Konnichi wa minnasan! ♥ So glad to be in this guild. I'm Mizi-chan (or Ichigo or Eri). Ever since the 4th grade, I've wanted to learn Japanese and its culture. My dad used to work for Sony, which is Japanese, so after I started getting really into learning it, he gave me 2 sets of books and tapes so I could learn it better. And it didn't really work out... I do know some basic Japanese, though. Most of the names for fruits (courtesy of Tokyo Mew Mew!) and some simple phrases, if I have my book. I've been watching Tokyo Mew Mew on YouTube recently, and have been picking up and sticking to simple things like "Thanks" "Sorry" "Everyone" etc. I hope that through Gaia and tons of other oppertunities in my future can get me to learn Japanese! Arigato! ~Mizi/Mizi-chan ♥

Ohayo Gozaimazu (its morning so its appropriate for that)I'm glad to have join this guild.
My name's Teru Noka but my real name is Stephanie.I was around 9 years old that I remember buying a Sailor Moon thinking at that time it was in english but once i put the cassette in the vcr they start talking in some other language i didn't know (me thinking it was chinese sweatdrop )After that,that language never came across from me again until last year I began to watch an anime in 4kids tv (Mew Mew Power) it was great so it got me into anime.Then I figured out that they have a japenese version of Mew Mew Power which was Tokyo Mew Mew so i began watching that.Later on that year I watched a music video and the person was singing in japanese (Utada Hikaru-Passion) this got me thinking saying to myself hey its not that bad why not learn yeah!And thats where it all kinda began.I speak very little i know all the basics like "O genki desu ka?" "Arigatou" "Sumimasen" and some other words hopefully I will be capable of speaking Japanese fluently whee

Hi Everyone! I'm Bow-, and I am in my second year of studying Japanese. However, I'm not in a class, but learning with a tutor, so I have no one to practice with. I hope to get lost of practice here, and learn a lot as well. And, Happy New Year~ Kotoshi mo yoroshiku onegai simasu!

hi, my name is Emi. I spend my time between UK and Japan, because my boyfriend lives in Japan. Right now I'm in Japan, I'll go home in a month, then come back in the summer for maybe 2 years...depending on visa D;
I'm mostly wearing himegal fashion, sometimes casual oneegal, sometimes sweet/classic lolita. I definitely go for more girly fashion, don't really like dark depressing fashion lol. Dark colours are ok if it's done stylishly, but I'd hate to look gothic.
I've been studying japanese for nearly 3 years, last 2 in a proper class. I guess I'm ok at it, but well I live with 2 guys that speak english fluently and one other that speaks english very well, so I can manage fine at home without great japanese. But I do need to improve as I need to *try* to get a job here when I come back later this year. I'd like to work at shibuya 109 *lol* it's a gal shopping centre, there's always 'staff needed' signs up, but my japanese isn't good enough >_<

I'd like to introduce myself. I'm Kita Cloud. You can call me "Kit" for short. Or Kitsune, I don't really mind that either. Please be kind to me. If not you may possibly feel the mighty wrath of the ever powerful and ever present Freakezette because we go so very far back in our years together. Lots of memorable moments, us two. *bows* Thank you for your time!

Kombanwa! *bows* watashi wa Chieri desu. Chuugakkou ichinensei desu. 'class' toshite wa 'Wisdom' desu. sweatdrop (Good evening! I'm Cherry. I'm in the first year of highschool, in the class of wisdom)[wisdom is the name of my section in first year]
Anyway, I'm Cherry (Chieri) and.... Nihongo wa amari hanasemasen. And also, Nihongo wa hontondo hanasemasen. (I speak Japanese very badly. I understand little Japanese.)
I joined this guild because, like most of the people here, I am very intereseted in Japan, it's language, and culture. This interest was brought by my fondness of anime and manga.
I'm not really good at speaking Japanese, and I'm a girl of few Japanese words. I only know most of the basic things, and usually I'd speak Japanese by the book. ^_^ But I'm not giving up. I really want to learn.. whee And I'm taking lessons this Summer as well. I would usually have self-study on Japanese, and sometimes I'd go with my friends. My first books were from my mom, who used to work in a Japanese Residents Society here in Manila (Philippines) where we live. She went to Japan in the past, and she gave her the yukata she used to wear ^_^
Oh yeah, I'm thirteen, and in high school. My hobbies are watching TV, reading, chatting, and writing (fanfiction). ^_^
Honto ni arigatou gozaimasu! *for having me here!*

Hello (or Good-day), everyone. My name is Caitlin. I am 14. I'm a student. Reading, snowboarding, and soccer (or football) are my hobbies. (Learning) Japanese, Spanish, French, Italian, and other languages are also hobbies.
I've been learning Japanese for over a year and a half- or around that long... Um, that's about it for me! 3nodding

Yo, I'm Death, and I'm not much of a person. I'm the average teen, I guess; I enjoy a good book, good music, drawing and art is a major hobby as is horses, I enjoy reading good manga, and I especially like learning. My major goal in life is to learn the Japanese language, partly to understand my mom's family and her friends. Not a drop of Asian blood in me, but my mom grew up in Japan, and staying in Hokkaido for a month only makes me want to master it even more. What I would ideally do with this knowledge is become a translator or interpretor. But I'm far from any of that. I need to finish school before counting my chickens, so to speak.
Anyway, thank you for accepting me. I will try to take advantage of what is available here, and perhaps give what little I know, which has all the usefullness of sun glasses on a statue.
