, my name is Van. I would shake your hands as is the customary greeting in Miyr, but as we are under some duress I hope you will excuse my rudeness.

Without looking at her, the boy continues to work on prying the slab free. Well Miss Darklight, I can assure you that she has not "escaped." Her recent behavioral patterns suggest that she will be back any moment, and the only "moves" that she responds to are ones of an offensive nature, as she has yet to display a "good side" of any kind. confused

Still subconsciously jabbing Lazurus in the stomach with her left elbow Xi looked over at the guy playing with the slab swatting at the irritating will-o-wisp with her right.

"Need a hand perchance? You look to be having a spot of trouble"

Without waiting for a reply she used her elbow jabbing as a way to gently 'push off' from Lazarus and walked over to crouch next to the man.

"Van isn't it? Here let me give you a hand with that."

She promptly grabbed one side of the slab and attempted to assist by levering it out of it's socket.

"So any ideas on how you are going to go about defeating her then? Seems pointless to throw spells and swing swords if all it does is make her stronger. I am still all for the seduction plan myself" The girl giggled to herself at the thought of all the guys around her each putting their moves on a copycat creature girl.

"No, and no for me to do the seduction thingy." He still stayed on the ground, aparently quite comfortable.

"Apparently, I became the Baron's daughter's boyfried a while back. Didn't really see her at all after that... And besides, if it can emulate our abillities? How do we know the gender? Mabye this girl appearance is just a guise."

He took the hand and got up. "Look, mabye me and Laz'll get some mage buddies, and just nuke the thing to another plane." Bellamin stretched out, and several different cracking noises origionated from his back. "That kick kind of hurt you know." In retaliation, he kicked her shin.
