I don't see Kakashi as someone who would simply sacrifice himself, or rather, jump into a situation where he knows he'll be killed. He's more likely to try to deflect some omnipotent technique with his own omnipotent technique, then screw up and die a slow, emotional death like Asuma.
And Sasuke feel compasion for Kakashi's death? Last Sasuke and Naruto met, he was ready to kill Naruto just to prove he had severed all ties with leaf. I'm more expected Sasuke to use some suicide jutsu to take both him and Itachi out. He's not gonna become a villain since ever since he killed Orochimaru he's spared the life and freed everyone he's come across, so there's really nothing left for him after Itachi dies.

I don't believe he truly has cut all bonds off from the team, I think his sparing naruto on a whim the second time is pure and utter bullshit that hes spitting out in an attempt to get naruto to leave him the hell alone and let him do his own thing when deep down inside he still cares about all 3 of them as a family.
And you're right...kakashi isn't the type who would simply sacrifice himself...unless there was no other way to avoid it...he wouldn't simply sit back and allow the team to die knowing he could do something about it...im not saying he would suicide purposely, but as i said before...hes getting old...hes not what he used to be...and hes fighting some of the strongest ninjas in naruto, there is a chance he would screw up trying to stop the people from killing someone else and end up dieing himself.

Aside from Orochimaru, Sasuke hasn't actually killed anyone. Hell, he didn't even kill Deidara, cuz he went 'splodey.

I don't think he would have really killed Naruto. If he had wanted to at that point, he had plenty of time, but I doubt he cares enough about anyone to go back to Leaf or return to any kind of normal life. He was ready to zap the whole team with one of his bastardized chidori techniques, or whatever jutsu Orochimaru stopped him from using. He might have just wanted to make Naruto give up on him, but what little personality he had at the start of the series is gone.

Yes...every now and again he'd act arrogant...but for the most part hes always been the dull and boring kid who ends up looking like the groups badass

A slighht change of subject. Was anyone else disappointed by the last chapter? Mainly, the fact that we waited two weeks just to see Naruto overpowered by a shadow clone...

Ya, it was disappointing.
Then agian, I'm disappointed in most of the chapters.
I also have a strong suspicion that the Itachi that Sasuke sees is either in a dream, or it's another Shadow clone.
