Hearing a flutter of wings, Kaoru looked to his side, as a large black bird landed on his shoulder with a note tied to its leg.
Taking the note, he read through it and smiled, it was about time he was sent on a mission and by the looks of it, this one would be interesting.
Taking out a pen from within his pockets, he wrote his answers and his preffered way of travelling and left the training grounds, giving the letter with his plan of completing the mission back to the large bird to be taken back to the main headquarters.
With his hands in his pockets and his giant zanbatou strapped across his back, he headed towards the one place where one could find info on just about anything, Konohagakure.

[Sorry for the shitty lame post, but Ive gotta sleep. Work tomorrow at 10am. ^^]
Kaoru appeared at the training grounds, waiting for his young pupil to appear.
He planned on working the sickly boy ragged, just to see how committed he was to the idea of becoming a Mist Swordsman.

[Zatoichi Yuudai] The Way of the BladeXx♠Training Grounds♠xX  Yuudai followed his new Sensei to the Training Grounds. Most would have been utterly terrified to have to face a member of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist, but Yuudai felt more excited than he ever did in his entire life. He may not have been able to beat Kaoru-sama, but he would most definitely give him a hard time before going down. Yuudai had amazing speed and coupled this with his knowledge of the Human Vital system and Sword play. This allowed him to strike in all Vital places before most could even blink. But he could expect no such easy victory from his new master, even if the blade that he used was massive in size, he was confident that he must've wielded it like it was a simple Katana.
Yuudai could see the excellent craftsmanship in that massive Zanbatou. Even if it was a reforge, it was distinctively his own. Yuudai couldn't wait for this fight to begin. Shall never falter, never fade.

Kaoru watched as the young boy walked up, measuring his step and the way he moved. He would probably be a fast one, just by looking as his body he could tell the young boy would probably be lacking in sheer power, so would more likely rely on the speed and size of the twin blades to overwhelm an opponent.
He decided on his method of battle, he would try to draw the kid out and force him to show all of his strength.
Placing a hand on his massive zanbatou, he withdrew the blade and held it over his shoulder as he waited for the boy to get ready.
"Alright whenever your ready Yuudai." Kaoru said as he stood there with one hand in his pocket.

[Zatoichi Yuudai] The Way of the BladeXx♠Training Grounds♠xX Yuudai nodded as his Master instructed him to begin when he was ready. Yuudai cracked his neck and wrapped his slender fingers around both of his blades, one in each hand. He grasped both blades firmly. His original blade was similar to a Jian, straight edged with the tip perfectly straight. His fathers blade was much more ornate. It had several inscriptions on it. Just having the blade drawn made him feel stronger. He looked over at Kaoru-sama and focused for a moment. Within the blink of an eye, he hovered over him. "Souryuu Sen Ikazuchi." He said softly as he brought his blades down upon Kaoru in rapid succession. He knew that if he wanted to have a chance he would have to keep on his toes.
Based on the fact that the sword he wielded was larger than the average person, he knew that Kaoru-sama had great strength. Yuudai lacked Strength almost completely and he wouldn't be able to block any of his attacks. His main tactic was going to be to try and overwhelm him with his speed. Shall never falter, never fade.

Kaoru watched as the boy dove at him from above, the move was simple and elegant. Kaoru decided he would start small with the boy and see how far he would have to progress to beat him into submission.
Jumping lightly backwards, he missed the swings by inches, the hems of his coat being sliced.
His hand never left the Kubikiri Houcho as he brought it around expertly, its dull edge swing at the boys midsection, while Kaoru twisted off the long handle.
Even the removable handle was kept in the reforge, as he held the smaller handle of the sword in one hand as he swung, he released his hold and swung around with the hollow metal handle swinging it towards the other sword, while he held the blade and weaved in to pick up the Houcho as it embedded into the ground from the inevitable block that would come, as he knew it would.
Who would really let a human sized sword just smash them in the face?
The boys speed was remarkable for someone of his power range, but his initial estimate was more likely to be proven true, the boy possessed little or no pyshical strength to him, and relied on his speed to overwhelm an opponent.
He reconnected the handle with the sword, and stood ready to see what and how the boy would respond with next.

[Zatoichi Yuudai] The Way of the BladeXx♠Training Grounds♠xX Zatoichi cursed as he saw the incoming blade. Such speed he used the blade with! It was massive and he used it as if it were nothing. Zatoichi would not be able to block the attack. The Sword would crush his defense and shatter his bones. The overall force of the attack would be enough to cleave him in two and any defense he put up would not change that fact. Even when under pressure, his body reacted for him, his legs jerking to the right to touch ground where he could, then pivoting on his heel to maneuver his blade into the throat of his Sensei. Shall never falter, never fade.

The boy was good, Kaoru thought as he saw the blade coming towards his throat. Using the detachable handle again like a club, he batted away the blade and swung inwards trying to strike the boys midsection with the rounded end of the handle, meanwhile swing the massive blade around his body with his other hand.
He was trying to see just how manuevarable the boy truly was, to see the extent to which he was capable of ducking and dodging.
"Your form is good." he said "And your footwork isnt that bad either."

[Zatoichi Yuudai] The Way of the BladeXx♠Training Grounds♠xX Yuudai saw the rounded handle coming and thought that easy enough to counter. He used his Iga-ryu: Iaijutsu technique to quickly parry the strike. He intended to cut his opponent but noticed the large blade coming towards him. He hadn't expected the speed at all and noticed it almost too late. He hurled his weight backwards and threw himself to the ground, holding his body just inches of the ground as the blade hovered over him. The very edge of the blade nicked his chin, leaving a long but shallow cut. Shall never falter, never fade.

Seeing the boy drop to the ground, Kaoru finished the swing of the Kubikiri, because with a sword that big, the centrifigal force from the swing would have been hard to stop.
Once the swing completed, he leapt into the air, reconnecting the handle together, and brought the blade down on where the boy lay, as if to cut him in half where he was.
This was Hidden Mist after all, if you didnt have what it took to complete the training you usually either died, or were so severely beaten that you wouldnt come back.
He thought the boy had enough in him to be able to become one of the Seven Swordsman if he applied himself, his time might be limited but it was up to him wether or not he would continue down the road to being a shinobi.
