ijustworkhere says that, if they get the time, the background would change considering which part of the Worl map you are.
This new site header gives the world of Gaia more importance! I was sick of the way they seemed to be forgetting about the RP side of it ._.

I am glad it wasn't just me then. A small part of me was going "Oh nos! I are getting banned!" but I don't do anything that would be banable (heck I don't do much at all). Paranoia is not good for you.

I'm guessing they will change that. Lanzer said they were going to change Gaia's logo (the new one it's in his journal). The admins haven't decided the new colors yet.
Oh, people are going to hate that. I like it, but our logo comes from '03.. it's the first time that they will change it.

I got 9 new announcements today from July 2006; Yes 2006, not 2007!
They are doing something. I think it has to do with the layout. I don't know about the new layout design they are trying, I want the blue-ness to stay. I think it feels better with the blue-ness plus how can they change the Logo! gonk I do not like the new logo at all... *no-no*

Yeah, it seems to be fixed now, but last night Gaia was going all apocalypse. gonk
The problem with the old announcements was due to a glitch that let people post in them, bumping them back up to the top. >< I swear, some people...

YUCK, CHANGE.
When I was a newbie back in the good old days we walked to our stores instead of using those fancy teleporters. And we didn't tattoo ourselves or run around towns like crazy hooligans.
And WE LIKED IT. scream

Oh, so it wasn't just me who ran here after being unable to post in the Mothership thread. I feel better now.
My reaction to the header change: Meh. Too many buildings. The top of the page needs to be more blue... I wonder what the shortcuts thing will hold.

Hm, I thought it was just my internet/computer freaking out as usual. Guess not! I actually like the new header, but I'm not too sure about the color... I dunno. But I went to Lanzer's journal to see the new logo and Ian is wearing a girly shirt... lol... razz

I like the new design, personally. It looks more mature. The current Gaia feels to... Kiddy, with all the blue and orange...

Personally, I don't think there's anything "kiddy" about Gaia's current colours. They are bright, clean, enjoyable and comforting to look at.
