Cirosan Holland_sof About two weeks ago, back in Post Falls Idaho, I was beaten to a bloody mess for saying I was Atheist. I was only asked the question of what religion I was, and I did not say anything to make him (my attacker) mad. Has anyone else had an experience like this? ...That's... That is, for lack of a better term, ******** awful. I have not been beaten up for being an Atheist, but I wish I had been instead of you. I would not wish that discrimination upon anyone else. Second.

I second the others' cries for pressing charges. That would be the best way of slapping the offender across the face with the long arm of retribution.

I've been beaten because of my religion. The jackass almost pushed me down the stairs and killed me. Why are we so nice about that kind of thing? Tolerating it does nothing for us. I think we can show some anger and hate because that's all christians seem to understand. They ignore logic so why can't we just insult them? And I mean to their face. None of this making fun of them in the forums crap. Scream at them. I've tried and it works better than being calm and telling them about how impossible the idea of God is.

Arios V Yes, many times. sometimes I've been hit with a weapon such as a bat or a 2x4. I find it kinda weird, that they preach love and tolerance of their fellow man and tell everyone "God loves you" and yet when they're beating another person's a** they scream "God hates you, jackass!" or "Go to Hell, Satan Spawn!" love god.....but i hate most of his fanclubs

I've dealt with a few people attempting to send the love of Jesus through their fists at my head. It didn't turn out so well for them. They fold REAL easily.

Seriously though, my point is that it shouldn't be a wonder to a lot of people why some atheists seem to have it in for Christianity in particular.
