Not quite true. Orochimaru has been beaten before. Jiraiya is stronger than Itachi, but does that mean that Jaraiya owns him, NO!!! So there you are mistaken. The Fourth Hokage was not taken out, he sacrificed his life, that does not mean he could not be killed, see.

The way I see it...it's all about the strategy you use...I'm in a Death NOte mood, so I'm going on about strategy, rather than strength. However, that is what makes a battle: how you use oportunities and whatever else you have. Say, if Kow and I were locked in an epic duel, I would play the One Peice theme on Max and make him surrender. He would probably throw a cat at me and speak in this voice he has that makes me want to kill myself...
In short, it's more about how you use it than what you have.

Strategy is what is all about, but do remember that the reason for battle has a lot to do, for if you fight for yourself, then the way you way is different to that of someone that fights to save or protect others. Then the strategy changes. Techniques are only as good as the person using them. It does not matter how powerfull the technique really is if you can't pull it off.
