The Twilight Dreamer Tetsuya Saki The Twilight Dreamer I wish Gackt did the English version too. Fangirls would go nuts. Anyway, I like both of the outfits. Genesis looks great in either of them. His wing seems to have shrunk a bit from when he was featured in DoC's secret ending, but other than that, there really aren't that many changes between this version and the other. Also, doesn't DoC take place about 10 years after Crisis Core? The outfit change was probably meant to emphasis that fact. I think because the wing was so small was because Genesis was subjected to all of those experiments and that once he ages the wing grows larger. When I first saw the secret ending, I never though that the wing would be black and that it would be on Genesis's left side. In some ways, I believe that Genesis had a bit of a fallen angel quality because of the wing being black, and that Genesis was probably left-handed. It makes sense that he'd be left handed. The only problem with the wing growing theory is that from what I could tell in the secret ending, he was trapped in some sort of crystal. Possibly mako like Sephiroth was. And he could've been a prototype for various experiments like with Sephiroth, SOLDIER, Deepground, everything that had been required to enhance human capabilities with the use of mako. But what if he wasn't trapped inside of a crystal? What if he was hiding beneath the planet just to wait for some armageddon to happen?

I just learned some more info on Genesis. The real reason why Genesis fights Sephiroth is because Genesis' fame for being the finest SOLDIER was stolen by Sephiroth, so this is what springs the concept of Sephiroth's popularity and being the icon for SOLDIER.

The real reason why Genesis fights Sephiroth is because Genesis' fame for being the finest SOLDIER was stolen by Sephiroth, so this is what springs the concept of Sephiroth's popularity and being the icon for SOLDIER. Well that makes sense. 3nodding But it does kind of make an interesting point that Sephiroth is sent after Genesis if the reason that he left was because of Sephiroth.
