Diadema If that doesn't expose the argument, I don't know what does. That was my thinking. 3nodding

Well, technically, a living thing has
1. movement
2. metabolism
3. growth and development
4. response
5. reproduction
Obviously, fetuses move. Not too sure on the metabolism. IF they didn't grow, this wouldn't be an issue. If they didn't respond to stimuli, this still wouldn't be an issue. So if reproduction is the last thing to hang on to, children and people with things like Turner's syndrome are obviously not alive.
Well now the population problem isn't so bad. We can kill all the non-babymakers. Which is kinda ironic since prolife is the one that's supposedly looking down on non-babymakers.

It's basically all the same things except for metabolism, of course metabolism is needed for growth and development so it wouldn't make sense for something to grow and develop and not metabolise anything. xd
It's how fast some substances are broken down to yeild energy for the different processes in the body. If cells didn't metabolise they wouldn't have any energy to do anything and they would die. So that one is kinda a given.

Just as a side note, I pretty much call myself Pro-life, now. I mean, enough choicers b***h to me so that I can be called that, hm?
Just kidding. Well, actually, me and Toxic seem to have this habit of any little conversation we have ends up about Abortion, Abortion issues on Gaia, and Gaian pro-choicers and lifers. It's like, our niche. People seem to expect it. Our friend Erica almost keeled over in shock when we were actually talking about something different. Namely the hot look Toxic had on the first day of school. Not that her beauty doesn't show every day, but strangely, it seems like no one noticed it until the first day back to school after Christmas.
Eep. I'm rambling. But seriously, some people just know that that is *Our* topic. We debate it at lunch, in the halls before class, and so forth. I actually remember being late because I was very enthralled in a morning after pill conversation. Damn you, Miranda. You just make it so that I don't want to NOT debate with you. I think that's the right double negative.

I would say that I am pro-life. For me, I cant imagine killing someone, especially not my child, I really just am unable to think of it, or a situation where I could abort, but thats just me, it may of course be different for other people. For me, when I first even heard about abortion, I had this terrible feeling, I was really upset by it and it's something that I just cannot concieve of personally. For me, I dont believe that it is my choice to kill the child, I consider it wrong, but again, just my opinion. Im probably considered a very very pro-life person I guess. To me, it's not my choice, and to me, its wrong. I'm also the type who when I believe in something I strongly believe in it, and stick to it you know? lol Kinda stubborn I guess, but I hold onto my beliefs and what I feel in my heart, and for me abortion just doesnt fit, Im just against it. That's just my little five cents. PS: hi to everyone- im sorta a newb here whee

I think a lot of people are like that. I definitely couldn't even logically understand it; the thought of it being legal was so horrifying. I went to sleep over at my best friend's house, and said, "I can't believe people can do that." Turned out she was prochoice. Wonderful way for life to smack me in the face. 10 years old and so naive.

... I don't have a strong religious background that makes me pro-life. I don't hate non babymakers. I'm not trying to make people just continue reproducing without considering population or the future of humankind. I agree with contraceptives. I think the only thing that sets me apart from a pro-choicer is that I think it's wrong to kill your unborn child. That's all it really comes down to isn't it?
