Before she could get any decent answer she heard the sound of her 'baby' sibling yelling along the way. She only needed to turn her ehad slightly to see him careening straight for her and she panicked, rearing and stumbling backwards and making a loud fuss in the process, manaign to get clear of his path and landing back on her hooves with a thud and grunt, looking as though a hard wind had attacked her now.
She flicked her tail annoyed at Agate now, having almost been crashed into AND cut off from finding anything out before everyone else - including he parents - came along. She gave Agate a quick, hard glare and waved her horn at him a moment before shaking herself to try and resume her 'calm' demeanor.
Oh that fool, I'm going to poke him so many times he'll feel it for weeks! Almost crash into me, what does he think he is, a BIRD? Bird brain more like it... She stuck ehr tongue out at Agate for good measure before trotting back along to gather in the family festivity.
~*~
Kahaina winced when he heard the shout from his smaller son, and slowed slightly, catching up just behind Glory and watching as the other two avoided completely wiping out. At elast everyone was here for such an occasion, and now laying eyes on the other scent, it made more sense then ever. Wether friend or something more, it was good to see his son again, and having been travelling with someone.
He bowed his head to Gabriela in respect and acknowledgement, and turned to look at his son Mythril. "Good to see you again, my son. How have things been? And who is this with you?"

In a flash of inspiration, the stallion skidded sideways, his hooves kicking up dirt and grass as his body slowed to a halt. Of course he fell onto his side, but at least he was unscathed otherwise. Shooting an apologetic look toward Silvance, the unicorn stood and shook the refuse from his coat.
He trotted haughtily up to the group, taking a long moment to eye the new mare curiously; she was even shorter than he was. Oh yeah, Agate thought to himself, doing an inner strut.
"Are we having a party?"

Mythril smiled with himself proud in front of his parents and annoyance for siblings. He wouldn't falter, make an a** of himself in front of Gabriela. Not in a million dreams would he think of doing something to loose that trust he so wonderfully built and shared with her. For a moment he forgot why he'd come, a simple 'proud moment' that left him forgetting his reason. Snapping back to the real world he did remember.
"Everyone this is Gabriela" he announced being honored to introduce her to such a huge family that would hopefully accept her, "I met her in my travels and I wanted her to meet you all." Turning toward his parents he bowed his head, "I've been fine mom and dad, just out exploring and seeing the world". He looked over at his siblings shaking his head, "You guys. I heard you a mile away" he grinned smirking at the both of them.
His eyes darted from one to the rest each in turn watching their eyes intently upon the little mare. He did hope secretly that she didn't think him odd for doing so. He really liked her, even more as a friend making it all the more important to introduce and have them accept someone falling in very close to his heart. But how do you ask such an intimate question, and dear lord in front of a family you've known since the hatching of your basket.
Glory's eyes danced upon the mare beside her son hoping internally she was correct in her assumptions. Why if it were two there would be grandchildren sometime. Imagine that, a grandmother. But she couldn't blurt it out, not just yet. It seemed her son was keeping a tight lid on it, hiding something if not waiting anyway. So she paused and acted as if nothing were happening for now.
"Mythy. Oh you look so well." she nuzzled him before stepping back to look deeply into Gabriela's eyes, "And welcome my dear. Welcome to our little herd. It is a pleasure to meet you." Her heart left watching both with her caring eyes. Please let it be true she whispered to herself.
Turning to face her mate she smiled then turned toward her two horned hellions. She shook her head but didn't scold for they were adult, but still harbored the souls of her precious babies.

Gabriela smiled and giggled a little bit seeing the two siblings coming up from behind. They sure did seem silly, and silly was ok. She figured they provided their family with entertainment and excitement.
When Mythy introduced her, she couldn't help but smile with all her heart. She felt this sensation of being important and mattering to someone. It made her feel wonderful and special. She had closed her eyes for a moment enjoying how her heart was beating a million times a minute. She opened them when his mother greeted her. "Thank you, Ma'am... It's so nice of you." She looked around at everyone.
She finally realized they had all been studying her a little bit. She then remembered when she first met Mythy. How he had been taken in with her wings at first. Feeling slightly awkward and not wanting to make anyone feel awkward about them, she pressed them as far back as she could against her pelt.
It did make her smiled however. There they were. This big happy family. A mother, father, daughter, and two sons. It made her heart soar with hope and belief that families like this really did exist. If he was able to make her part of it, she wouldn't be afraid or turn away from it. To be part of something like this.. but then a small tick went in her mind. How can she be part of their family? They just... treat her like she is? She was wondering, but her calm and peaceful demeanor outwardly shone with her smile as her tail casually brushed back and forth.

Kahaina inwardly sighed at his two children making such a scene, but so it had always been. She was headstrong, he was... well, himself. All things in balance perhaps, though, considering Mythil's demeanor. "A pleasure to meet you, Gabriela," he said, bowing his head again. "I take it your travels with my son have been well? I must admit, I've not personally laid eyes upon one of your kind before, it is a blessing."
His parents had told him stories of such Soquili, those blessed with both horn and the delicate wings of nature, how special and cherished they were to be as they were and gifted so well by the Spirit.
Silvance attempt to ignore Mythril some more for spite, moving up alongside Gabriela and past a moment before turning to look at ehr better, and closer. "Hi hi~" she sing-songed, trying to ignore the looks and such she was given. "Nice to meet ya," she said, holding back the other half she wanted to blurt out but would likely get her in trouble. Instead, she thought it. Sorry you had the pleasure of meeting my brother Mythy!
Man, was it really what she thought, they were... like... considering hooking up or something? She certainly wasn't related with those colors! Which meant potential mate. Oh man... how'd he manage to convince her? She smiled at gabrila, trying to behave and be nice, only because of her parents. "So how have things been?" she chimed in suddenly, and then redirecting her gaze to Agate.
"I wouldn't call it a party," she said somewhat blandly, "but a gathering I suppose. A 'welcome home' for someone who went off on his own." She considered going and poking him now, but would wait. What a dumb question to ask!

A dawning realization of why his brother had brought home a mare settled on the stallion, his eyes lighting up. Agate started wiggling his eyebrow at Mythril in a large and dramatic fashion and stamping a hoof in amusement. "Nice to meet you, indeed." Shaking out his mane, the unicorn noticed how the sun glinted off of Gabriela's wings despite her attempts to hide them. "Shiny fly-ie things you have there, Gabby."
At Silvance he snorted. "We could always throw a party for me. Any reason to celebrate is a reason well spent."

Glory's eyes flickered for a moment upon those shining appendages that sat so nicely upon Gabriela's back. Oh to fly, to touch the clouds with a mere extended hoof. Her mind flickered ideas as fast as they'd zoom into her sub conscience. Still pondering Gabriela as a daughter-in-law was something that made her eyes widen even more. But wait, that was Mythy's decision to tell his family of course. Things of such adornment and happiness couldn't be placed in a simple box with a bow. No, they were well laid out in fancy wrappings with an even larger bow.
"We are honored that Mythy has brought you to us. And might I add your wings are absolutely stunning. Please don't be shy around us. You are quite beautiful as you are." she nodded as the ivory dusted spiral atop her head glided smoothly with her head shake.".
She slowly brought her gaze upon her son, "Mythy I realize you are your own stallion now, "she mentioned with pride toward 'stallion', "but do drop us a line I'll say when you're gone for awhile, we've missed you greatly."
Mythy looked at his parents and blushed. How was he going to ask this one teeny tiny question in front of all those gazing eyes, how indeed. His heart thumped as he glanced over at Agate, then to his sister who was throughly ignoring him for spite. She always did this, on occasion. Just what, he wondered was going on in that girl's head sometimes. The world would ask, but never would they receive a suitable answer.
He cleared his throat pondering the best way to go about this menace gnawing at his mind, finally he gathered strength.
"Everyone..." he paused to get their attention with a subtle pawing of his right hoof upon the ground, "I have something to ask all of you."
It was now or never...

Gabriela smiled at Mythy's father. She slid out from hiding behind Mythril since Silvance and Agate were coming in closer. She supposed she ought to let them have their look at her. If Mythy got them to let her in, they'd be seeing her lots. Right? She smiled and nodded her head at Silvance. "Hello!"
Her head then turned the other direction smiling at Agate. "Thank you. Are parties nice? I've never been to a party."
She then looked up at Glory. Something in her felt a warm waxing love moving through her. Her eyes started to wet. She had been acting a little shy, but she was always a little shy in large groups of people at first. When glory told her not to hide herself. It was that wonderful feeling of someone loving you for everything that you are. It made her so happy. Her wings on their own flapped out, catching all of the sun and almost lighting up with twinkling in the translucent panels of the wings. "That's... very kind of you. Thank you so much." Her disposition was still calm and collected. Even the wetness in her eyes were a quiet and not overwhelming.

"Yes, you made your mother a bit worried," Kahaina added, giving a wink. "You know how she does worry sometimes about things." He nuzzled Glory then, assuring her all was well. The family was one again, and their son had something to ask. Well, this was an occasion, wasn't it. He perked his ears towards Mythril, giving full attention and hoping his son would relax before he tipped over or something from nerves.
Silvance stuck her tongue out at Agate, miffed at his impetuous nature fo saying they out to throw a party for him. For what, being short? Being annoying? Before she could manage up a suitable retart to her most annoying brother - only because Mythril had no horn to poke with and a quieter disposition - she heard Mythril speak and for once kept her mouth shut. Something in his tone actually caught her off guard, and she looked to Mythril, then Gabriela.
Now what sort of thing could he want to ask? she pondered.

"Oh yeah parties are great!" The stallion informed Gabriela, pointedly ignoring his sister. "In fact," he started as Mythril announced he had a question. Trailing off Agate turned to look at his brother for the first time in a long time.
Mythril was always the odd brother, the dreamer, the unhorned. Though Agate was smaller and more fiesty, he enjoyed Myth's company more than he would ever let on with his own machismo or his sister anywhere in the vacinity. Now he got the oddest since that things were about to change drastically.
The unicorn grew oddly somber, all previous antics dropped in a fell swoop.

All eyes rested on this one moment, this query of something that he hopped would last a lifetime. A definite gamble he realized if she did indeed think him silly or otherwise an idiot. But, he had a goal, a simple plan from the moment they set out on this day, something he promised to her.
Clearing his throat in the spotlight he began feeling unsure, but knowing he just had to try. "Everyone I brought Gabriela here because she has no family of her own" he nodded with a small reassuring smile toward her before he began once more, "I told her that she could be part of this family, my family and feel special as we all do. Granted there are times we all don't get along, but well we're family anyway, right?" He chuckled and looked at them all knowing full well they thought he went over a deep end with this one. How silly it was for his proposal when even he knew only blood relations were actually family, or those accepted by a herd such as his mother and his other aunt Samedi.
Glory stood with her eyes all set on Mythril. What was he really asking that his words didn't seem to fathom? True, she as adopted by her own mother from the wild, Celendria made sure of that. She was about to speak when she saw her son about to speak once more, then she paused and didn't utter her thoughts. Mythril was a dreamer, an adventurous type, but he wasn't stupid. And she knew that there was more, something he was dying to speak and say as it glimmered in his eyes as he glanced now and then at Gabriella.
Mythril noticed his mother's words about to be spoken in question, so he decided to resume directly to the point hoping to the greatest deity he wouldn't screw this up. "Now you may wonder what silliness I've pondered. Youi may think me to be the same colt that used to crash into trees without a given notice, which I still am of course." This made him chuckle remembering all those head bashings trees received when he pondered flight. "But, I have a solution to my proposal that I wished to do in the company of my family, something I wanted to show all of you and especially Gabriella at the same time".
Glory stood very still with only her soft breathing laboring from her great lungs. An almost odd silence overtook the realm she looked on as home.
Mythril closed his eyes and breathed slowly, holding that moment all would be revealed. Finally, he turned to Gabriella and smiled, "Gabriella. Thing I wanted most with you being in the family, is for you to become a real family member by blood and love." he announced feeling his legs almost quiver, "Gabriella. Will you stay with me and my family, and become my life mate?"
Glory's eyes widened further as they never had feeling so proud of her son. But she didn't say a word focusing her gaze on her potential daughter-in-law. He'd spoken his heart and now it would be the young mare's words that would either etch a long beginning or a short lived ending.

Gabriela stood taking in everyone's mannerisms and behaviors. When Mythy started in on his speech, she could feel a light breeze moving through her hair. And, then, there it was. It took her by surprise a little as it wasn't what she was expecting; but then she didn't know what she expected to begin with. None of that took very long however. She looked up at Mythril. Her wings spread out again, standing up on her back. She stepped back and forth a little as she felt a fluttering exhilaration in her heart. She nodded her head.
"Yes. Of course, I will stay with you Mythy." Her voice was steady and calm no matter the racing of her heart and her mind. She stepped up closer to him and lowered her head a little to hide it into the front of his neck. She found herself smiling, and blushing a little. She suddenly felt a little put on the spot in front of everyone like that.
She closed her eyes thinking to herself. /a family... blood and love... is this... really meant for me...?/ She felt so surreal to be standing there.

Silvance found her jaw slightly agape, blinking more then a few times in a row. What had just transpired, wait... did he... and did she... how in the...?
She sotod there a bit clueless, trying to piece it all together. Her 'wimpy' little brother, in front of the whole family not only asked them all to accept her as 'family' but also.... proposed?
She shut her mouth quickly, blinking a few times and shook her head subbornly as a few tears attmepted to happen. Bah, it was just her brother after all, why was she getting all choked up?
Kahaina exhaled in relief as she accepted, eaming with pride to his son Mythril. He had managed to overcome the odds and speak it out loud. If he'd had family to go to with Glory he'd have probabyl done the same... ah, romance in the air. He nudged into Glory and nuzzled her, chuckling quietly enough for only her ears and watched the two.

The small stallion said nothing. His gaze wandered to the treeline. Happy? Hell no! Agate was terribly annoyed. His brother had left them and came back with a little wifey? Pfft, he could have at least had her around beforehand, right?
His parents seemed terribly happy; even his sister was acting unusually. Did no one else see the problem with the way this was done? With the fact that they knew nothing about her or even Mythril anymore?
The unicorn watched an eagle swoop down to pluck up a rodent dinner. He kept his eyes trained to the macabre site, unable to cope with the proposal at the moment. Agate, though small, had big emotions, and he feared that opening his mouth would prove disastrous.

Mythril blinked yet his understanding of what conspired was genuine. She, Gabriella had accepted to be part of his family. He couldn't help but smile even more looking at everyone that they were accepting his bravery quite well. Though Agate seemed perplexed, almost a bit off key as he seemed uninterested in the whole situation. Pondering to say something the unhorned one didn't respond or query what his brother was thinking. Looking at his sister he saw a bit of surprise in that mischievous face of hers. Had he done something so bold that they all would think better of him? It was of course why he left in the first place really, to find a better Mythril and prove what he could do. Always the earthbound stallion had dreamed of flight, and usually it ended up in mockery when his ambitious self set in. One collision with a tree and it was "make fun of Mythril time". Now with Gabriella by his side, he could find an even deeper reason to be a better "him".
Glory was ecstatic to hear such news come from her son's mouth so boldly. "Yes he was a dreamer as she, but he had ideals, a future planned possibly with this beautiful young lady. She was everything a mother could ask for is what Glory's eyes flickered with a brilliant radiance. Her babies were growing up, and soon all three would have beautiful girls to bring home for her to ooo and ah over. She nibbled playfully on her mate's cheek still smiling with such happiness.
"Mythril. Gabriella. I'm pleased to hear you accept each other's feelings so freely. Such a bold speech for my son and yet I'm so incredibly proud to gain another daughter into the family. Now Silvance won't feel so alone with the boys" she chimed with a fun nod of her head.
Mythril beamed at his mom stepping closer to Gabriella catching the radiant fragrance of her flowing golden locks. Was he perhaps dreaming, hitting his head too hard into a tree causing temporary mind damage? If so, if he was dreaming, he prayed at this very moment he'd never wake up. For to awaken from a lovely dream as this, well one would wish they stayed in that fantasy... just a little bit longer.
