"I believe these tracks are our.....own.." She paused as she heard something crashing though the trees then a far too familiar voice. Seems he still came running at the sound of any sort of female in distress. Why she could never understand as he always treated them the same and they always ended up with the same opinion of him.
She turned around and eyed the white horned stallion that was standing near them. "The only trouble i see here is right in front of me." She grinned as she looked at him. Same old stallion though he had picked up a few new adornments since she'd last seen him.

"Odd. I could have said the same thing." He smirked, giving his head a light toss before taking a step towards the two mares; both smaller than him but one considerably smaller than the other. "What, pray tell, brings you into this neck of the woods?"
"I did!" She smiled brightly as she stepped up between the two, peering up at the giant for a moment before turning over her shoulder to look at the mare. "I told you that I would lead you in the right direction, didn't I?"

"Aye .. you did." She leaned down and nosed the Usdia. "And i thank you for it at the moment." She would given a few more minuets probably be cursing finding him again but she had said that's what she wanted. Even if the little one hadn't done it all that well.
"Lack of anything else to do an curiosity." She tossed her head as she straightened back up. "I had hope that a few months somewhere else might have done you some good. It seems that is not the case."

He snorted softly as he straightened himself out for inspection, holding his head high just as he would have had they still been where they had come from. His coat glistened in the light that filtered down through the leaves, mane seeming to shimmer as a light breeze tugged at the golden strands. All things considered, he believed that the fresh air and change of scenery had done him a world of good.
After a moment his brow lofted as he glanced down at the darker of the two females. "... A few months in the company of Lady Luck can do no good for anyone, stallion or otherwise. Don't tell me you missed me, Alysida."
She nosed the other mare's leg in return before gawking in awe at the large stallion. After a moment she stepped up beside him, attempting to mimic his proud pose. Perhaps she could learn a thing or two from him... Or even just the mare.

"Ah ... so that is where the Lady wandered off to." She had been curious when the other mare had vanished from the lands. "If it were anyone but her i would question why they followed you."
His glow did nothing for her. She was used to such displays and had long since given up believing they had any meaning worth mentioning. "Why in Lords name would i have missed you?" She snorted at the notion that her life had been anything but pleasant without him around.
"I feared for what you would be doing without someone to keep an eye on you. Lord knows how many mares you have ruined since we parted"

"About as many as you have with your foolish notions and silly ideas." He snorted softly, giving his head another light toss. "You always assume the worst, Alysida. I am always a gentleman when in the presence of a true lady..." It just so happened that he ran into oh so very few 'true ladies'.
"Your life must have been terribly dull without me around. Who kept you in line?"
She watched the interaction between the two of them with a good bit of curiosity, tail flickering against her hindquarters from time to time. "A gentleman? Why, that's wonderful! There are so few gentlemen in the world today! There should be more of them." She nodded as she stomped her hoof on the ground adamantly before falling back into silence, seeming almost sheepish for having interrupted their conversation.

She looked down at the Usdia and laughed softly. "He is no gentleman Chalcedony. Any true one would know better than to act the way he does." Her gaze turned back to the horned stallion. "I have never seen you to act as a gentleman. Always treating mares as if they are something that should worship the ground you walk on."
She snorted and grinned at him. "Kept me in line? I am afraid unlike you i can keep myself in line."

Her brow furrowed slightly as she glanced up between the mare and the stallion once more. So far she hadn't heard the stallion say anything out of line. Of course, at the mention of her name she realized that she had done something out of line.
"Oh!" She took several steps away from the stallion, bowing her head just as she had to the mare. "Forgive me, Sir! My name is Chalcedony."
His own brow lofted in amusement as he watched the tiny white mare move as quickly as she did. Just to prove Alysida wrong he lowered his head in a sweeping bow, showing that he could very well be a gentleman when he wished to be so. "It is, most certainly, my pleasure, Chalcedony. You may call me Telikos."
After flashing the little one a broad grin as he straightened himself out he turned back towards the darker mare. "You are never around at the right time, Alysida. Perhaps you should follow me around more often. You might be suprised."

"I wandered with you long enough to know tricks from truth." She laughed and tossed her head as she looked between the bowing stallion and the little mare. She hated to admit it but she had missed the verbal sparing since Telikos had left her company. Life just wasn't any fun when everyone already knew to stay out of her way.

"Tricks? Tricks?" He snorted once more as he shook his head, turning his gaze down to the petite mare, brow lofting slightly. "Do you hear that, Chalcedony? She accuses me of trickery. How on earth can I perform tricks if I am not a magician?"
... He had a point there. A good point. Her brow furrowed slightly as she pondered that for a moment, loosing herself in her own thoughts and ignoring their conversation for the moment.
He stepped around the Usdia after a moment, eyeing the dark mare before a smirk curved his lips. "... Is that a threat or a promise, Alysida?"

She just barely managed not to roll her eyes at the magician comment. Telikos was full of tricks which is how he could get away with half of what he did. She knew his tricks backwards and forwards. At least all but whatever he might have learned here.
As he stepped around their little friend she raised a brow. "Perhaps it is both. Depending on your own actions that is."

He let his eyes linger on the dark mare for a moment as if formulating some sort of plan before turning his head so that he could glance down at the usdia. "So tell me, Chalcedony... Do you like apples? There is a grove of trees not far from here with the most delicious apples the world has ever known. If you would allow me to lead the way I would be only too happy to pluck one down from the higher branches for you."
She had to think on that one for a good, long moment before turning to cast a sheepish look up at the other mare. She did like apples and, with her height, she was always nosing through the ones on the ground to see if any were still good. Eventually she looked back up at Telikos. "Only if Alysida agrees to join us as well. Finding you was her quest, afterall."

She almost snorted at the idea of going anywhere with the two of them to find anything. Yes she had wanted to see Telikos and she had. He was still the same as he'd been before so really what use did she have following them?
"Unless those apples are of the tart variety i must decline the offer." She'd never gotten a taste for the bright red ones though green she liked.

"I am certain we can find something to suit your tastes, Alysida." He smirked as he turned towards the forest, taking a few steps before pausing to make certain that he was being followed by both mares. "Afterall, you'll never know what you may have missed unless you come along, correct?"
