"True. It's weird; I keep forgetting that there's no school schedule. It's throwing me off." she sighed, and she sat next to Al, seeing if he'd recover. Ray returned a few moments later with two drinks, then took Kiyoko's hand and led them to the other end of the room, putting himself in the corner.
Then, two words she didn't expect to come out of Ray did come out:
"I'm sorry."
It took her a moment to let what he said sunk in. He was feeling regret, but why? He wasn't really being all that much of a jerk....ok, a little bit. But he actually was showing, physically showing, regret. Perhaps he was human after all. He finished his confession and looked away. It took the shy girl a moment to find her voice, but at the same time her look was kind as she eventually found it.
"T-there's no need to apologize. You were.......just following instincts, I suppose. Nothing wrong with that. Heh, I'm not really much of a conversationist, actually." she said with a small laugh. "I'm just merely putting in my opinons on things.

After leaving the awkward silence with her brother, Star started to wander down the hallway, looking for something to do. All of a sudden, Lucy's freinds stepped in front of her. "We've been looking for you." They said.
Star blinked. "Y-you have?"
"Yeah. Lucy would like to know what the hell you thought you were doing leaving with Ray lke that!" One of them said nastily. The rest just grinned.
Star almost burst out laughing. "Oh...THAT. Ray asked me to leave the cafeteria with him because it was way too crowded. I guess he took it the wrong way, so I told him I wasn't interested. Nothing happened." Star said convincingly. And she should have. It was true.
They looked stunned with such a straight forward answer, and turned their backs to Star to huddle. They whispered a bit, then turned back to her. They smiled. "Would you like to come hang with us for a while, Star?"
Star bit her lip. Things were already bad enough with Josh, but could they get worse? Only one way to find out...and maybe they weren't that bad...
"Um, sure." Star said with an awkward smile.
All of the four girls grinned even wider. They linked arms with Star and they all walked down the hallway.
After turning a few corners, they came upon Lucy and they started to hang. Star felt herself warming up to them more and more. Maybe they really weren't as bad as Josh thought they were. And they're fun to hang around.. Star thought happily. They stood in the hallway laughing and such.

Josh left the chemistry lab after Star did, only to see her meet up with Lucy's budds and walk off with them. Oh great. His own sister really was one of them now...this was just great. Josh started wandering the halls, looking for someone to hang with. He most certainly wasn't going to hang with Star now. No way. Josh sighed and sat down against a locker, bored. He pulled out his iPod and started listening to it.

Ray smiled a little bit. He pulled her a bit closer. "But I lost a chance with a wonderful girl. I know you hate me saying things like that, but it's true. I'm not just saying that. I realized that when I was shut down by some girl who was with the "popular" p***k..." he said and than laughed. He shook his head. "I just want you to forgive me. I wish I hadn't messed things up, not like they were going very far anyways..." he said softly.
He looked away for a moment. "Can I please have a hug?" he asked with a smile. "And will you please tell me what happened to you..." he said. "I want to know who harmed that gorgeous face of yours." He couldn't help but say those things every once in awhile. But he really did mean it. He wasn't just saying that to butter her up. He knew that she didn't seem to like him the way he'd like her.

"I don't hate you." Kiyoko said immediately. "It's the ego that gets in the way; I can tell you're a nice guy on the inside." she said with a smile. Mabye she was having feelings for him, just mabye. Assuming this wasn't a joke; wait, it wasn't. He was being completely serious. Why else would he have dragged her all this way over here? Besides, it's not like a guy has acted this way to her before. But she could see he was not convinced....yet. She suddenly felt butterflies in her stomach. "I forgive you." she said kindly, knowing this was what he was looking for; another chance. She grinned; she hoped to the lord that Ceila wouldn't kill her later, but if it brought out the non-egoistic side of him, then it was worth a shot. She liked this Ray better; it was a nice Ray.
She moved towards him and wrapped his arms around him, pressing herself against him into a warm hug. Ironically, the radio station began to play First Time, by Lifehouse. It buzzed lightly in the background as she stayed in this hug, his warm body against hers. She knew she'd be dead with Lucy; but she was dead with her already, so who cares? The song

Ray really wasn't that bad when he wasn't around other people to show off in front of. Even Celia said that, she got along with him pretty well at home. He laughed a little bit. "I'm glad to hear that. I wouldn't want you to hate me." he said happily. He was happy to hear that she didn't hate him. "I guess I do, but I'm trying to control that." he said with a smile. He knew that he was different when he felt the need to show off, but he couldn't help it. He saw that in himself.
Ray smiled as he hugged her. He wrapped his arms around her middle and held her tightly to him. He could feel how tight she had been holding onto him and it made his smile widen. All his feelings for her rushed back, but now they weren't just superficial like before. He couldn't help but laugh a little bit as the song played. "Will you please tell me what happened?" he whispered in her ear.

Conall smiled.
-"God no. It's probably just some blond bimbo trying to catch a date with me for the millionth time. That or some bookie trying to make me make a bet. I have a distinctive ringtone for things I really care about."
Conall heard the announcement and hung his head.
-"Oh joy. They want me to go to them... sorry, but, I have to take this one. Don't want to get in anymore trouble than I already am..."
Conall pecked Celia on the lips and grabbed his stuff.
-"I shall return!"
Conall ran down the stairs and walked through the halls. Thanks to the Carrots, half of the school already knew about Conall and Celia. Several people shook their head in pity for Celia, and a few were mad at Conall for 'trying to corrupt her'. One guy actually tried to attack him. Conall finally reached the office and took a seat.
-"Hey Kiyoshi. What's up?"

Time had seemed to stop for a few minutes with Kiyoko. Her mind was in a happy state, and she could feel the blood rush through her. What a day to be alive, and stuck in school! Perhaps she'd be just fine through this mess, and maybe Ceila wouldn't kill her. They seemed to get along when he wasn't flirting, so mabye she'd live after all....
She looked up as he laughed, and she realized a moment later why. "Haha, out of all songs." She couldn't help but grin; either it was a sign, or a reverse-psycology thing warning her. But, that'd be too complicated, the second one. She heard her whisper in her ear, and she nodded. She'd have to explain it AGAIN, for the billionth time now, but she'd probably get more of a reaction this time, since he was just flirting with Lucy not too long ago.
She led him back to the couches, and couldn't help but turn red with a bit of embarassment; she had forgotten Al was there. Whoops. Bah, no matter.
She then explained to Ray what had happened the day before: about crashing into Lily by accident, trying to apologize and help her, and Lucy grabbng the stuff from her and throwing Kiyoko's stuff across the hall. Lucy had gotten in trouble over it with Mr. K. That led to today, which resulted in an argument which caused Lucy to kick her. This resulted in her running to the bathroom, and Al trying to help her clean the mess out in the hall. The blood made him feel ill...
"And, now we're here, I suppose." she answered, then for some reason found the floor very interesting, and set her gaze upon it.
((bah, I'll make it short since you saw the last two posts about this.))
((Sorry, g2g. It's late, and my mom is complaning cause I've had a sore throat lately, and I need sleep. I'll be back sometime tomorrow.
I'll make Mr. K's post tomorrow.))

Celia sighed as she realized that they called him down to the office. She gave him a small half-hearted smile and watched him leave. She slid down the wall and closed her eyes for a minute. She didn't want him to go. She was unaware of the other people saying things about them since she had remained upstairs. But then she was flooded with texts. Her eyes widened when she read some of them. She simply shut off her phone. What was she going to do?
Ray was smiling happily. He had enjoyed their moment together. He sat down next to her. He had the urge to wrap his arm around her, but he didn't want to scare her off. She'd just think he was flirting with her again. He listened to her story carefully. His eyes widened. She always knew that Lucy was cruel, but he never knew that she was /that/ cruel. She was definitally on a list of his and it wasn't a good one anymore. "She's a bitchy slut..." he murmured.
He wrapped his arm around her shoulders, rubbing them comfortingly. "I'm sorry she did that to you. I'm sorry I couldn't be there to stop her." he added softly. He lifted her chin gently. "I won't let anyone hurt you again." he said, his thumb gently rubbing against her cheek. He wanted to kiss it, but he held himself back. He then looked over at Al. "You feeling any better?" he asked.

Kiyoko looked up a moment later, for she wanted to see his reaction; it was semi-killing her. Ray was now sitting next to her, and as he let it sink in, she saw his eyes widen a bit, and heard him murmur under his breath. Catching one of the words, she knew that he didn't take this too well, especially after having flirt with Lucy eariler. He probably felt guilty about that now, something she didn't want him to feel.
She could feel him rubbing her shoulders, apologizing for something of his own lacking. It wouldn't have made a difference though; they would have waited for her to be alone, then get their revenge. It would have only been a delay. And it wasn't his fault; she just lacked upper strength. At least she was getting those martial arts lessons soon...
"It's nothing." she said quickly. "I shouldn't have let her impressions get to me; I gave her the exact reaction she wanted." she reasoned, as she took a sip of the water. It was nice and cool. She looked to see that Al had yet to drink his. She opened his for him and handed it to him. "You'll feel better if you drink something." she pointed out kindly.
Mr. Kiyoshi saw that Conall had actually arrived. This half-surprised him, for part of him thought he would sneak out of it. "Ah, there you are!" he said, keeping it quite plesant not giving away the angry emotions; they didn't even know if he was guilty yet, so why put on the harsh treatment yet? He paced the room as Conall got closer to them.
As Conall took a seat, Mr. K. knew immediately that something was up; he reeked of alcohol smell, the one similar to Ms. R's clothes eariler, as well as a few of the sleeping teachers. He sighed as he pulled up a chair next to him, but not too close as to invade a personal bubble. "Ah, Conall, why do you smell of alcohol? I thought you promised me at the last meeting that you'd lay off it for awhile." he questioned casually.

"Eh... what now?", Renji sighed as he slumped in the hallway of the school. It was raining hard outside and not being able to leave the school didn't help. Not that he had anywhere to go anyway. Meow. A cat had followed him to school in the morning and was still a little wet from the rain -- Unluckily, Renji entered the school just as the lockdown notice was announced in the morning. Had he known this was going to happen, he would have stayed home.
The cat began purring in his hands while Renji sat in a hallway alone. He had just transferred into the school and he had no put any effort into his social endeavors. Basically, he was a social outcast. Although he wasn't an outcast by social status, or dis-figuration, he just didn't find the need to socialize with his classmates. Perhaps it was from his parental upbringing that made him so picky about who he would talk to, perhaps not. While contemplating the situation, he was petting the cat a bit roughly, unaware of what would happen next.
"Oww."
Renji's hand recoiled in pain, and the sharp fangs of said cat had dug into his skin. The cat leaped from Renji's grasp and began running down the hallway. Reluctantly, Renji decided not run after the cat, he would be in trouble if he was found with a cat on school grounds. "Sigh... now what?"

Al seemed to follow quietly after the two and sat on the couch in the art room. He let the two talk before he finally calmed down. "Guh. Blood. It's ....." Smiling he stood up. "Is the cut still hurting Kiyoko?" While Al was still deathly pale, he seemed to care more about the well fare of others first.

Ms. Espinosa tried to hold herself back from smacking Conall upside the head. She really, really, really hated being drunk. "It smells a little bit like ... Brandy, doesn't Mr. Kiyoshi?" She surprisingly had a civil voice.

Ray nodded, "I'm just glad that you're okay..." he said softly. He did feel guilty for flirting with Lucy. He always knew that she was a b***h, but he didn't think she'd do something like that. He felt more of a joke knowing that he flirted with her. He let out a sigh and didn't know what else to say. She kept insisting that she was fine and he had nothing to apologize for. But he didn't feel like that. He continued to rub her shoulder gently. It was nice and quiet up here. "Do you need anything?" he asked. He looked around the room. It was nice and quiet and Ray liked it. He loved big crowds and stuff, but it was nice to have a quiet sit down. He was more relaxed at times like this.

((Gah. Just to warn you all, once school starts again tomorrow, I'll be pretty busy. I know I can't get on Wednesday, but I'll try to post no later than Friday night if I can.
Presentations+exams in a couple weeks= sad ))
Kiyoko smiled as Al seemed to finally snap out of his queezey-ness, although he still looked pale and weakish. "I'm fine, really." she answered to both of them, then turned to Al. "I'm more worried about you; you look like a ghost!" she said, digging through her bag and taking out makeup. She opened it and showed the mirror in his direction for a moment. She then sat it down, and picked up the water again.
"Now please drink; you need something in your stomach, even if it's just liquid." she reasoned with him. But she was prepared to force-feed.......er, drink......him back to health.
"Exactly, Ms. Espinosa." said Mr. Kiyoshi, as he stood up and began to pace around both Conall and the empty chair he had occupied moments ago. "It does smell like Brandy.....which we all know is illegial on school grounds, and for those below a certain age." he said. "Which makes me wonder why Conall smells exactly like it."

Celia was getting lonely and a bit worried. She knew that she should probably wait for him, but she didn't know how long he was going to be. She was also worried that someone might come up to find her, but she doubted that. She walked to the second floor and heard the chatting of Kiyoko and Ray. She walked into the art room. "Hey, guys..." she said softly. She noticed the look in Al's face and the fresh cut on Kiyoko...also that Ray's arm was around her. She raised an eyebrow and took a seat next to Al. "What's going on?" she asked curiously. "I'd ask, but I think you guys are pretty much talked out..." she laughed slightly. "You guys okay though?" she had to ask.
Ray looked as Celia came in. He didn't get to say anything because she came in. "Where've you been?" he asked curiously. He hadn't seen her for awhile. Well since he left with Star, which he still regretted. He hadn't heard anything about her and Conall, though.
Celia shrugged, "Nothing...." she said. She didn't want to tell him because she knew he'd freak out. He'd find out and eventually and she knew she should tell him, but she couldn't. She was worried about Conall.
