((Our initial post is short, yes, but I'm not introducing any characters in this post. It's just something for everyone to go off of for the beginning.))
It was a sunny day. It may have seemed gloomy everywhere else, but it was unusually bright in Guren. At the House of Bricks School of Weaponry, students and teachers alike were creating and receiving their schedules and dorm rooms for the first term of the year.

Sighing Akakage came into the office of the school, "I have to start teaching again, I miss the break already." Looking around he found he was the first one there. "Damn it, now I have to wait. Where is everyone? I just want to get my duties and leave. I could be sleeping right now. Right Teme?"
Teme replied, "I can't believe a lazy a** like you beat me, its unheard of. A thousand year old demon beaten by one of the laziest people I know."
"How many times do you have to repeat yourself you broken record?" replied the irritated teacher.
"For as long as I'm your pet you lazy a**." answered the fox.
"Anyways why am I so early...oh wait I remember now, it was Ms. Estreyus who told me to come at this time. I thought she was the punctual type?" Asking himself that aloud as he sat at a near by chair and started to doze off.

Varnis had walked into the school, with his red samurai Armor glistening, and his Katana on his waist, and his Wryvine sitting on his shoulder. He had walked into the building thinking This will be another fun year. Looking towards the room that Akakage was in, he walked into the room.
"Hello? Anyone here?" Varnis looked around some, with his hand on his Katana, not trusting the people there/

Dorothy stepped up to the school stairs, she had her bow on her back and her bag of books in her arms. She couldn't wait to start. She had worked so hard and now her time had finally come. As she walked up the stairs she could tell that she was going to learn alot already. She opened the front door and walked inside. No one seemed to be around, "Hello?" she whispered into the silence. Did I come too early? she thought to herself. She walked a bit farther into the school, Maybe someone is in the office. She nodded to herself and walked forward to find the office.

A white-braided woman was walking along the streets of the city, holding a tall white staff in her right hand with a crescent blade mounted on it. The bottom of her long cloak swayed with each step she took as her lavender eyes grazed over her surroundings. Eventually, her feet stopped at a large pathway, looking up at the large building in front of her. The House of Bricks. So aptly named was the large stone structure. The building she had called home for several years when not out on travel. She glanced across the familiar structure of the school. It had not changed in the least. She wondered what kind of students would be attending this year. There were few who could make the tuition, and the last few years saw a sparse attendance by her estimation. She was certain it would be no different this year either. As she took a step forth toward the school... "siiiiIIIIIIIIILVEEER!!" She turned sharply as the cry increased in volume, it's owner zooming toward her. The scruffy white thing screeched to a halt midair right in front of her, panting. Silver rose a brow. "Nice of you to join me", she said in a nonchalant manner. She was recieved by a canine look of aggrivation just then. "What's the big idea!! You just left me back there! How could you!" Silver's expression remained unchanged. "I didn't leave you behind, Korichiko. I thought you were behind me." "Yeah, well I wasn't!" "And what caught your attention this time? Last time you went off chasing some stray cat." "Hey, that little bugger bit me...and don't you go changing the subject!" "Why are you so upset, Korichiko? You know why we came back to Guren, so you knew exactly where to find me." The little wolf opened his mouth to reply, but found himself speechless. He then leaned back in the air, turning his head to the side in a defiant manner. "Yeah, well... You could at least act more worried about me, ya know." Silver smiled. "I know you can take care of yourself. That's why I wasn't worried." She then turned back towards the school. "Come now. We don't want to be late." She headed into the school then, Korichiko floating close behind, grumbling lowly.
((There's my first post. I won't be on again to post until later though. Going to see the Harry Potter movie. Later.))

Horatus marched down the hall. That was the only way he went anywhere unless he had to be extra selthy about it. "The students this year shure as hell better be an improvement from what I delt with last year," Horatus thought entering the main office seeing two people there already. "This is what I like to see, people early on the first day. That's a good way to start the year."

Garreth Gamelas stepped into the office. He raised a brow at the sleeping teacher in the corner, and was somewhat relieved to see that one or two students had shown up early as well. He spotted Horatus immediately, and stepped over toward him, holding up a paper. "Horatus, Mr. Stockhold will be joining us a little late. He seems to be stuck somewhere at the moment and unable to reveal his location." he said. "Also, we will begin orientation in the next thirty minutes. Does that sound alright?"
Namen Mali, another student, a rather tall and tanned girl, entered the room. She held out her rapier, sheathed, toward the floor, checking for obstacles. She heard voice, so she must've been in the correct room. She smiled to herself as she reattached her rapier to her hip.

Looking at the boy that entered who was wearing traditional samurai wear, he decided to just ignore him. He acknowledge that the boy had untapped skills but he wasn't going to go out of the way to tell the student that.
No what he usually does to any new students was wait until they hear of the reputation he holds then they'll persistently pester him until he would actually teach them. It was his teaching strategy for every year he was in this school much to the disapproval of his peers. They couldn't do anything anyway because any student he taught graduated with flying colors so they just let him be.
Without getting up he tested the boys reflexes. He teleported briefly behind the boy and threw a shuriken faster than an eye can see then quickly teleported back without any indications of movement.

There was no change in expression as Luna passed the woman arguing with a dog on the front steps of the building in order to enter her new school. It hadn't taken long to accomplish enough high priced jobs to be able to afford the tuition for this year and next year would be the same, people always had grudges they wanted settled in the neatest way possible. Not to say Luna was still an assasign but she knew how to do away with smaller problems without the slightest trace of what had been done. The halls of the school seemed desolate in the silence that Luna's walking did nothing to impeede with her large black wings folded behind her back in an orderly manner. Nothing about Luna was out of place, not from the feathers in her wings to the hair that cascaded down her back. Her favorite weapons were stored in a special belt she had made for herself two years ago in order to make any work she was hired for a little easier to accomplish. Anyone who knew Luna at all wondered why she was attending a school for weapons training, thinking she was the best she could be already, but they were mistaken as there was always room for improvement. Her main hope was to find one teacher with exseptional talent who would take her for special training once in a while so she could become the best in a short amount of time.

"Just like Mr. Stockhold to be late for some unexplainable reason," Horatus growled. "I don't understand why we give the students and teachers so much time to show up after the opening of the school each year. You know my oppinion is to begin orientation the second the doors are unlocked and if someone is late that is their own fault and they will have to learn how to catch up to the group, but no one seems to want to listen to my ideas." Horatus glared at Akakage, the pompus brat who thought he was so much better than everyone else. "This will be the year a bust that one down a couple pegs, it'll do him good," Horatus thought continuing to look about the room as people arrived. "So few students, how can we run a school with so few studends? Others might yet arrive but who wants to deal with someone who can't show up on time the first day they are expected. Pittiful."

As the shurikan came flying towards him, Raiden jumped off Varnis' shoulders. At that moment, Varnis knew to duck.
As he duck the Shurikan flew right over his head, and right into the wall. Varnis just looked at the shurikan for a moment, then just ignored it. "Not even 10 minutes here, and I am already getting shurikans thrown at me..."
Varnis had looked at Akakage for a moment, he knew he threw it at him. He just gave him an evil glare for a moment.
Raiden flew back down onto his shoulder, and Varnis petted him, for warning him about the shurikan.

"Yes, well, we're doing what we can, aren't we, Horatus? Some of these students are traveling from as far as Daidre or Serbin. As for Mr. Stockhold... I promise this is the last year any teacher will get away with arriving late, but we're so understaffed this year that I have to teach a class." Garreth glanced over the papers he held. "We have a blind one this year. I wonder how useful she'll be? As soon as Karaviv arrives we should be able to determine how useful any of these students will be... Though their tardiness will be a burden, I'm hoping more students will show up by the end of first term."

Following the sound of voices Luna entered an office after another female student, but instead of stopping just inside the door as this girl did Luna continued into the room basically unnoticed by the others. As far as she could tell the two talking seemed to be in charge both of them fully grown men with an air of importance, intelligence, and ruthlessness around them. While most people might have been intimidated by these men Luna didn't even bat an eye in their concern as she had delt with worse while training to be one of hell's assassins. "People don't know what scary is anymore," Luna thought looking around the room at the others who seemed to be almost cowering from these two men, except another man she assumed was a teacher. There was something different about the girl Luna had entered after, but what it was seemed to be just beyond her grasp at the moment which made her all the more determinded to figure out what it was.

Feeling someone was glaring at him he opened one eye to see Horatus. "That man again, always glaring at me. I guess it can't be helped, not everyone will like me. That guy just hates me though... I'll just have to make sure I keep under the radar from that man. That young samurai has good skills but he needed his pet to warn him. Looks like he hates me already. Perfect choice of a new trainee, well if he pesters me anyway."
Ignoring the glaring student he tested earlier. Getting up from his spot he walked to where the staff heads are and leaned against the wall. "Can I just get my duties so I can get out of here already. I don't like how this room feels." Glancing at Horatus for a brief moment. He then saw a girl enter the room, she was a strange one and he can already feel she was used to these type people.
