Cougar Draven Children never learn when they should, only a few years after they should... Or in other words, 'Youth is wasted on children.'

Whee! I'm back.
Here we go again.
Even if nothing that could possibly be considered beautiful existed, people would invent beauty anyway. We can't live without it. It'a an addiction.

Here''s one that only works for me.
My former best friend is a lying, cheating, cozening son of a b***h who''s not to be trusted.

Ideals you wish for are not so good in reality.
No one fully understand what the hell I'm saying. Nor do I completely understand what the hell they're saying either.

You have to stay focused on your goals and interests, otherwise you will get sidetracked and wander into mediocrity.
You should never be regretful of how your time was spent. Do what you think is right and what you can be proud of and you will not only progress in life but enjoy life much more.
On that same note, I am weaning myself off of Gaia online and will really only access the guilds where I feel coversations are usually productive.

When you look back on your life, don't be surprised if someone told you what would happen to you earlier in life. It isn't ESP. It's experience.

Cougar Draven When you look back on your life, don't be surprised if someone told you what would happen to you earlier in life. It isn't ESP. It's experience. That's a good one! And soooo true. Hell, when I was younger I never completely listened, cared or believed in some of the things that were told to me. Some were wrong of course, but some were COMPLETELY true! It's just a matter of figuring out what is bullshit and what is not. When I was in high school my cousin who was 10 years older than I, told me... "You might hate being a teenager now, but enjoy it while you can! You only get one childhood & one chance to be free of all responsibilities." So true. How I miss the days when I had nothing to do but sit around and read or wander around through the woods. Or just having the daily interactions at school and so many friends. Once you're out of school and you move away... you don't have any of those luxuries unless you FORCE yourself to do them. Oh yeah, today's revelation... Everybody needs my help, but nobody will help me. stressed Many of the best ideas on Gaia go un-noticed or are sabotaged by assholes.

Just because someone doesn't know your language doesn't mean you shouldn't listen to them.

ochimaru That's a good one! And soooo true. Hell, when I was younger I never completely listened, cared or believed in some of the things that were told to me. Some were wrong of course, but some were COMPLETELY true! It's just a matter of figuring out what is and what is not. I got my wakeup call at the age of 18...I've had to grow the hell up, and fast. So, today's revelation: I can stand alone, and walk alone, and stay strong and true to myself while doing so. I just don't have to. And for that I am thankful.

Today's revelation was brought to you by the letter "tsu" and the number "I"
When I was a teen I decided to be "the rebel" and that I would never grow up and confrorm to society. Yet, as I grow older, I find my own needs and goals align with what society expects... such as keeping a steady job, trying to impress superiors for a better job and ignoring my hobbies to be with my family. What the hell? But I will always be a kid at heart with my love of toys and obnoxious music.
Our society is being divided by the internet & the onset of the Information Age. There is a large populace of uneducated people from immigrants to all-american traditionalists that live by their base carnal desires and do not wish to seek out more information or find better ways of doing things. Many of these people are still quite ignorant of the internet and it's million uses, let alone grasping the power of new technologies such as the mp3 player, digital camera & cellphone. I fear this will only snowball as dumb begets dumber. The impoverished not providing any access to a computer nor encouraging the quest for new ideas & new ways... while the technological will always move ahead. It's not even an age thing, as there are people from 50-90 that use the internet & comprehend it's power.
In summary, the Information Age will bring the class war to a head in a whole new way. Those who are in the know and those who don't care.

*Reviving this thread*... ahem, anyways, on to my revelation. And I just noticed someone had it before I did. Bummer. Maze Live. It's what life's here for. So, allow me to ellaborate that a bit more, at least on my part. Don't waste your life on dull ideals. On the whole, the world is a shitty place, and it'll remain that way, no matter what you do. Things can look a lot nicer when you stop worrying about world hunger and start minding your own damn bussiness. Nothing's gonna change, no matter what you do. So what can you do? Just live. That's all life has to it.
